The french fries here are always extremely soggy and full of grease. It's like they just plop them in the bag with all the grease it's all over the bag ....when you eat them it's just like eating a piece of grease with a squishy potato.. I also ordered a little cheeseburger when I bit into it. I had some kind of hard piece of bone or something in it and that grossed me out after spending $20 on a stupid little burger and some greasy fries. I don't think I'll ever come back here again and on top of that the kids that were running this place last night we're acting very unprofessional and cutting up and I didn't even feel comfortable eating my food read more

Always a great burger! Super friendly service. I miss them being able to make the fries extra crispy, but of course they're still tasty. Not sure why they had to change it. It's disappointing they don't get better reviews. I love their fries and burgers. They are some of the friendlier staffs than most "fast food" establishments. I ordered the cheeseburger all the way and the hamburger all the way for my brother. I also ordered the Med fries. They were still hot when I got home, I was eating them right out of the bag. After church family lunch, this time my wife, granddaughter, her friend and myself. The girl's begging for burgers and fries. So we decided to try 5 guys. Arriving about 12:30, the parking lot was mostly empty. Turns out good timing because when we left the lot was full. Over to the ordering station we glanced at menu though I had already checked it online A bit on the expensive side at $10.29 for a Cheeseburger. Probably because you can add any or all the 15 toppings at no extra charge. My wife and I got a Small (1 patty) Cheeseburger with the regular toppings plus jalapeños. Granddaughter got the same and requested lots of pickles. Her friend got a Double Cheeseburger plain. We also got drinks for wife and I and milkshakes for the girls. Again, a hefty $5.19 for a shake. Also for that you can have any or all of the 9 item adds. I was disappointed that each only chose 1 item. And we ordered a large $6.19 Fries to share. Drinks were self serve. Milkshakes came quickly. After a few minutes wait our meals arrived. Granddaughter was disappointed that her burger the same amount of pickles. Burgers were ok, nothing very special. I can't imagine more than the regular toppings - you would need a plate with knife and fork! Our Jalapeños were very mild, fresh instead of pickled would be better. Fries were ok but no better than most fast food restaurants. I was surprised at the amount of fries. They filled a large cup plus enough loose in the bag to fill another large cup. Can't go wrong with these hamburgers. You have so many options of what you want on your burger. Every five Guy I've been in always have plenty of employees. You don't have a wait. They have your food ready pretty quick. They cook it when you order so it's not one of those places that the meat is cooked and the add what you want to it. The dining area is quiet big. Haven't been to a Five Guys in ages so we opted to stop here in the way to pick up the beau. The place was spick and span, almost gleaming when we walked in on a moderately busy Sunday afternoon. We placed orders for a Bacon burger and a Bacon Cheese burger, a small order of fries and two drinks. We would eat in. We were given our drinks and we filled them at the drink stations and took our seats. We waited about 5 minutes and our food was ready. Everything was hot and well made. I have had a lot of burgers including shake shack, In N Out and burger fi and this one is hands down the BEST PLACE FOR A FAST FOOD BURGER! Legit the ingredients are so fresh and I love that you can grab some gold old fashion peanuts while you wait for your food to be ready. The waits are usually short The prices might be higher than McDonald's but it's worth every penny. The party's are thin and fresh and the Cajun fries are incredible!!! Everything is seasoned perfectly and the portions are extremely generous! Five Guys is my go-to place and no one can ever replace it. read more

I did an online order because I was in a hurry. My order was suppose to be ready at 6:54 pm. I arrived at 6:55 pm. I didn't receive my food until 7:13 pm. 5 customers came in after I did, ordered , and received their food before I did. by the time I got home with my burger was cold like it had been sitting there for 15 minutes because it probably was. I wouldn't call this my normal Five Guys location, but it is somewhat close to where I work so I switched it up one day and drove a few extra miles to this location. As soon as I walked in I got stuck behind a family of six that had absolutely no idea what they wanted to order. As soon as an additional employee realized this he immediately gave me the nod, stopped what he was doing and took my order. I applaud this employee for not only great awareness and customer service, but for using common sense. My order was placed in under a minute and I went over to pick out a seat. I walked over to the fountain area, filled up my cup, got some napkins and before I knew it my food was ready. Unlike the other Five Guy's locations this one doesn't offer the Coke Freestyle machine. I'm no regular at Five Guys, although I have been there a fair share of times throughout the years. This was by far the quickest I have ever had a burger come out from the kitchen. I might also add that this was during a lunch rush on a weekend and the restaurant was 80% full. My burger was good and piled high with the desired toppings. My Cajun fries lacked seasoning and almost tasted like the regular ones. I would have liked a little more seasoning on them. Like I mentioned, I don't come here often because the prices are a tad high for what you get, but next time I'm feeling a burger I will drive a few extra miles to this location. read more

