Red velvet/cheesecake/strawberry cake. Soooo dang good.

We were staying at the Sheraton Orlando for a birthday party and wanted to get something to eat. So we looked up black owed restaurants near us. We saw Mad Crab and it had good reviews so we figured we'd try it out. Babeeeeee they did not disappoint!!! All 3 of us love seafood and they are one of the best we've had. It's family owned and operated and Adrien and Moe (the mom) were so wonderful!!! I felt like I was eating at a friends house. Me and another friend got a pound of Crab legs which came with corn, egg and potato's. Another friend got snow crab, shrimp, crawfish!! With the Ms. Moe's sauce with medium heat. Soooooooooo good!!! The wings were good as well. The corn nuggets will change your life. Now it is a hole in the wall and it's small only 1 table, so you may have to get it to go. But if your a seafood lover trust me, you'll want to try them. We are already planning on coming back tomorrow.

Was traveling for a business trip and decided to grab a bite to eat nearby. Great seafood for a great price 10/10 recommend grabbing it to go!

Lb of shrimp with potatoes and corn

This place pretty much lived up to the hype. Don't let looks deceive you, it may be a quaint little store but the broil is FIRE I entered around 5pm and it was a little awkward cuz I didn't get a greeting and the two owners were sittin down eating some of their own broil so I may have interrupted their dinner, but regardless I ordered a lb of their shrimp that came with potatoes and corn. It took maybe 5 min for them to prepare it and it looked and tasted DIVINE. I wasn't going to finish it all but I couldn't help it. I went back to work and almost fell asleep. The seasonings are on point and the shrimp are in no way skimpy. They're nice large and plump. U know a broil is good when u can't help but dip every bite of anything u can get a hold of back into the sauce. The pricing may seem a little steep but keep in mind this is seafood by the lb. They didn't have fried options when I went so I'm looking forward to going back. Hopefully they'll excuse my awkwardness as I unintentionally interrupt their meals again ‍

WOW. I am in love with this spot. You can tell they put a lot of love into their seasonings and food, here. The crab and shrimp combo was so flavorful and you could tell the meat was fresh. They did not skimp out on the crab at ALL and we cannot wait to go back. The wings were also so flavorful and we can't wait to try other flavors. We will definitely be back.

Left a review here years ago and I just wanted to come back and update it to say it's still amazing and still my favorite. I've moved further from the location and it is the one place that I'm willing to drive to. The seafood is always fresh and the size of the crabs is always worth the price. The family running the place is always so accommodating. Recently we ordered 3 trays all made differently and each one was made right. My friend wanted enough seasoning to make her blood pressure rise and they obliged lol. For years this place has been my consistent go to and I'm glad to see them thriving, growing, and still maintaining great food quality and service (and prices!)

My favorite seafood spot in Orlando (well Eatonville) right now! I'm not too much a boil in the bag seafood kinda girl I like my seasonings and my butter! Madcrab's seasoning is absolute perfection!! I've been eating them for years & they NEVER disappoint! Even their different flavor lemonades are good! & of course I love to support my people, they are black owned! If you haven't tried them I would urge you to so you aren't missing out on your blessing lol

Mr. Martin and I bouts to tear this up !!!!

Nice small and cozy place, family business, Employees very nice. The food was awesome, if you have a low tolerance for salt tell them light salt. The homemade flavored lemonades are really good and sweet. The place got crowded pretty quickly for a Friday of course. All the employees are very helpful constantly tending to your needs. This family owned business is what we need more of.

Honestly, one of the best seafood places ever. My usual order is the snow crab combo and I just add shrimp for $5 more, which is a steal. Super flavorful. Smothered in Cajun buttery goodness. I could eat this stuff every day lol. Tip: Call to order ahead of time because it could take a minute since this place gets pretty poppin' (especially at dinner time)!

Fish sandwich and fries. This monster meal was seven dollars.
    John M.

