She was truly one of the nicest, professional people I have encountered in fast food. She went beyond to make my visit wonderful. Wel I get you want to have fun at work. However the employees here are too far out from the Midwest standards of customer service I guess. Today the person taking our order says "welcome to Popeyes " twice then tells us the item we ordered isn't served at Popeyes. True. I wanted a famous bowl and I was at KFC. I guess next time I will just go to Popeyes if it's all the same to the people who work there. Last time they goofed around for 10 minutes before taking the order and no one is wearing a uniform or looking very neat. These days we have limited options to get fast food due to staffing and hours. And everything costs more so I have a limited budget for eating out anyway. Ordered 3 piece tenders combo w/Dr. Pepper in Drive-Thru around 1:20PM. Only item that was fresh was the Dr. Pepper. I opened up the box: French fries were cold and soggy, biscuit was dry, the 3 pieces of tenders... cold and rubbery. I just wanted something fresh to eat. Money completed wasted. Nothing was fresh and I had to throw it all out. I would like a refund except the guy wearing the mouth mask who was covered from head to toe (inclu his face) of tattoos -- which is fine, but I was simply describing his looks, again not judging but he seemed "new", he did not give me my receipt, to take back my food. Ridiculous. I did contact www.kfc.com to make a formal complaint and to ask for a refund there, but who knows if anyone will respond. We're done trying to get chicken here. We've tried several times and they are either out of chicken or they screw up the order. It's unbelievable that KFC's parent company allows one of their franchises to operate in this manner. We gave them one last chance today, in hopes the service miraculously got better. We requested a ten-piece bucket and the attendant advised we needed a "coupon." We said we would just pay for it without a coupon. Get this, the attendant literally told us he could not sell us the chicken without the coupon! To clarify, I asked, "so you will not sell us chicken, unless we have a coupon?" The attendant said, "no." Absurd business practices and untrained people. We will never go here again. We have been burned too many times and nothing changes. Surprised they stay afloat with this type of service. Go down the block to Pizza Ranch. Service is good and they actually have chicken to sell you. read more

Doesn't even deserve one star. I've written a review of this place before. I refuse to eat there anymore. But, my mother-in-law (being on a restricted diet until surgery), simply wanted mashed potatoes. My fiance went through drive thru. Halfway through her order they stopped talking. Confused, we drove up to the window. The employee opened the window laughing and said "we're closed", and then slammed the window shut. They close at 10. It was about 9:45. We waited hoping for a manager. The manager walks up to the window and starts laughing while the employee takes out her phone and starts recording. Now 15 before close I can understand not wanting to take anymore order, but the blatant disrespect shown is rediculous. This KFC is by far THE ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever been to. First approaching the drive through, employees were all hanging outside in a group smoking and cussing. When ordering the order taker was nice and patient. I ordered a 16 pc meal original recipe. Pay for the order and get the food fast from the window, awesome. Get all the way home and the chicken doesn't look right, looks like the crispy recipe but not. Decided to try it and see if we'd like it, and it was flavorless. Fried chicken with no flavor. Upset I had paid nearly $50 for this flavorless meal, I drove back and went inside to show the cashier and ask questions. I told them we'd ordered original and showed her the chicken and she assured me it was. I then stated it taste like it hadn't been seasoned and she told me I don't know what to tell you that's the original recipe. I took the chicken and left. read more