Five guys is the best as far as fast food. There is no burger or order of fries in the world of fast food that is superior to five guys in taste and quality. With that said, it is fast food... just fast food with higher quality and bigger servings. If you go in expecting fast food you will be pleasantly surprised. If you go in expecting restaurant quality then you might be a little let down. This location is nice, the employees are consistent so you see the same faces. I imagine they also recognize some of the customers after a while due to this. My only hint to this is they stopped warning me about the portion sizes for their fries. Usually they have a, "medium is for two people" comment but I haven't heard that one in a while despite still ordering mediums for myself. Overall, good chain and good location. read more

What can I say, my neck of the woods FINALLY has a Five Guys! Forget New Year's resolutions about dieting, it's time to chow down on FGs burgers and fries. I'm a fan of Five Guys, which in my experience usually serves up better product than its competitors. Yes, it's more expensive, but I've always found it worth it. I can usually find a burger served up in a local restaurant that is as good or better, but that's really no comparison to Five Guys competition, in my opinion. And for my taste, Five Guys fries are what really set the company apart from other fast food joints. If you've eaten at Five Guys, you'll find this store is just like other FGs, serving up juicy burgers (made from beef ground in the store daily) and thick steak-cut fries (made from fresh whole potatoes). And this FG store is a welcome addition to the Boot Ranch area of Palm Harbor, which has a dearth of burger places to choose from. It's location is really extraordinary. at the intersection of McMullen Booth, Tampa Rd. and Curlew. I can hardly imagine a fast food restaurant that has a higher daily traffic count in Pinellas County. And it's end-of-plaza walls carrying 4 massive Five Guys signs exposed simultaneously those 3 roads give it about 10 times more advertising space than the Target store in the same plaza. Opening less than a week ago, it's been packed every single night with hungry patrons. When I visited last night, over the course of eating my meal there was usually ~15-20 people waiting in line to order. I've never been in a FG this busy. But fortunately, the management has already pulled together a tight ship, with at least 15 employees/worker bees scurrying non-stop to keep up with the demand. The two employees working in the dining room full time cleaning up tables really helped keep things running, too. Given the very few nights they've been open, my hat's off to the management, as the store was running like it had been open several years. I ordered my favorite combination of small burger with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, green peppers and barbecue sauce. Considering the number of people, my meal came out in a bit more than 5 minutes which seemed pretty prompt, and definitely not longer than my average FG wait. One of my minor complaints about Five Guys is that the burgers are often so moist the the bun just falls apart and you're left trying to hold together a mess of meat and veggies bare handed. There was no such problem with this burger, which had all of the juice in the beef patty, and the bun held together down to the last bite. And my other quibble about FG's fries is that there often a bit too greasy. But again, this order served up fries that were perfectly cooked, and the relatively dry outside held together the potato flesh that was cooked just right. Even though the store was packed, tables turned over pretty quickly, Fortunately, this location is blessed with a good number of tables outside and under roof. Even on a night that was a bit chilly and rainy, it would still be a comfortable spot for a quick meal. If I gain back all the weight I lost last year, you can be sure it will be Five Guys fault. Five Guys has the kind of burger I dream about: thick, juicy patty, grilled to perfection, and covered with cheese. I also love that they have A1 as a condiment you can add. If you're the squeaky clean type, then these burgers are not for you. I personally enjoy diving in, knowing full well that at least a handful of napkins will be needed after noshing on one of these bun-clad beauties. They also have delicious fries in generous portions, and if you like vinegar on them they've got that here too. No, the prices aren't the cheapest, but until I find a burger I enjoy as much as Five Guys', this place is going to stay as my favorite. read more

We went to this place on a whim since I kept hearing the hype about it. I was less than impressed. The burgers are fresh since they make everything right then when you order and you watch them make it. But honestly it tasted just like a burger I got from Wendy's. The fries were also lack luster. Overly greasy for a French fry and had no salt or taste. We went at around 3pm so it was really hot outside. If you sit next to the windows inside, it is really too hot. Best part was the staff was very friendly and the peanuts they serve with your meal were tasty. Waaaay to greasy, they put this greasy burger in tin foil and within seconds your bun is soggy and gross. Don't ask for onions cuz you'll get a whole one on your burger (EVERY TIME, EVERY LOCATION). Way over priced, a small burger, fries and a drink coast $11! I can hire a Chinese guy to make my own burger at home for 1/2 that price. Burger Mongler is the same price for a regular sized burger fry and drink and its so much better.
