This review is after my second visit to this KFC. Both times, I ordered online and picked them up at the time they promised at the time of ordering. First time, a while ago, I picked up my order at the drive thru. But the second time which is last week, the pick up location was inside the store. There are some parking spots for online order customers right by the entrance. Consistent in one thing only, missing items you order. This is the closest KFC to my house, and they do have decent chicken, but DO NOT leave the drive thru window until you've checked that they've included everything you ordered. Out of the last 12 times I've gone there, 11 of the times they didn't give me my full order. I've tried contacting corporate, but they appear not to care, so decided to take it public. When you order the bowls or pot pies, they lack common sense enough to provide a spork. When you specifically ask for sauces, it seems they go out of their way to not include those, and those are the instances where it's an inconvenience more than anything. Over 1/2 of the time, they don't include food you've paid for, and if you don't call them out while sitting at the window, they imply you are lying and you must have already eaten the food. Also, expect to wait. The last 2 times I went, the app said the food would be ready in 10 minutes, but whey you get there, they say it will take an additional 20minutes. If you go to this location, expect to be disappointed with the common sense, kindness, and missing items. I don't know why corporate KFC is allowing this location to tarnish peoples' view of KFC. I don't expect much from KFC, just to get the order correct, and treat customers with kindness, but I've lowered my expectations of this KFC so I don't get myself worked up into a rage. read more

They forgot my chicken :( usually this place is good (for fast food standards), but last night around 5p when I paid $17 for a sandwich combo and 6 chicken tenders, I had to wait 5-7 minutes (that's fine) while they cooked the chicken. I got home all ready to forgive, forget, and eat my spicy chicken sandwich, only to find it was missing the main ingredient - chicken. I had to swipe two tenders for the 6 I bought for my kids (it's fine, they got enough to eat). So.... I paid $17 for an individual mac and cheese, 2 biscuits, a medium drink, 6 tenders, a bun, and some pickles. I'll give them another chance but only bc my kids like chicken tenders, but I'll stay away from ordering the sandwiches here. Hmmm. It had been some time since I went to the Sudley KFC in Manassas. I wish I hadn't. I ordered an 8 piece meal, it was missing 1 piece of chicken, the coleslaw was dry - I mean REALLY dry, and so was the chicken (which makes me wonder how old it was). The chicken breast was the size I remember from KFC, but the drum stick, wing and thigh were puny - Have they changed something? When I walked into the restaurant, which was empty, I was hit with a very HEAVY thick foul sour smell. You could not escape it - it stank. I would have just turned around and left - but I used the app to order, so I had already paid. I will be deleting the app shortly to ensure I don't get tempted with memories back when KFC was good. read more

