I had a very frustrating experience at this Popeyes location…read more When you walk in, you're basically directed to use the kiosk, which is fine until something goes wrong. I had a coupon for a sandwich, drink, and side, but when I entered the coupon code, the kiosk would only apply it to the sandwich. I tried for quite a while to get someone's attention for help, but no one seemed willing to look up or assist me. When someone finally came over, he told me he had no idea how to fix it and that it was "above his pay grade," then went right back to working the drive-through. I ended up paying full price even though I had a valid coupon simply because no one would help. My boyfriend had his own coupon as well, and we also ran into the problem that the kiosk does not give you certain options. For example, if you want all white meat and are willing to pay the extra charge, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to select that. Then when you try to ask an employee for help or explain what you want, you feel like you're bothering them. They also had no jelly at all -- no grape, no strawberry, nothing. That by itself is obviously not a huge deal, but combined with everything else, it just added to the feeling that there was very little attention being paid to the customer experience. The biggest issue wasn't even the food. It was how difficult and frustrating it was to get any assistance. If customers are expected to use kiosks, there still needs to be someone available who is willing and able to help when the kiosk doesn't work properly or doesn't offer the option the customer needs.
