What Famous Daves calls burnt ends

One of the worst dining experiences food wise that I have had in a long long time. Burnt Ends are not fatty brisket with BBQ sauce on it. When I told them these were not acceptable, they said they would bring me new ones. 2nd try fatty brisket with burnt BBQ sauce. You do know that making burnt ends happens in the smoker where the fatty part turns crispy and burnt. You did injustice to that animal that you cooked up.

Many years ago I got introduced to Famous Dave's when a location was in my area. The location has since closed down but whenever I have the opportunity, I will always make time or find a reason to go to one. Even if I've just gotten done with a meal and I see one down the road I find it hard to not go in. Famous Dave's is a chain. You can't deny that. But as far as BBQ Chains go, Famous Dave's has it going on! Sure, independent places are typically the best when you're looking for the best in BBQ. But, when you're looking for one in an area where they typically won't have one offs, Famous Dave's is the place to be. I always get the ribs. Usually the baby back ribs. For the sides, I'm a big fan of their coleslaw. Somewhat sweet and very creamy. Their cornbread muffins are also excellent. The downside to the corn bread muffins is that they're usually not warm. I prefer them a little warm. The beans are good also. The beauty of Famous Dave's is this: whether you are in South Dakota, Michigan, Kentucky or any other state, when you walk into a Famous Dave's you know what you're getting into. Would I go back? Damn! I wish I could get to one right now! I've been talking about it long enough now I got a taste for them. I'M HUNGRY!!!!!

Service was exceptional. Ambiance was fun. Pulled pork was very tasty with lots of choices for sauces. Was not a fan of the ribs. Chicken was super moist. Sides were all tasty.

Brisket, ribs, Wibur's beans, cornbread muffin, & coleslaw.

What's Famous Dave,s? Oh it's a bbq place. What's Wilbur beans? Did you say grandpa's beans? Wait...you mean you haven't been to Famous Dave's? OMG...What seasonings did you use on the smoked pork chops that are on the bbq grill? Duh...it's Famous Dave's seasoning! They smell so good the neighbors are going to be jealous (lucky for us they weren't home)! I have to say I thought the brisket was going to be take a bite and pull,., nope! The brisket was like butter soft, smoked perfectly and very tasty. The Wilbur beans are the best beans I've ever had with chunks of meat & sauce not too sweet,..just right (maybe they should be called Goldilocks beans cause they were just right). The ribs were delicious too & the cornbread wasn't crumbly & the honey was real honey (not some fake corn syrup crap). Going to have to order some food to go home with me & Purchase some seasonings for my bbq grilling at home. Not to shabby for a first timer.

Quick and always tasty. I am not from the Sioux Falls area, but I am familiar with the chain. Always a reliable choice.

Portion size sucks. Ordered the St. Louis ribs literally got three bites of meat. Never left here still hungry in my life. Won't be back.

We arrived for our reservation and were seated at a table that wouldn't allow a high chair by restaurant rules. We were moved to a much smaller table that couldn't accommodate the 5 of us. The table was also located directly under a very loud speaker and a television. When asked if this table was ok, we stated our concerns that the table was very small and that our family couldn't hear each other due to the speaker. The hostess said it was all they could do. We decided to give it a chance as it was our first time here. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the chicken honey almond penne. Husband says the pulled pork itself was good but the onion rings inside the sandwich were stale making the sandwich feel past expiration. My penne was completely over cooked to the point where the chicken was more of a jerky consistency and the pasta was disintegrating if you tried to use your fork to collect it. Our other guests enjoyed the steak stating it was ok. From the start with our requests for accommodation being ignored to finish with possibly the worst dishes I've ever overpaid for, this experience was one I never would wish on anybody.

The jambalaya is by far the best in town. Great drink selection as well. We love the atmosphere and will recommend Grille 26 to our friends. My wife had the quesadilla meal and said it was very good too. We also split a Caesar side salad. Great flavor!

One look at the menu was an epiphany... a rare, if not the only, time I could not find a single item I didn't want to order. The ambience is rustic central plains frontier. The food is expertly prepared and the wood-fired and house-smoked menu items were the highlight. HIGHLY recommend! (BTW, I had the smoked biscuit with a side of bourbon glazed Brussel Sprouts..Mmmm)

Straight ahead by a large open bar, you can see the meat on the rotisserie. Restaurant is large and cozy. Dark woods, modern lighting, many booths with ample seating. Floors are concrete and many nature pictures line the walls. This place has everything from handheld sandwiches to salmon and rotisserie chicken, a broad selection of appetizers and soups and salad salads. I ordered a Guinness draft and it came in a very large glass. Many tap beers to choose from. We ordered the woodfired chicken wings, a rotisserie chicken, which is accompanied with mashed potatoes and cornbread, and my husband also ordered a cup of corn chowder. The chicken wings I thought were delicious. The flavor is smoky and pepper. Not your traditional wing, but it includes the drumstick and the wing. You get six in total. It comes with blue cheese and ranch. My husband did not care for the wings. He thought they had too much of a pepper taste. My only concern was they were not served hot. They were barely warm when they got to my table. The blue cheese dressing was basically ranch dressing with a few dry blue cheese crumbles mixed in. Not a good flavor. The corn chowder was very mushy. It had the texture of baby food. He did not enjoy it. It also was served warm and not hot. Rotisserie chicken comes out with a thigh and drumstick of dark meat and white meat. However, the chicken is very dry. Taste like rotisserie chicken should taste But nothing special. The mashed potatoes are not creamy. But clumpy. They are red skin and I love when the skin is left on the potatoes. However, they taste like a baked Redskin potato with no salt, pepper, or butter. Flavorless. The cornbread has good flavor. But again, try. There is no butter to accompany it. Might taste good with some honey or butter on the side. I love the look and coziness of the restaurant. I wanted it to be fantastic. I was extremely disappointed in the food. I tried to make it work, but with the cold food and the lack of flavor, it was a big miss. When you take a bite of rotisserie chicken, and then you need to take a drink before taking your next bite of food, you know it is dry. When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Sioux Falls Falls do not ROAM to this restaurant. I would not come back to this restaurant. I would give it 2 stars for the food. However, Darla was our waitress and she was very kind and attentive. She gets a five star rating. But the good service does not balance out the awful food.
