My first visit to Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for lunch. Ordered the 4 piece chicken finger meal - with a bottle of water. Chicken was tasty. It's served with a soufflé cup of their "Cane" sauce. It wasn't enough sauce for me - so I went up to ask for another container of sauce. They made me pay for it - not a lot of money - 30 cents - but it felt cheap. Fries were pretty good - they could have been a little hotter. Cole slaw was fine. The toast was meh - I could've done without the toast. Service was good. This was a second visit. I had been given a gift card and made the trip out. Lunchtime was relatively quiet, so it was quick to order. Cashier was really friendly and helpful. From the first visit someone had mentioned if you wanted to swap items in the combos you could, but I didn't think to ask. I got the Big Box combo and mentioned no coleslaw, so the cashier asked if I wanted extra sauce, toast, or fries. I went with fries. The order came out quickly. I got it to go to run some errands and eat later. Food was good. Fries were a mix of crispy with a little softer (which were fine.) Seasoned, but not overly salty. While it may be just misremembering, I feel like the tenders were also better seasoned this time around. I was patiently waiting for this to open when I heard it was coming to manassas. We went through the drive thru and it was extremely quick , food came out hot. I think the portions are a little small for the price but now a days with inflation it's kind of expected. Everything tasted fresh and hot. The canes sauce was very tasty. Lemonade wasn't overly sweet which I enjoyed. This is a good chicken option if you aren't looking for overly seasoned or spiced chicken. Located right next to the Wawa and Walmart on Liberia, this location is now serving up their famous chicken fingers, sweet tea and lemonade. I went to the soft opening and here are all the yummy things to try out: *The Box Combo (4 chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast) *Sandwich Combo (3 chicken fingers on a bun) *Lemonade/sweet tea The food arrived hot and fresh, and I enjoyed dipping everything in their Cane's sauce. They also offer ketchup (located by the sweet tea) to dip your crinkle cut fries in. Another favorite of mine is making a mini sandwich by slicing the toast and placing a chicken finger inside. I also ordered an Arnold Palmer, half sweet tea and half lemonade, which was delicious. This location has a decent amount of parking, and you can also use the drive thru if you'd prefer to grab and go. The employees here were so nice and they were constantly going around the dining room cleaning tables. The aesthetics of this place were also really nice! This is one busy location. Kudos to the exceptional staff. Raising Cane's are moving in the DC area, at hurricane speed. Pardon the pun, but a good restaurant. You might not be able to quickly get your food, but quality and price wise it's worth it. The chicken fingers seem to melt. The fries and Texas toast are delicious. This chain has some guts, as this one's close to a Chik Fil A. I admire this moxie. They have good foods, at quite a reasonable cost. My son also loves this place, so an added bonus. He's rather picky, but is a fan. This dad is too. Great food and prices that I can afford. Clean location with super nice employees. Give it a try! read more

Every time I see a food blogger show up in my feed dunking a tender into the cane's sauce, it reignites my craving for Raising Cane's. Unfortunately I've tried this location 3 times and it's always underwhelming. The tenders are not crunchy and the breading instantly falls off (if it was even there to begin with) so they tend to be completely flavorless. The sauce saves it, but for a tenders spot, they should really work on getting this right. I've had the food instantly twice, and driven home with it once, but the times I ate it right away the fries were nice and hot. Bread is always toasty as well. I am giving more stars than I would because the service is great. Very friendly staff and quick service. Save for the sauce, I really can't say this location is that worth it if you are craving tenders. Bonus points for the honey mustard though. read more

TL;DR: Great food, service, and location! I've only had Raising Cane's (Richmond, VA) once many may years ago, and I was unimpressed. But this location has changed my mind! It is a stand alone building and even has a drive-thru (which I've never seen a Raising Cane's with one). The interior is set up wonderfully and have plenty of seating inside and outside. It does get a bit loud inside, depending on how busy it is, but you can just take it to-go. SERVICE: 5/5 - everyone was SO FRIENDLY. Like 10x more friendly than any other fast food place I've been to. Ordering was easy and informative. FOOD: 5/5 - with the event, we were able to get any combo. Their menu is limited, but that's not a bad thing! They know what they're doing, and they're good at it ~The Caniac Combo (5/5): gets you 6 tenders, coleslaw, fries, and a piece of texas toast. Chicken tenders