This place is the personification of a hole in the wall place that offers big flavors. Factor in a friendly staff and great prices and you truly have a winning combination. I chose the fish sandwich and fries after several customers recommended it. While they use tilapia, which is a fish I rarely eat due to the negative findings that has come out on it, it was simply amazing and the price for this sandwich, which was two filets with garlic bread and a slew of french fries was seven dollars. This was quite the deal and so perfectly prepared. Well seasoned and properly cooked. I enjoyed each and every bite. This place, as mentioned, is small and not in a fashionable neighborhood, but this should not dissuade you from trying here. Like the old adage, "Good things come in small packages," this place is truly a gem.

Passed this place a few times while driving through Eatonville & finally pinned it to stop by. I decided to do a date night with movie & seafood & this was the perfect place to get food from. I got here at about 5:30 and by reading the reviews i had and idea what i wanted but to be safe instead of calling in my order i opted to order there. I ordered 1lb of snow crabs with shrimp, corn and egg. I ordered a 10 piece of lemon pepper wings & 2 lemonades ( pineapple mango & pineapple peach). I read so much about the banana pudding so i figured they would be sold out & they were she told me the customer before me got the last one. Her younger son overheard me asking and just my luck he had one in the back for himself but he let me buy it!! My order was ready in about 25 minutes. I ordered a extra butter ($0.75). To have just in case. My tray came with 3 clusters. The food was SPECTACULAR that banana pudding taste like a piece of heaven!!!! I called soon as they opened on Saturday to get some more pudding but they didn't have any. I would most definitely recommend this place & i already have recommended it to friends. The people that work there were all professional & the place was clean. Can't wait to visit again!

IDK what they do, but they need to keep doing it! The food is so good. We ordered the Dungeness crab platter (2lbs) 15 shrimp, 2 corn, and potatoes, and between the 3 if us we left stuffed and happy, and still had more left. The way they cook the crab makes the shells soft enough to break with your hands, thiugh the tools are useful to get every last bit! The outside of the place may raise some questions in your head, but believe me, the food is delicious. The staff are nice and facilitating. As some mention it is predominantly a take out place as the seating area is small and compact. If you call ahead and place your order you'll be better off. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way if you have too, but the food here is some if the best I've had, the rub they use may be a tad salty for some, is amazing.

Mad crabs! Well, I bet you would be mad I dropped you into a pot of boiling water alive. So I understand why they're mad but I will have to say there's something about an Mad Crab that tastes better that I happy crab. The building is very small and old. There's a real lack of seeded so we ended up sitting outside. Outside is a small porch the sun was Blazing right on us. Every time the wind would blow picking up big woft of rotten trash smell. I was about to take a starter off because this. For the food came I was nothing but plus plus plus Stars. As far as food taste flavor quality and service I would give this place higher than a 5-star if I could. The crab how to dry rub sprinkled over the top and however they could get it also soaked in the flavor. It was very good I even asked if they make their own dry rub which they do. The crab is cooked so perfectly I did not need any special tools to get into it. No crackers, no Fork, no knife. I could easily crack the leg and pulling a tire chunk of meat out of it. You think the koala be difficult to get into possible to apply a little pressure with my thumb and bust it right open. The flavor was so good! And so rich, anytime you crack some shell water and flavor we just pour out of it. It was really delicious! Another review said this is mostly a takeout place and this is mostly true. Seating is very limited and hard to come by. Location is very busy and does sellout.

Mad Crab Savory wings. Oh so good! I might never try another flavor!

