Place was absolutely shit. Got here at 9:40pm... they close at 11pm. I attempt to order KFC at which point she tells me "sorry we not doing any KFC right now". My question is what point is there to say they open til 11 but then be closed at 9:40pm. Was sick at home & asked my wife to get me Chicken Strips. There was possibly a grease recovery unit making so much noise the ordering speaker was tough for all involved. My wife made the mistake of asking what was in the meal. "Look at the picture!" was the reply. The food was great but the services sucks. I personally am not a fan of this place. The wait was very long, I'd say about thirty minutes. We ordered not too much food, and the service was just pitiful. There were some employees who were great and helped a lot, but some were not helpful. I cannot believe they didn't have KFC sauce which is a bummer cause I was really eager to try it. The building in the inside was just very messy and dirty, and there was a lot of chaos going on. Some items were forgotten in our order which we had to ask for again and wait even longer for. I got a baja blast tasted off so i just put mountain dew in it and also tasted off. I ordered 3 dorito tacos supreme and it took 20 minutes. When i opened the bag there was one piece of lettuce through out all three and one was a normal shell. Also a nice lady came up to me and said do you want some chicken strips because the people messed up her order and gave her more. Finally the workers were arguing the whole time making my order. Bought only 3 different meals which weren't hard to make . 2 chicken sandwich meals with nuggets and fries on the box and 1 Crunchwrap from the Taco Bell menu. They shorted us the nuggets in both kfc boxes then literally put a small box of fried and a kfc biscuit in the Taco Bell bag where the Crunchwrap was supposed to be in! Then went all the back around and the nasty biz wouldn't even give us any of the items we told her they shorted us then had the nerve to start running her mouth and said she wasn't giving us anything and slammed the door shut and no one came back to the window. Waited about 45 min in the drive thru. We were hungry so we waited. Got our food(both KFC And Taco Bell) and it was already soggy and no where near still warm. Service with an attitude is what I received today. Irritated that the line hasn't moved and you can hear the person ask to take your order by yelling repeatedly "order when you're ready" - I'm sorry, you're at the window and should know that the car sitting at your window to get their food hasn't moved, you've already taken the order of the customer at the drive-up menu, so why pray tell are you yelling to take an order? Then you get to the menu to be met with attitude. No total given, just "drive up". It's clear when you arrive to pick your order up who you were just speaking with - she throw her hand of the window to retrieve payment, still with no total, hands the card back w/o a receipt all while telling her coworker she forgot how much she hates to work the drive-thru.....don't worry, anyone driving through there today around 2:30 is well aware. Thank God I'm a local and this isn't our busy tourist season. Owner of this location needs to retrain the staff on appropriate behavior - take a cue from Chick-fil-A, it will serve you and our tourists well! This is probably the worst experience ever at an establishment. They are a divided fast food "restaurant" so they are both KFC and Taco Bell. I ordered a very simple 2 combos and 2 mini quesadillas. They somehow made it possible to mess up every item given to us and took 30 minutes to give us all messed up items. They neither apologized nor offered to comp us for our meal. It was unsanitary and the employees seemed to not care and act like they were on vacation themselves. The car in front of me was given my food (KFC). He went back inside to get the right order (Taco Bell). I could see the inside counter from the drive thru window. I watched the drive through lady take the bag from him, put it on the counter by the drive thru window and then try to hand it to me. Husband stopped to pick up dinner. He, his stepfather, and another coworker ordered a $30 fill up. Now I get thats a large order but the summer is coming, visitors will be here before too long and large orders are going to happen regularly. When my father inlaw walked in to use the restroom he overheard the manager saying "this order is for those assholes out there." I ordered the 12 piece family meal to go. The service was fast (order ready in less than 5 minutes), but the 12 pieces of chicken consisted of 75% thighs. I would expect 25% of legs, 25% of thighs, 25% breast, 25% wings. Or 3 pieces of each type. It's not difficult to do the math. No one was impressed with 9 thighs. Biscuits, coleslaw, and potato with gravy were all fine. Just got food there today. Overall the food is good as usual but service really ruins the whole experience. The place is too small for all the traffic it gets and food took unusually long to come out. Parking is even more of a nightmare as there's only one exit unlike every other fast food joint. The workers and manager all seem to be incompetent as they had no sense of the immense amount of people at the place. Will not be going back anytime soon! read more

When we walked in the place was very crowded with people who where waiting for their food. The place was disgusting. The service was really bad and overrun and kept getting orders mixed up. About waiting a time you would wait for food at a regular restaurant, we got our food. But the food tasted amazing which makes up for it. I would recommend the three piece chicken meal with a side of Mac and cheese and sweet corn. read more

We went around 2:30pm. This location is also a Taco Bell so you get a choice between KFC or Taco Bell which is nice. We decided to go here because sonic up the street wouldn't even take our order. We walked in and the staff didn't seem with it . The lady at the register was on her phone, and there was one other family besides us. Anyway we order, they were out of fries which was okay with us we didn't really want them anyway. Me and my dad got KFC and my mom got Taco Bell. From KFC we got two chicken sandwiches baked beans, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and green beans. The sides were hot and as good as you can get from being fast food. My chicken sandwich was kinda bland but better than expected. My mom didn't like what she got from Taco Bell but I tried it and I thought it was good. I will say that the place was pretty dirty. ALL the tables were DIRTY and there was stuff on the floor, and I know they are short staffed but they could take a few minutes to wipe the tables and sweep a little, as I said they weren't busy and the lady was on her phone when we walked in. They need to manage their employees better but overall the experience was better than expected. read more

Ordered a meal here for 8 when we were late leaving the house for dinner and couldn't find anywhere with less than an hour wait. It reminded me why we rarely eat at KFC. The highlight was when we got our meal and it was missing biscuits. I asked at the counter and after a couple minutes of confusion and checking various warmers, they decided they were completely out of biscuits. Now, can someone please tell me how KFC can run out of biscuits? Luckily they replaced the biscuits with an extra coke slaw that tasted like it was a couple days old. If you want fast, inexpensive non-seafood on OBX, this is your best option. Having both a Taco Bell & KFC colocated is helpful...max carbs and protein with minimal effort. Service inside is ok...never tried the drive thru. And the bath room is clean; extra points. read more
