I've been driving by Wing's and Thing's since 2021. On today 5/1, I should have continued driving by but I stopped in. Customer service was off, I had to wait for them to cease conversing amongst themselves in order to get help. This reminds me of cafeteria style service- mass-produced, cost-effective meals designed for efficiency, often prioritizing convenience and nutritional guidelines over gourmet quality. I asked for suggestions on the wings/ hot wings. He said he has wings smothered in buffalo wing sauce. What I received was not what I ordered or his suggestion. I received fried wings with patches of cayenne pepper on it. See picture. They weren't spicy at all. The corn bread was delicious and the peach cobbler was perfect, crust and all. I haven't been to wings n things in so many years. Today I decided to try it again & glad I did. I bought 6 jerk wings, 6 honey bbq & 6 buffalo. I liked all 3. My sister said the jerk was too hot but I don't think so. The buffalo wings were good & my mom loved the honey bbq. They did it ℓℓ done flats only. Wow what can i say this used to be the go to spot for the 199 chicken cornbread. Over the past two years like all things prices have gone up to compemsate salary and material increasres. Here the level quality and taste have gone down. I find the chicken be to heavly seasoned with salt. Salt does not equate to taste just srason with herbs spices is mh motto. I ordered on DoorDash for my son. The food was amazing! So I went back a couple of days later and ordered for myself because I was working a few doors down.... I was so disappointed. If I order again it would be via door dash so I wouldn't have to go in there. It's clean so that's a good thing.... But the service? They act like they're mad that you came in to spend your money and eat their food. I don't like that! Y'all know I'm super big on service.... The chicken wings were worth the trip coming from Brooklyn to Long Island. The sweet potato pie needed some more understanding. The peach cobbler also needed some understanding. LOVE!!! There chicken it's always crispy, tastes great. The employee's are very nice when you place your order there is never a long wait for for your food. The establishment is lean. There sides I feel are very small portions ( There chicken legs are small) and the prices I feel are alittle high, except if you purchase one of the special deals they have posted on the window. read more

This place is nostalgic for me. I remember going to the chicken spot deeper on Long Island as a kid and like that my mom lives close to this location. They usually are good but it's the funniest thing to go on Super Bowl Sunday. I should have known that everyone wanted wings from there. I assumed they would all go to the supermarket but nope. Everyone wanted to come here just like me. Never have I ever waited in line and there was a line. I was amused like hello if you like it they love it of course. Even tho they had extra staff for the big day from what I could see the food was not as good as usual. The fried chicken was all soggy. 1/5. The ribs which I have never ordered were not bad at all 4/5. The Spanish rice was in such a small container I'm sure everyone is like nah yall crazy for selling things- but the taste wasn't bad 3/5. Potato salad is bland but you can season it at home which I did. Not I know don't order during busy season but on the regular I get 3 wings and a cornbread for $3.50 which is a very good deal if you ask me. This place is simple, clean, always the same. Wings and Things customer service is outstanding. My $33 Door Dash delivery never arrived. The Door Dash driver and Door Dash App were totally unresponsive to resolve. The manager at Wings and Things told me that she would replace the order If I could come pick it up. Of course I was not going to forego $33 so I went to pick up the order. When I finally reached someone at Door Dash the next day, they initially offered me a refund of less than $5. I told the person that I also paid a $5 tip. I was then refunded $9 to my card and a $10 credit. I have placed 12 orders with Door Dash. Do you think I should EVER use Door Dash or their $10 credit? I called the restaurant to ask what happened instead if taking responsibility and accountability they tried to blame everyone but themselves. They claimed that nothing was missing when I paid for 4 items and only received 2. They claimed that the driver ate the meal and also the woman who I spoke to had the audacity to hang the phone up in my face twice. These people are the most rudest people I've ever came across. We stop here ever so often, you can actually end up spending quite a bit on chicken. They have some good side choices. My hubby likes the ribs. It's a good place to stop if you just need to pick up something on your way home. They make the orders pretty fast. They have deserts as well, recommend the pumpkin pie. read more

I went to wings in things yesterday and ordered honey BBQ winglets, yucca fries, and fried sweet plaintains. First the winglets was hard and old. The sauce did not taste like honey BBQ, and had a bad after taste. Yucca fries was extremely salty, and the fried sweet plantains was burned, and not fully cooked. The quality of the food is good and the pricing is really good--given that they actually fry real chicken. NEVER EVER COME HERE!!! I came for a quick lunch during work and as I'm waiting for my food I see this big guy handling the food in the back pick up a biscuit he dropped on the filthy floor and put it back with the rest, he saw my reaction and me telling my friend, he had a confused look as if he didn't know if should throw it out or just leave it.
