No consistency to the food here whatsoever! I ordered orange chicken with chow mein a week ago and it was perfect. There were different people working, as well. But this time I went and my chicken was so burnt and overcooked it tasted like char, and was extremely dry, and unappetizing. This is the third time I've gotten food of this quality from this Panda Express location. A few times it's been edible, but when it's bad, it's really bad. Have been stranded in a local hotel for a week. Have tried a number of delivery places as this shit town STILL does not allow people to come in fast food dining areas. This place is literally across the street from me. But they charge a 5 dollar delivery fee, even though doordash delivers the food. Broccoli in the beef & broccoli was bitter. Cheese ragoon's were flavorless and cold. However the driver was very courteous. Looking back at all the reviews, I should have known better. Domino's was way better. read more

Went to Panda Express asked for the broccoli beef the employee gave me two small pieces of beef and about 15 pieces of broccoli. I think she needs to know that we don't really need that much broccoli. It should be at least half and half but for it all to be broccoli and two small pieces of beef is ridiculous. This location closes at 10pm. Walked in at 8:55pm, 8 Employees behind the counter laughing, joking around instead of doing their jobs. Lobby was a completed disaster, very dirty. They had little to no food left over, and stated that they were not cooking any more for the night. How the hell, do you stop cooking food 1 hour before you close???!!! We go here frequently on road trips and the food is always excellent. The service is quick and the employees are friendly. We usually get orange chicken, chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, and the Kung pao chicken. The orange chicken is good and sweet, the chow mein is excellent comfort food, the sweet and sour chicken perfectly lives up to the name, and the Kung Pao chicken is always pleasantly spicy. Wife ordered our food online with the app and first of all they could not find the order second I had to wait 15 minutes. That's 15 minutes after ordering two hours ahead of time. Hit this place today around 3:50, the lomein that i wanted was nothing but onions and noodle scraps. I asked if they could prepare more noodles and was told that they had to sell what was in the pan first. I told the server "look theres nothing in there but scraps and onions, i dont want scraps." He tossed it around a bit and just said "eh". Since i was with other people i just decided to eat elsewhere. We were asked twice if it was for there or to go, 2 of us stated for there. The same apparently offended server proceeds to place the food in Styrofoam to go containers. I then said loudly that the food was to be eaten there. I was promptly ignored. There was a rather long line of people after us, all of who were being served on the Panda fine China (paper plates). When I asked why our party was eating out of to go containers, the flustered cashier said the first server didn't hear us when we said we wanted to eat there. I advised her that 2 people told him it was for there. I told her he must be in a hurry to get rid of us since I offended his pan of onions that he was trying to pass off as noodles. At this point I asked for the customer review number and was told in a very rude tone that it was on my receipt. I asked for another with the store number on it, I had to explain that it was the location and not the phone number!! Needless to say if you like being treated like you don't matter as a consumer, then eat here. Los Lunas is so desperate for Asian fast food they forget that Asahi down off main street treats you like a valuable customer, and you usually have food left over for later! I cannot comment on the 2014-2015 reviews. Our experiences at the restaurant are all more recent, beginning in 2016, and have been good. We get to Los Lunas every few weeks and as often as not eat at the Express. Perhaps there was a management change? I do know I have dealt with the manager as the person at the counter several times, as well as the other counter staff, and found them to be almost entirely consistent in their helpfulness and courtesy. The food has varied, over the last few years, over the range of good to very good. Cooks do vary in how they make a dish and staff turns over, so this is not surprising. Keeping the quality in over the long haul is up to management, and from our experience over the last two years, this is occurring. We've never had a long wait, at most a couple minutes, and we count on being in and out. I or my wife have on occasion found the dish we wanted to be in short supply or (on one occasion) that its pan life should not be extended, and have not had any issues with asking for fresh and graciously getting what we wanted. I keep an eye on the cleanliness, and while not perfect (as perhaps none are), theirs is pretty good and certainly not something I have noticed at all as a concern. Too many restaurants have floors that appear to be secondary garbage sites after the lunch hour, but not this one, not that I have seen. Clearly, we like the place as it's run now. read more
