This location is known for not giving you a correct order but being stuck in the drive through for 35+ minutes tops that for me. I placed an online order at 9:00 PM and when I arrived at the store the lobby was closed and there were two cars in the drive through before the speaker. I got in line and waited 15 minutes to get to the speaker to tell them that I had already ordered. We then sat another 20+ minutes before I got to the window to receive my cold food. If I wasn't viscerally opposed to littering I would have thrown it on the ground in the parking lot before going home. I should note that one of the employees had to slowly walk a female employee to her car 20' from the front door in a well lit parking lot with a line of cars out of the drive through and then slowly walk back inside (I hope that was his 15 minute break because he almost used every second of it with this little jaunt). If you don't have proper staffing to operate the restaurant then close early. I would have been happier not being able to get chicken than buying cold chicken and warm coleslaw. read more

I ordered two 8 pc bucket meals to be picked up at 12:30 on xmas eve. It didn't appear to be overly busy. One bucket had 4 drums & 4 thighs as I ordered. The second bucket had 2 drums, 1 thigh, 4 wings & 1breast ( poor substitute for as all dark meat that I ordered) I would have waited for a proper order if asked but no offer was made. This is a typical Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food restaurant. It's fast, greasy, and not either consistently good or bad. I've actually never been in the restaurant but have been through the drive through a few times. It moves very quickly and the folks at the window are respectful. The really good thing is they've never messed up my order and that I always get what I order. Unlike other restaurants where sometimes I get home and it's not what I thought I ordered in my bag. I don't like their crispy chicken, so I never get it. The regular chicken is good sometimes but always too salty. I love mashed potatoes and gravy and when they do their gravy properly it's actually pretty good. However, sometimes the gravy is too thin and it's not very good. The biscuits are always consistently good. So this place is never really a destination. It is sometimes a place that I turn into because it's on my way to somewhere else and it's convenient enough. read more

Ain't no shortage for a line of chicken. Coming back to the city after a 6 hour drive, I just wanted something quick and easy. Kid wanted KFC, so here I am. First there was a line for the drive thru, I think it was 12 cars deep and spilling over into the street. Me being the "I don't like the drive thru guy" I know you all read my reviews on drive thru's, walked into the store. Going in the store meant mobile pickup or delivery only. Having neither, I just went back to my car, downloaded the KFC app, and ordered. Quick and easy. The reason for no dine in was because they didn't have enough bodies to even attend a register. I waited like 5 mins chilling while watching all the cars jock for position to order. After 5 mins, walked in got my order (they were really busy but took time to acknowledge me and apologized for the wait) and walked out. Overall four stars. Really it's KFC, so I enjoyed it. My order was correct, and the staff (even swamped with orders and short staffed) took time to be cordial to me. Plus the app was easy to navigate. Now excuse me, time to get relax. M read more

I went to the KFC in Silverdale on Sunday Dec. 24, 2023 around 3:00 pm, to pick up a HUGE online order. I was having a very busy and hectic day when I pulled up to the drive through speaker. I was greeted by a very happy and cheerful lady who seemed to be filled with joy. Just hearing her happy voice made me feel better. When I pulled up to the window, I told her I would park in front of the store and walk in to get my six bags of food. I told her I had no problem making two trips to my car, since there were so many bags. Before I could even get out of my car, she came running out with both arms and hands full of my order bags! She put them into my car trunk and was very happy and cheerful the whole time. I thanked her and after she went back inside, I started to check my order, since it was so big. It took me a few minutes to check everything and I was almost done, when the nice lady came out to check on me. She seemed genuinely concerned and wanted to know if everything was OK. I was so happy to receive such outstanding customer service from this person! I deeply regret that I didn't even think to get her name... Hard to give a fair review when this is the only KFC in the area. Service is always slow and employees have frequent loud cuss filled arguments in the kitchen that can be heard anywhere in the restaurant. I placed an online order. My husband waited more than 20 minutes past the time that the order was supposed to be ready. The order was not complete. I called the customer service number and spoke to someone who did not speak English very well. He kept asking me questions about the time that I placed the order when he had the information in front of him. After a long conversation I was put on hold listening to loud rap music. When he finally returned to the phone I was transferred to the refund department. Again a long hold and more loud music and then another person who did not speak proper English. I had to ask him to slow down and repeat himself. There was a sentence spoken by both men about empathy for my situation but it was out of context. There must be a script of some sort that they both used telling me they were also customers like me. I did not care. I just wanted a refund and to be done with the calls. The food that we got tasted great. I recommend that you check your bag to make sure that you leave there with everything that you have paid for. If you're feeling that itch for KFC I highly recommend you drive five more minutes to the Bremerton location. I went through the drive through for two chicken bowls and two sandwiches. The bowls had maybe a half a spoon of gravy combined. Not to mention the chicken tasted like croutons. The saving grace for this review was that the employees seemed nice and the sandwich wasn't bad even though bbq sauce was covering the entire inside of the wrap. Overall disappointing and i plan on taking that extra five minutes to drive to the other KFC now...I mean is it really TOO much to ask that a chicken place puts decent chicken in the product they serve? read more

Two stars are for the sides and the biscuit. I haven't been to a KFC in awhile, and may be longer after this visit. Let me first start off with the stylish new dining area, what an upgrade, looks great. Very clean and inviting. Greeted with a smile and great attitude, thank you Ashley for making dining at fast food pleasant. I got the 2 piece Original Recipe with coleslaw. It's sad that I can get better more flavorful, juicy chicken at a grocery store. Maybe my palette has changed in my later years but dry is dry. The Slaw is as great as I remember and the biscuit fluffy and buttery. Also ordered was a 5 piece Hot Wings. Okay now these were juicy and flavorful. Call me a hypocrite when it comes to hormones in our food. But dang did these wings come off pigeons? Lots of flavor in a small package, glad I got them, they made up for the other chicken. When I got home, I discovered that they not only gave me 3 breasts instead of dark meat, they only gave me 6 pieces of crispy chicken. Silverdale employees are so nice. They greet you right away. I was standing behind two people in line. One of the employees, that was cleaning off the tables , welcomed me. The line went fast and I was surprised to get my food so quickly. The drive-thru was busy as usual with people getting off work. However, the car line was going faster than I expected. I drove from Kingston to Silverdale today at 4 pm to get some chicken. Ordered the 8 pc with 2 large sides and 4 biscuits. I asked for extra crispy. All they had was white meat so I said ok $31.00 I got home and looked at the chicken I could have gotten better chicken at a gas station. The extra crispy chicken I use to buy was no where to be found. Not sure how they prepared this but I think they forgot the coating. The wings were like jerky and the breasts were not much better.
