I've been a KFC's before they're taking the coupons I get via text message. This particular location said they don't take those coupons. If they don't take those coupons wants to point sending those out in the first place. I've been in this particular location a few times. It's kind of out-of-the-way and I have to drive to try to get here. I've been disappointed unsatisfied the last couple times. This KFC. The last time I was here they didn't even have sweet tea. The only reason to give one star is so I can submit this review. This place is disgusting and if not for the insistence of a third party I would have gladly walked out empty handed. The walls and windows appear to have never been cleaned. There's obvious neglect to any kind of cleaning everywhere. More importantly it appears that the neglect extends to the cooking of the chicken. By the appearance of the coating the oil is teetering on overused and quite possibly rancid. This will always remain a top "yuck- never go there again" - experience! read more

You know when you drive by a place that used to be one of your goto favorite comfort food restaurants and you think, well maybe, they've had enough time to get their act together and start serving decent food the way they used to, and you give it a try. Well, I did that today at KFC. And just as I knew I would be deep down, I'm sitting here five minutes after eating, totally disappointed. Not only did I pay more than double what I would've paid a couple of years ago, but they will not give you butter anymore for your biscuit and today they didn't even have any honey. Really the only thing good in this two piece meal is the mashed potatoes and gravy and some of the skin that was on my chicken breast. It just makes me sad. I guess I'll give it another year to see if they can get it together in 2026. read more

Made the mistake and used the drive thru after a year + Luckily I planned to eat my order in my vehicle. Of course my simple honey bbq sandwich had no sauce. When I pulled back through all I said at the speaker was my order fulfillment wasn't even close. How did the window attendee know what was wrong with my order? All he does is hand me a container of sauce. I purchased a meal with a cold slaw side and a drink. The only conclusion I could arrive at is that my sandwich was ill prepared on purpose. Where do I start? Here is my punch list: * Dining room had no air conditioning. It was at least 90 in there. * New Crispy sandwich was dry. * Ear-splitting rock music blared from a wall-mounted TV. * Floors and tables were sticky. * Potato wedges were cold and dry. A request to have the music volume lowered was not fulfilled. I had to stand on a chair and shut it off. Dining room erupted in applause. We ate at this location at approximately 11:45, Wednesday the 21st of February what we consider in the morning. So it was before we thought would be our lunch rush. The floor was sticky, I mean you would literally start sticking as soon as you walked in the door. Got up to the counter, placed our order and then went over to the drink fountain, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all since the day before. There was splatter all over the backside of the fountain and all over the floor. Got our order and went home, the mac & cheese was pasty and old, the biscuits were hard, and the french fries were stale and cold. Everything felt like it was from the day before. The only thing I can say, on a positive note which deems the one star is the service at the counter. It was decent. All we ordered was four personal boxes, (two two-piece boxes with french fries, and two three-piece boxes, one with the mac & cheese and the other with mashed potato and gravy) All four of the biscuits were hard as rocks, and the chicken was decent, but it also felt like it had been fried the day before, and just dropped again to reheat. I do not recommend this location until they learn to clean and figure out their food quality. read more

The food was good. I tried the new chicken nuggets. The two women working the drive through window are very rushed. When I got to the window to pay and they started to give me my order, it was not the nuggets, but a sandwich. The women at the window caught it before she handed me my food and called out the employee that passed the food. This is the second time this happens on us getting the wrong food today. I caught it early before I left the window but last week my daughter went and had to drive back around and the woman behind the glass told the other girl I'm not dealing with this I already gave her the wrong food so now you deal with it which doesn't seem like it's very professional to me. read more

Customer Service: I recently went through the drive through and ordered a $20 fill up box. upon receiving my food I check and see it is different than the description online. I then gave the establishment a call. I spoke with a girl by the name of Kayley or Hailey . She proceeded to tell me that "in this day and age the app is different from in store" she spoke with an extremely rude and abrupt manner. I then simply professionally overlooked her lack of customer service skills and resulted to trying to get an understanding and simply explaining why its imperative these things are communicated at the store. She interrupted me and stated "well you should've ordered on the app then" and disconnected the call on me. The severe lack of simple customer service skills and compassion , patience and explanation was the absolute most disappointing experience I have had. I am not one to believe "the customer is always right" but I strongly believe and urge establishments to ensure their staff is kind to the customers. it's basic entry level common courtesy to be kind to someone who is kind to you. My family stopped here and I had asked them to pick up a pot pie. The location was out of pies so they brought home a "Famous" bowl which I have never had before. I hope this was not an example of what they usually contain because there was nothing that could be described as popcorn chicken in this bowl. It looked like bits of the junk that ends up on the bottom of the fryer after frying the large pieces of chicken. It was awful. The colonel would be ashamed. read more