I just got home after picking up an 8 piece bucket from this KFC. I was really looking forward to eating the primal recipe topping on the chicken, but I didn't get it. I don't know if it's just bad training or foreign born employees cook the chicken the way that they like it, but my chicken was hot but had barely any crust on it. 1st issue: drive thru service never works so had to go inside. 2nd/biggest issue: Ordered the wrap combo which was $8.49 and came with 2 wraps, fries and a medium drink and then the famous bowl ENTREE which was $6.69. Cashier added an extra medium soda which I did not ask for which was $2.89. I told him I did not want the second drink and to refund me but he just kept giving me the second cup instead of giving me the refund. I told him I did NOT want it yet he acted like he did not understand me. If I wanted a second drink I would have just ordered the combo meal for the famous bowl which comes with a drink and would have been cheaper that way. This is not the first time this man has overcharged me and I will never go back to this KFC again. I did not want to make a big fuss over $3 as there was also a long line so I just took the second drink but I shouldn't be getting charged for things I did not order. The cashier may be the franchise owner which is why he charges for extra things you do NOT ask for. One of those situations where you would give a negative rating if you could. Just terrible. I've seen those KFC TV ads for the snackers that KFC is selling - I've never had one before, and on a whim yesterday around dinner time - I decided to give it a try. I ordered two - the Buffalo snacker, and the Crispy chicken snacker. Man o' Man! Were they ever good! The Buffalo snacker was my favorite - had I known how good that was going to be - I would have ordered a bag full of them! The chicken was crisp and hot - the Buffalo sauce coating the chicken is tangy and spicy, combined with crisp lettuce and the bun was perfect - soft and warm. Wow! This one is always busy because it's located on Sudley Road. The food is fresh and people seem to know what they're doing. They recently remodelled this restaurant. I would give a zero rating if I could but I tried to order some food today and needed a minute to look at the menu for what I wanted and about 15 seconds after saying I needed to look the person at the drive thru started yelling at me to order which number of food so I could get gone. Fries were hard. Had them to cook more they came out even harder. The old lady on the mic had a very nasty attitude. When I asked for honey mustard for my tenders she said the will come out when the bring my fries out. I asked what does giving me the sauce now has to with anything. I am not much of a complainer but I had one of the worse experiences in my life last night. I work in customer service and this experience was unbelievable. I have been waiting a long time for the beyond chicken because i can't eat meat. So I was treating my family to KFC so I could try it. We go through the drive through and we had a girl who was sweet at the beginning taking our order and half way through our order they switched people. The guy was very disrespectful very rushing us, he also did not even read back the order. They screwed up the whole order. We go to pay and they took our card and didn't tell us the total until after taking the card and charging it. It was $21. 17 which is not correct if we are feeding a group of 4 people especially if the one meal was a 8 piece chicken bucket that's like $20. So we say something nicely and they started talking back. They did not give us a receipt and just was rude. My dad was being polite in the beginning explaining how they switched and screwed it all up. The man who didn't do it correctly then walks over with some nasty attitude and needs to fix his face by the way he was looking at us. We did receive what we were missing. But where I work if that happens or if we do something wrong we offer gift card or even a free meal with what they are missing. I am very sad with this and i will be more then happy to drive to the next one close by that's like 45 min drive just to get what i want. I pulled up to the drive-thru and the speaker is so busted I can't understand anything the employee is asking, and have to yell loudly for them to hear me. The guy finally gives up and asks me to pull around. He finishes taking my order at the window. I am told it will take 10 minutes and would I mind waiting? It is now 20 minutes later and I am still here waiting. The car behind me (that also pulled up to wait) has now got their food and left before me. Seems ridiculous to have to wait 20+ minutes at a fast food place. Upon getting home, the skin on the chicken is anything but extra crispy (try extra soggy), and the biscuits are stale. This KFC is a typical fast food restaurant. It is not fine dining but they are usually as fast and friendly as teenagers can be. I am reviewing more to say how much I enjoy the Nashville Hot chicken. I do not usually eat KFC but the new Nashville Hot chicken tenders are my new go-to when I am looking for fast food. Perfect balance of tangy and spicy. I will continue going to KFC as long as they carry the Nashville Hot chicken. read more

The store manager was the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with at any fast food place hands down! He would not allow me to modify my sides for my 20 dollar fill up when I've done so numerous times! I asked what his reason was and he said he was not changing a thing and that there was no reason and he was just sorry and he wasn't changing the order regardless of the previous times the modifying was honored! I was under the impression they don't need my money because they have the highest profiting store in the state....until I seen similar reviews on yelp! Long story short the Gainsville store gave no dispute and didn't think twice about giving me my modified order which according to the Gainsville manager said the price equal so he didn't see what the problem was ironically! Unfortunately, this particular location is often under-staffed during prime time, with a line of cars waiting in the drive-through, a line of people waiting for the cashier inside the restaurant, and just one person handling each stream of customers. It's so frustrating getting the wrong order, including less chicken, the wrong sides, and tacos that were not ordered, but in trying to complete the survey to report these errors, the receipt didn't have the complete survey code because the register is out of toner for the printer, leaving a blank streak down the entire sales slip! I paid $41.79 for an order that likely was much less than that. I didn't discover the error until I arrived home...and I'm not about to retrace my steps to this place.