Updating this review from about seven years ago. I came to Reel Fish a while ago, and it was a…read moretruly awful experience. The skimpy amount of seafood I got was not good, not cooked well, or served with undercooked potatoes. It shook me. Especially for a Winter Park restaurant. After my five year statute of limitations passed on repeating restaurants, I looked for the perfect opportunity to come back and try again. I found that opportunity recently with a few friends for brunch. Their brunch menu looked amazing, so we made our reservation and came on by. Ambiance is actually really nice. Right off one of the main WP roads, gigantic windows look out upon the street as passersby roam from shop to shop. Inside looks like an ocean-side sea shack, but an upper middle class one. Very nice little ocean-themed chotchkies adorn the walls, very cozy. Service was also great. Very nice server, very prompt food delivery, and they gave complimentary bread with a delightful butter. I always adore free bread. We started off sharing the Seafood Fritters (Four savory puppies, stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, grouper, onions, corn, poblano peppers, served with a zesty tartar sauce). If all five of those seafoods really were in there, there must have been only a few molecules each, but there was undoubtedly flavors from most of that list, and they were accentuated with the poblano. Topped with that zesty tartar, and this was an A+ app. I had the Lobster Benedict Royale (Chunks of Maine lobster on fried green tomatoes & house-baked buttermilk biscuits, topped with poached eggs & Hollandaise, sprinkled with paprika & chopped green onions). This was indulgent. Pure luxury. A warm biscuit with a good flakiness, that fried green tomato with the perfect thickness and thin, delicate coating, and those perfectly cooked jumbo chunks of lobster on top, all covered in an unctuous Hollandaise. Exactly as it sounds, as advertised, the perfect seafood brunch item. I also got to try the Shrimp Frittata (Wild-caught Florida shrimp, fresh eggs, spinach, Campari tomatoes, goat cheese, caramelized onions, baked in a cast-iron skillet, with wheat toast, butter & a little mixed green salad). This was a fun dish. Good shrimps, well-cooked eggs, a nice tang from that goat, and of course a nice crunchy toast to help make it even more interesting. I didn't like that random salad on the side. Just get bigger cast irons and make the frittata bigger. Overall, what a redemption. I'm not sure what was wrong back in the day, but this is a five star place now that I will happily return to when it's time.

I made a reservation for a Saturday evening on Resy in advance. Since valet parking is free, I took advantage of it and headed straight to check in. I was greeted immediately and sent to the table where I could watch the open kitchen. I was told most of the drinks were strong, so I tried the mezcal drink (14 dollars). I forgot the name, but it was smoky, herbal, and lightly boozy. It was such a nice sipping drink. I was very happy that my server was very honest in mentioning the salmon was farmed raised, so I decided to go with the airline chicken instead (26 dollars). Before I was given my chicken, the chef near my table gave me a complimentary hors D'oeuvre. It looked to be a small wonton bowls filled with ahi tuna with some guac topping I think. Whatever it was, I was in heaven. It was fresh and flavorful, making my taste buds happy. When the chicken arrived, it came mostly deboned. It was tender enough, but could have been a little more juicy. It could been a bit more seasoned as well since I tasted mostly chicken without any other flavors. The vegetables, however, were far better as the potatoes were roasted and seasoned perfectly. I thought there would be mostly grilled vegetables, but the potatoes overtook them. The other vegetables were still amazing. I wish there was more of the green salsa, but it was thin. It did, however, added the kick and flavor to the chicken. It was still a very enjoyable entree. For dessert, they handed a separate menu, and I had to do the creme brulee (11 dollars). It was quite generous, but still light enough to finish. The crust was crispy without being too powerful, and the vanilla specks just made the flavor perfect. The service was excellent and professional. When it was time to pay, I showed the email to my server, who got the manager to verify. The manager immediately checked and gave me the twenty dollars off, making the total price before tips about 33 dollars after tax. It was a great deal. Both the manager and server checked up with me on the dinner and were very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale, but t-shirt and jeans are still welcome here. I love the open kitchen, and you are welcome to talk to the chefs. I am so happy I visited Luke's again after a long time. I loved their sister restaurant, Lumas, and was sad they closed a while back ago. While Luke's can be a bit pricey, they still have some items at reasonable prices (like the chicken, burgers, and sandwiches). Plus, if you sign up for their email, you can get promotions as well.