Absolutely unacceptable service from both the drive through attendant as well as the manager. When we questioned our bill, both simply stared at the receipt and offered no explanation as to why it was so high. The manager walked away from the window twice, in the middle of the conversation. Tonight, we ordered through the drive through and were put off by the person taking our order snapping at the customer at the window to "wait a minute and I will get your drink", then asking for our order to not mute the headset and again attend to the customer at the window while we attempted to place our order repeatedly. Arriving to the window we were told by the male worker to "wait up a minute, my boss needed me to ask you something but I forgot". He did eventually come back and ask if it was ok to "mix your chicken" as they were low on crispy. At this time we were beyond unimpressed with how things have been but too late to leave. We told him it was fine to give us what was available as we had been waiting and he wasn't sure how to read the order screen and kept asking for help. All of this is understand, that is why we didn't make it complicated or complain about the chicken issue. Purchasing your biggest family meal isn't cheap by any means but you pay for the convenience of dinner made for you. I also understand this....what I can't understand is why he tied a very large bag in knots and handed it to us after our wait. Then asked why we were sitting at the window. We hadn't PAID YET!? I explained we hadn't paid the $55/60 for our meals and he was obvilious he gave our food with no payment. We waited for him to run my card after telling him we wanted to pay...I asked and wasn't able to get a receipt. This is nerve wrecking as there were already so many errors and mistakes happening. The female behind the scenes was trying to get all 3 of the male workers to understand what was happening and seemed frazzled. We left and drove home (10 miles from Sioux Falls, 20 minute drive with late Friday evening traffic). We got home to find we didn't have ANY of our SIDES?! We paid a good amount of money for dinner for 6 people, 3 kids...now I didn't have their food. I called them to have the male answer the phone with "yeah, we know who you are, we forgot your food at the drive through, hold up and let me get my mom"...after this he doesn't put me on hold but openly shouts to his mom who is clearly still trying to organize the mess there. Explaining "that lady is on the phone and she lives out of town what do you want me to tell her" and then returns on the line to tell me to come back to Sioux Falls and pick it up, they have it "waiting for me still in the bag". This worker's "mom" gets on the phone and tells me that she is very aware of who we were and she knows I "paid a lot of money" to come back to Sioux Falls and it's waiting....I explained I am already out of town, at my home and I shouldn't have to check my bags, and my kids need to eat so I fed them my meal. I work customer service. Mistakes happen but the followup is what angers me so much. I wasn't listened to, I was told blankly that they could "write my name in a note book and on a return visit" I could have my sides?! How on earth does that feed my kids now? How can this make any sense to help me after my time, gas to drive and I worked all day tired with angry kids wanting food? I explained that I would come back to Sioux Falls to speak with management calmly about this in person. She agreed to speak with me when I came back. I arrived and went inside. NO ONE was at the counter with a line of 3 customers waiting ahead of us. We waited some time and the man ahead of us let us go first. We quietly said we were there to speak to a manager about our order and the male with glasses at the counter turned and SCREAMED to the kitchen for the manger. This scene was very uncomfortable and not necessary. She came to the counter and said "yes, you need your sides" then called for another woman to explain where the "bag of sides went", they got the bag out of a, warmer of sorts....Not fresh food by now it's been an hour, but the same left on the side of the counter bag of food. Then opened that said bag and stuffed a hand full of cookies in the bag on our sides....asking if we wanted any other sides and a brief sorry for that and turned away not even looking me in the face or talking to me. I am a deeply understanding person, busy times, forgetting is human and even perhaps new workers in training? I don't know but what I do know is that I too work a very demanding, hard to please customer service job and I would never fail to apply L.E.A.R.N to make a customer know I have empathy and understand the stress and disappointment when an error occurs. I don't ask for much, my money's worth of fresh, safe to eat food to give my kids. I work very hard for my money and I don't recommend this place to anyone. Customers in the food industry have MANY options to give our hard earned money to. You won't get a penny more from us ever again. read more

There was a time when hearing that we were having KFC for dinner was an immaculate chorus ringing in my ears. That time was back around the same time that Nintendo was announcing the Game Boy Advance. Since then, KFC has been on a steady decline all around. The food has grown bland, the restaurant has been neglected by the staff in regards to cleaning, and there's just no soul in it anymore. Forget America. Make KFC Great Again. read more

If i could give less then one star I would. I have tried KFC for the last time. I grew up loving their food, but in the past 2 years it has gone down hill. My food didn't come for 30 min. There was one other table in the restaurant, but they ordered after us. Our meal that took 30 min to make was disgusting chili fries that had my friend and I on the toilet all night long, and a smoothie. 30 min. The smoothie was alright. But the service was terrible, and the food incredibly discusting. Our tray came with our nasty fries a smoothie, and a bunch of water. We had to remove our food go to the trash and poor water off the tray. KFC should not be in business read more
