It was a little bit of a challenge finding Piper's. It's hidden in a portion of a strip mall that folds back. Let me say it was worth the hunt to find. The workers seemed fun & personable. I watched the dough tossed & spun in the air. 20 minutes later we had a delicious NY style pepperoni pizza. The cheese & sauce were 100% on point. The pizza could be folded, & it dripped a little oil, as it should. The crust was crunchy & chewy which is always nice. And the taste was perfect. I have no idea who voted but I recently got pizza from this establishment and 2 others in Palm Harbor, Gino's, and Pizza Joe, Pipers came in last! I ordered bacon and sausage, major flavor, but not that great. I've given this place multiple tries but am thoroughly not impressed. Didn't even look, or taste, like there was bacon on it. And that that they have been making them together as a family ever since. You can taste the difference starting with their scratch made dough and sauce. Both times I've have had it so far the balance of dough to sauce to ingredients ratio (which is so key to a good bite) have been perfect. We ordered two pizzas from here the other night. I thought that they were really good. The first was the Chicken bacon ranch one. Super legit reminds me of my favorite chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The other was the swirl margarita. Which looks cool but felt the flavor was a bit lacking. My take on it is that is tasted like a legit cheesy garlic bread with a vodka like marinara and pesto swirl. We ordered extra red sauce that really helped make our better. I thought the crust was a bit dense but good. We also got a salad, we really didn't like the dressing. It was oddly sweet. We would definitely get food from here again but we have other places that we prefer in the area. Good place though so do not hesitate to try it out. read more

Piper took our order and was extremely welcoming and friendly, freely answering our questions and making recommendations. We ordered the garlic knots (fresh garlic) with house made sauce. Superb! We followed that with the "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere" pizza. Homemade dough and house sauce and fresh tomatoes and basil make this pizza a flavor bomb! The friendly atmosphere and staff make this a "must try" place in the Palm Harbor/Clearwater area. It can be difficult to spot from US 19, but it is well worth the effort. Also order a Stromboli with pepperoni, sausage and ham, oh so good. Yes, we got some meatballs which were big and flavorful. The service was great and the folks were nice. I eat a lot of pizza. More than one person should. I've eaten pizza all over the world. And I can say this objectively is fantastic pizza. There's not a ton of seating, but would encourage people to eat in at least once. Everyone was super friendly. Even though it seems like a mostly take out place they checked in on us multiple times. Offered water / treats / water for our dog. I also think at the end of the night (just before closing) one of the younger employee's shift ended, and the owner(?) walked her to her car. If I wasn't just passing through, I'd be here every week. This place has amazing pizza and more importantly seem to treat their employees well. They 100% deserve your business read more