were so nice and tender (no pun intended). Most white meat tenders I have easily get dry ~The Sandwich combo (3.9/5): 3 tenders in a bun with lettuce and cane sauce. This was tasty, but it was very difficult to eat. ~Crinkle cut fries (5/5): I usually HATE crinkle cut fries, but RC has converted me. They were soooooo good. Seasoned and fried well. ~Coleslaw (4/5): If you like more mild coleslaw, this will hit that! I attended their grand opening and they had a giveaway for 20 people to win free canes for a year. The first 100 people were also given a free t-shirt and a box combo card for a future visit. They also gave sunglasses, lanyards, and stickers. The canes team was very welcoming and helpful, loved the energy that everyone brought! I got the box combo with sweet tea and the quality of the food was amazing. The chicken fingers were cooked perfectly and the texas toast speaks for itself. I was able to drive home to enjoy my food and it kept surprisingly well for the commute back. Despite the long line, it moved very fast and we all got our food within an hour of the store's opening. I went to Raising Canes in Manassas a few days ago. It just opened not too long ago so of course the dining room, patio and drive thru lines were all packed. The young man who took my order was friendly and efficient. I ordered the chick finger sandwich combo with a half lemonade half tea. The sandwich was crispy, hot and delicious. I got the sauce in the side in case I didn't like it. The fries were surprisingly lukewarm warm and a little soggy. And guess what it's about a quarter mile from another chicken giant that isn't open on Sundays(haha). Trust me RC's will be booked and busy on Sundays. Raising Cane's was the requested birthday dinner spot for my 12-year-old son. The closest restaurant to our home was in Manassas, VA, 1 1/2 hours away. Birthdays and birthday dinners are special to us, so we loaded up the car and headed east to Manassas. Once we entered the restaurant, I observed how busy they were. Nearly each table was filled with those enjoying their dinners. It was the dinner time rush, I assume, but also a good sign that our drive wouldn't be in vain. The restaurant was, at least visually, living up to the hype my son wanted to enjoy. At the counter, we were greeted by a smiling face at the register and two additional workers managing orders behind her. I announced that we had driven a great distance for our son's birthday and the manager (one of those managing orders) was so cordial and welcoming to our family. His generosity and kindness are ultimately what has prompted this review, because I believe customer service can make or break a reputation of not only a business or brand, but humanity. I didn't get his name, but he and his staff made our adventure, 75 miles away, for chicken tenders, fried, and slaw memorable in the best possible way. The service and food were exceptional and worth our trek. "Come back when you can", was not just something routine to say to a customer. I thought the fries could have been cooked longer but were good. The fries could use a little more salt, but not much. The coke soda seemed to be "watered down" a little. I enjoyed the Cane's sauce that comes with the chicken. A nice blend of spice and cream. Overall, I liked the meal and would order again as something different to Chik-Fil-A or Hangry Joes. This was my first visit to Raising Canes. My wife had visited a different one recently and raved about the chicken. She was absolutely right. The chicken at the Manassas location was some of the best I've ever had. They're french fries look like your typical crinkle cut frozen but they were hot tasty and seasoned well. One of the best parts of the meal surprisingly was the Texas toast which was unbelievable. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly. All made them Worthy of 5 stars. BUT... the music they were playing was deafingly loud. When we first drove up I couldn't help but notice the outdoor speakers which were blaring music. But when we entered the restaurant it was equally loud and obnoxious. I looked around to see if anybody was holding their ears but they weren't. The volume reminded me me of nightclub. After we ordered I mentioned the music level to one of the employees who seem surprised and then dashed off but nothing changed. My wife and I decided to eat outside because of the loud music and frankly it was a bit chilly in the restaurant However it turned out that outside, the music was even worse. You literally could not get away from the blasting noise. As good as the food was, rushed through the meal so we could get out of there. I did try a second time telling the staff about the loud music and again they acted surprised and dashed off but the volume never changed. I could never have imagined such a small thing being able to run what was otherwise of Wonderful meal. Now that I've tasted the high quality of Raising Cane's we will definitely visit again but at a different location, hopefully with better management or at least one who listens to customers complaints. read more
