We still didn't get our food after about 30 minutes, so asked a manager to check in our food for us. A few minutes later, she brought our food. The mashed potatoes were piping hot and the prime rib was close to cold. She took our food back and several minutes later, brought new plates of food. The meat was slightly warmer, but definitely not hot. Then, the pay kiosk didn't work. The waitress brought our bill and it included a $1.99 charge for the kiosk that we never used! Our visit here was kind of a mixed bag . We ordered a family meal to go and the food was ready when they said it would be . They have good portion sizes here and the price was good. The fries were terrible; how can something be burnt but also oily and soggy? The rest of the food was just ok but they didn't give us any silverware on a family meal. I was starting to become a little disillusioned with Texas Roadhouse steaks lately as the cuts of meat have seemed to be of lower quality over the last year or so. More gristle and fat, and just less wonderful overall. I had noticed this at multiple locations, and was wondering if perhaps they were starting to use lower quality meat to save money. After tonight's meal my faith in Texas Roadhouse has been restored for the time being. On the downside, the floor was super gross with food under the table we were seated at. We also had to ask a passing server for a waiter to be sent to our table as we sat there without anybody showing up for even so much as a drink order about ten minutes. So the food was great. This was helpful in helping us decide which sides we wanted. The bread with whipped cinnamon butter is absolutely divine. I could totally eat an entire basket. I ordered the half slab of ribs; basically what you expect from a family diner type of ribs. The steak fries were soggy and I left them untouched (and fyi, i love steak fries). But on that note I have to say that today, Jesse was absolutely AMAZING! I was not dressed to impress, just casual capris and a tank top. But he treated me as those were in a 5 star place. This has to be the worst customer service my family and I received on May 21 2025 around 9:15 PM. This was, without exaggeration, the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. Upon entering your restaurant with my family of three, we were immediately told by the host that there were no available tables and that there would be a wait. The host then proceeded to speak with the manager to see if we could be accommodated. While we were standing directly in front of the manager, she spoke only to the host and asked, in a dismissive manner, "do they need a table table?" She did not acknowledge us at any point. Despite the host indicating that we did need a table (and noting that we had our two year old with us), we were informed that there would be a 15 to 20-minute wait and they close at 10. We obviously knew what time the facility closed. We clearly heard this entire exchange. Due to this unwelcoming initial interaction, we decided to place a to-go order instead. However, when we approached the designated area and requested menus, the staff member there dismissed us without assistance, so we ultimately left without ordering anything. What was particularly upsetting was that as we were leaving, a party of two white individuals entered the restaurant and were immediately seated. As a mixed-race family, this left us feeling deeply disgusted and discriminated against. Having worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, I was shocked and disappointed to witness this type of behavior from such a well-known chain. This experience was truly disheartening, and I would never want anyone else to feel this way, especially when simply trying to enjoy a family dinner after a long week. Decided to sneak in for an early lunch today after a workout at Crunch fitness. I was able to get on the wait list online and check-in on line. It was nice. We were seated very quickly. As they seat you, they give you a basket of bread. Unfortunately, we had to ask the waitress for fresh bread. Ours was cold and not delicious. She brought some warm, fresh bread and it was all good. The Cinnamon butter is so good. We ordered a Strawberry and a Mango Margarito along with steak kabobs and a Roadhouse burger. The Margaritas were excellent. Huge glasses, strong enough, perfect. Both meals were cooked exactly how we requested. Food was solidly delicious. Overall, the experience and food was very good. Definitely no complaints. Price was good. We placed an advanced order for pick up. We arrived a couple min early. 20 min later we received a text our order was ready. It was not. Once we returned to our hotel from pick up (we had been driving for 10.5 hours) we found our food to be cool to lukewarm. Our drive was 4 min. Tater skins - the picture is after they were heated up, they lost some of their pumpkin orange color. Some had no soft bacon, some were covered. Med sirloin ordered - med rare received. Which is impressive considering it looked burnt from the outside. Side of cheddar bacon fries- more orange cold cheese on cold fries. Med rare sirloin ordered - med well received. Same burnt look as the other, but much smaller. Otherwise we would have switched. Sweet potato with butter - one potato smashed in the box - no butter for you! Caesar salad with extra dressing- nope! Not on our watch! (Why it it an option when ordering if you aren't going to get it?) Rolls (which were supposedly the reason everything was so slow- per another customer) were hot. We are aware it's annoying for us to take up a table and only get buns but we all work in the service industry and tip well because of it. I usually only write a review when I have something nice to say, however, we visited about a week ago and I still get upset thinking about it, so here was our experience: We came in for dinner for my husband's birthday (no fine dining for us at this stage of life because we have 3 young children ). We love that we can check in early on the app and come in once a table is ready. Our food was fine and came out as expected. The 1 star is for the sorry excuse of a waitress we had on this visit. She was absolutely awful and rude. She said rude things to me and my husband multiple times. The first time I felt like maybe I was being too sensitive, but it continued throughout the visit. She had a rude remark for everything we asked for when we asked for silverware and a refill on our drink when our cups sat empty for more than half our visit. And she wasn't just rude to our table, she was noticeably rude to the surrounding tables to us as well. When our food arrived at our table, she was no where to be found and didn't come back till 20 mins later when our plates were empty. When she was clearing our plates she slammed them around and even squished my daughters finger and did not apologize. Like I said above, we were visiting for my husband's birthday and when I shared this with her at the beginning of the meal she treated us like we were lying and at the end of the meal she didn't offer to sing or bring the saddle over (which honestly my husband was okay with) and she brought out 1 dry brownie on a plate, set it down with a clank and said "here you go". It was extremely off putting to be treated this way. We were there for a special occasion and everyone deserves to feel special on their birthday and this girl totally ruined the night for our whole family. My girls are 5 and 3 and they always ask to go here on their birthdays because of the fun birthday experience and they couldn't understand why their dad didn't get to have the fun or feel special. Had a porterhouse steak,was my first one ever and was quite pleased with it. Succulent flavor, tastefully prepared, grilled to perfection, quite happy, very happy. Along with the steak had two salads instead of a potato. They were more than accommodating. The only thing, and maybe it's just me, but one side of the porterhouse was extremely fatty with bunch of gristle. Other than that it was superb. They struggle with to go orders. When I ordered online, I picked the first available time which would have been 5:51pm. I got there at 5:49. The server told me I was early and should go wait in my vehicle and they would text me. I sat in my car for 35 minutes with no text. I went back to the window and another server helped me and low and behold my food was all bagged up and waiting for me. I asked how long it had been ready, they told me they were waiting for bread. I work customer service, she straight up lied to me. They forgot about me. I took the food home and unbagged everything. The food was cold, and my son ended up with a sweet potato instead of a baked potato. He hates sweet potatoes and loves baked potatoes.