In dire need of food, and no where else to turn before my Chiro visit, I stopped into KFC and got myself one of their $5 boxes. For $5 I got 3 chicken strips, a Mashed potatoes and gravy, a cookie and a drink. That's a pretty decent deal, if you ask me. I ordered online, and saw that the order was completed, but when I arrived to pick up my order the doors were locked and a sign said they were closed, even though they don't close until 11. I went through the drive through to see about the order I paid for and showed completed. They rudely told me they were closed. I tried to ask about my order, but was again told they were closed. I had to interrupt to ask about the order I already paid for, and I was told I would have to contact customer service to get a refund and they were closed. I asked about the order that was completed, but interrupted that they were closed and I could contact customer service for a refund. I emailed customer service, and filled out their contact page online. I received an email with my case # "a member of the KFC Guest Services team will respond to you shortly." That all happened July 14th. It is July 27th and still no contact! I called customer service on the phone, was placed on hold several times, and when I was given to someone who could help it was VERY hard to hear and understand them with such loud background noise and wind/static. We attempted to confirm my order info once again (gave all info to others on the call already) and I was told that I would be contacted by the leadership team, but there was no estimate when that would be and if it has been "too long" I could call back and they would raise the level of my case. I ordered from this KFC yesterday through Uber eats and the food never showed. I figured I would try it again today seeing how it was the drivers fault the food wasn't delivered. Today my order arrived missing the Mac and Cheese I ordered and I have to tell the chicken was absolutely horrible!!! Over cooked and dry as a bone. You know that childhood memory you have of your favorite restaurants...!? Well, forget your recollection of KFC as a child. Stopped in for a to go lunch and ordered the fill up boxes, 1 chicken breast and 1 tenders. The tenders were thin and tough with very little meat. The potato/gravy was bland and lifeless also very little gravy. They also forgot to put the butter in the boxes for our biscuits. :( The food was cool by the time I got home (5 minutes drive.) Staff did remind me to do the survey and get a free Gocup with purchase of a drink. Since I am moving this week I will more than likely stop by and buy a drink for my free lunch meal. Referring to KFC Store #L747030 Highway 19 N, Tarpon Springs Florida 727.938.3927 NOT the one in Palm Harbor. Last Sunday night we had a sudden yearning for extra crispy Kentucky Fried Chicken... had to have it, so we visited the KFC in our neighborhood. We normally don't indulge in such, but this was just one of those nights when we wanted something satisfying. After we ordered, I walked outside and took another look at the store sign to reconfirm I was really in a KFC (hehehehehehe). DAAAAA service was incredible! Couldn't really believe it, the young man servicing us was the kind of persona a business wants to steal way from a competitor. It is people like this that set businesses apart. I assumed he was a non professional, armed only with whatever KFC employee training provides. Being that I deal exclusively with FOH customer service/customer loyalty, Thomas pretty much blew me away with his stature and sales penache. So what set me off, to go so far as to Yelp KFC? Well it was the unexpected level of service, one does not expect to receive at a fast food counter. ~ It was the soft sell and not the dull scripted cyborg sell. ~ It was his tenure and sincerity. ~ It was the fact that he "focused" on getting the order right the first time. ~ Thomas transmitted the importance HE held in pleasing us. ~ Thomas was neat and well groomed, and his nails were clean. ~ Thomas took time to explain the differences in the menu, pinging the 10 piece special, regardless of the fact that a small line had formed behind us. ~ It was the fact that he CARED!!! I was going to kfc because I got a free go cup by putting in the code on my receipt by doing the survey and I came across this sign that's always in the window but never really read it until now. Then I had a problem with my meal it was just completely screwed up. So I brought it up and told them to get it right. They completely denied me. Then on my way out I realized there was fine print on the sign.. ALWAYS read the print at the bottom. It reads "Kfc may cancel or modify the guarantee at any time for any reason." So technically their "colonel quality guarantee" isn't a guarantee. I was starving so I ate what I got, the food quality was decent for what kind of fast food place it is. read more

pretty sad meal we had. Never had this problem before at this location. I think its because we took it out and couldn"t complain right away. Ordered the five dollar menu. was told couldnt get a breast with that. .Huh?? then ordered two extra cole slaws.. got one. got one bisquit for two orders.. chicken tenders were so tough even my dog would NOT eat it. sad.. my chicken breast was not cooked all the way thru.. worst meal we have ever had. no bbq sauce.. and staff acted like we asked for a million bucks.. too bad .. probably wont eat there again. Leaving 4 stars since we use this location a lot. We used to have problems here with mess-ups on food orders but it has gotten better over the years. We always get the 2-piece with 2 sides, can't really go wrong there. Today we had the leg & thigh 2 piece & the seasoning was great, its like they changed it or something, with all the new commercials goes around, I would not be surprised. They have turned around this store and it should be a model for the rest of the chain. They are fast, friendly and accurate. I always hesitate when placing any order at any fast food restaurant because accuracy is often problematic. I have visited this store both inside and using the drive thru over the past month and each and every time the order was completed quickly and accurately. The food is hot and served well. The manager(s) should be recognized because they certainly have got this place running as what one would expect. read more

Ok, fine dining this is not, but I really do like KFC. I had a large order so I called the day before and asked if we could sub one of the sides. I spoke with the manager and she said no problem and thanked me for choosing her restaurant. The next day I called to place the order and Darlene took the order, she thanked me for calling ahead, made sure everything was correct and above all provided great service! One of the items were 9 tenders, I didn't know what sauces people would want, so she gave me some of each. Thanks KFC Palm Harbor, we will be back! read more

Love the chicken, love the sides... Having said that.... When you walk into this store, nobody is standing by the counter to greet you or take your order. I waited until I had to yell for someone to wait on me. Then I was worried to order anything because it appeared that the kids working were not thrilled that I had to speak loudly for them to understand that someone was in the store. Waited about 25 minutes for the food. Not going back and it is a shame because the food is good. I did call the franchisees and got to speak to a manager, who basically treated me the same way her employees did. I have to think that it is the ownership that is a problem in this particular location. Not very smart, not very fast, and most certainly not very courteous. With soooo many other food options, Why would anybody waste their time in this location. Train your managers, train your workers, or just shut it down. There is a good reason there are never any cars in your parking lot. read more
