Just did a road trip from NY to Louisiana, stopped by a few KFC's, the Taste of KFC everyday deals everywhere, including the KFC's on Long Island are all $5, $10 & $20, but not here. Just ordered 2 4pc deals, $10.99 each. You all do this every time LFC comes out with a "deal." Shame on me for coming here expecting the nonsense to stop. I ordered from this restaurant online last night Went to pick up my order and it said it would be ready by 4:15 PM no problem got there and they told me it would be a couple more minutes. OK so I waited and waited and waited. I kept asking what's going on. They said to me we're waiting on Some of the chicken it's now 440. I asked to speak to a manager manager comes over and tells me they're waiting on a couple more items. I said I had ordered this at 4 o'clock. It is now 440 and I'm watching people go through the drive-through and getting their orders and leaving meanwhile my order is nowhere near ready. Feel some of the reviews are a bit tough on this location. Granted I'm sure a lot of what is mention was potentially true at one point, but it's nothing unexpected of a (fast food chain) restaurant location, especially one that I'm sure during prime times is hectic as all can be. Swung by for a late quick dinner after PT appointment to save myself from cooking late, and eating even later. What was delivered, was as expected. Crispy fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, a biscuit and a cookie for $5 plus tax, you really can't beat the quality for the value. Went through drive thru and associate was clear, cordial, patient and even repeated my order to make sure they had it right. When pulled up to window they were ready to collect funds and deliver, change, beverage and the selected meal in bag with all the necessary dinner cutlery with extra napkins. Great innovation call out of the new styled 'spork'. It has more fork and spoon distribution making the poke/grab and scooping better than I have ever experienced. KFC is KFC...My review is not on the food. My rating is on the service. Ordered through the app, picked up the food, came home and it was all wrong. We went back to have corrected and was told the correct order was received. Not thinking it would be wrong again we went home and yep. You guessed it. Wrong order besides the two iced teas. 3:40pm on a Thursday after a long day. Happened upon KFC in Lynbrook and although it's not my typical spot to pick up a bite, I passed a picture of a spicy chicken sandwich and thought to try it. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo for $7.99, sat down in an empty dining room, and LOVED every freakin bite I took. I can't believe how good this sandwich was (and the fries and cookie which were part of the combo). I'd include a picture of my food but I'm writing this review after having finished my meal - every last bite! I will be back for this sandwich again and again. Love it! read more

After a drive thru order, was asked to pull up and wait for someone to take my order out to me. After waiting and watching 5 cars that ordered after me leave, had to get out of my car and go into the restaurant asking where my food was. All the workers were laughing and joking around in the back and no one came near the counter for me to ask for help. After I finally got someone's attention, they realized my food was just sitting there on the counter for the past 15 minutes and they had completely forgotten. They just laughed and said sorry. The food tastes great. I happen to like everything. What I don't like is that when I drive through and order a bucket of dark meat only. They don't do it. I even said it twice and they said "no problem " and I still got home to half dark, half white meat. I don't usually complain about anything but because of the conversation and being assured it wasn't a problem, I was very angry. Worst of all, this wasn't the first time they did this to me. With the virus pandemic going on we waited to get back home to queens to disinfect our food in the microwave. We had ordered the 8 pieces meal crispy with a large fries. We found 8 pieces meal original, and no fries. And the gravy for the mash potato was watery, smelled & tasted funny. We had to throw the whole food in garbage because we don't eat the original chicken, it's way too greasy! We wasted money that we don't have! Such a careless place. Just to update my review from a month ago. My experience of last month was not a fluke. For all KFC lovers like me, I can assure you that KFC is back in Lynbrook. I have been back there twice since then and have found an attentive friendly staff, perfectly cooked large sized chicken parts, hot sides steaming hot and cold sides properly chilled. The dining area is bright, freshly painted and spotlessly clean. In short, this KFC is everything the previous KFC wasn't. Do not hesitate to fill your chicken craving at the Lynbrook KFC. I had the breast, wedges, biscuit, drink, cookie combo. The extra crispy chicken was just fine. The wedges, so-so. Biscuit dry, stale, flavorless, no topping offered. This place is the reason I have a problem with the wage being raised. First off, I have worked in fast food and I did it for a few years. It is EASY so people need to grow up. Second, the person here in the drive through asked me "What do you want?" like I was causing her to hate her life. Then, I was asked multiple times at the window what my order was, then I was given the wrong order anyway. this place is good. you can get a 5 dollar meal with a cookie soda included,or chicken and waffles. its not Boston Market, but its much better than it used to be. the staff here are very nice.they allow me to bring in a beer to go with my meal. if i have time, i prefer Croxleys in RVC, but if im running late wanna catch train biking from WP to RVC i stop here ,it fills me up, gives me energy to pedal those last few miles to the train. im going thru 400 calories per hour on that bike so i need something! read more

Having read the review from Bani D. from last month (August) I have to laugh. Not in a "oh, that's so funny" way but in a "wow, how ironic" kind of way. I just drove through this KFC about an hour ago. The receipt clearly shows 7:45 p.m. on 9/18/15. When I looked at the website it shows opens at 10:30 a.m. and closes at 12:00 p.m. Ummm...I think someone was sleeping in kindergarten school the day they taught how to tell time. If that listing is correct then they are open for business a grand total of 1.5 hours a day. It gives the custom of siesta a whole new meaning. No wonder they didn't open the door for Bani D. They had already been closed almost eleven hours and Bani was disturbing their pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game. I just hope the "donkey" in this case was the "jackass" who failed first grade. On a positive note, I drive through often, usually before 9:00 p.m. and it goes pretty smooth. Usually very friendly and usually they laugh at my jokes. One time the girl got several things wrong with they order and made up for it by correctly giving me the pieces of chicken I asked for and without asking for money. In business, that would be considered the right thing to do. I always find the chicken moist (thighs), hot and crispy. I love the additional of the lemonade to their menu and where else on earth can you drive through and come out the other side with an entire chocolate cake for $5.00. And it is delicious as well. I just bought 2 of the cakes and 2 quarts of the lemonade for my co-workers as a handful of us volunteered to work overtime tomorrow, which is a Saturday (10 hours). This is the 2nd visit to this KFC in a short period of time and the crispy chicken skin is pretty consistent. It is not crispy and chicken is dry. $34.73 for a chicken bucket is not cheap. It is obvious that this chicken is not fresh. When fried skin is rubbery and does not break, then it has been sitting around too long and then re heated for a purchase. I did write a review on the KFC website but nobody ever responded to me. Maybe they don't care. I think people in the are are so used to low quality food from local restaurants that nobody thinks twice anymore. read more

They are constantly running out of original chicken. I went last week for the 10 dollar special, I was told that original chicken wouldn't be ready until 15 minutes. I waited around for twenty minutes before it was served. I went through the drive thru today and was told original would not be ready for another 25 minutes, I left came back an hour later and was told original would not be ready for another 11 minutes.
