The staff was fine, the coating on the chicken was fine but the actual chicken must have starved to death and as a last act of defiance DIED on a highway. I would be embarrassed to put that in a deep frier and serve it to customers. Shame on them. read more

Was only able too order one item before being rushed to pay then proceeded to have me wait for the one item I ordered when there was no one else in line, honestly wouldn't have made note of having too wait if I wasent handled so poorly and then the bun being charred in some spots I quite frankly cannot understand what went wrong, cannot recommend this location around lunch time maybe when another shift is in give it a go! read more

Shit service, saw a lady strung out on something In the kitchen. No lie, it took 40 min to get my food, and they completely messed up my buddy's order. He then flipped a lid and didn't want to wait for them to make the samich again, so he left. However, the food was excellent and tantalizing. 10/10 food, 0/10 speed and performance. read more

We stopped in for lunch on our way home to Chicago from Minneapolis. The food is typical of what you'd find at any KFC. What made this place stand out was that all the employees were friendly and attentive, which is really saying something for a fast food place. And, surprisingly, their bathroom was clean with no odors. That is an extremely rare find especially for places that are in the middle of nowhere off the freeway where people only stop for gas or food. read more

First off I came here at the peak of the lunch rush on a Friday and saw a small backup in drive thru. Didn't think much of it until I walked in and saw they were severely understaffed. The front counter person was going back and forth from the register to drive thru taking orders. Manager was in the kitchen busting her butt to get the orders prepared. A very rude lady came in to complain that they were waiting "10 min" for their order to be taken. The manager was very professional and explained they are very short staffed. This shouldn't be a surprise given the economy over the past couple years and the lady began to belittle her and speaking very rudely to her. I commend the manager for keeping her cool during that interaction because no one deserves to be spoken that way. She very calmly told her that she would probably receive faster service by coming in to order. Nothing wrong with that. All in all the food is what you'd expect from a KFC but the service from the hard working staff is what ultimately led me to leave this review. Good on ya crew. You guys deserve an employee appreciation night out! read more

Stopped for a quick meal on the road. I was really hankerin' for some fried chicken. I remembered KFC was pretty good the last time I had it... Hubby and I pulled off the road and stopped here. They had a buffet that looked pretty good for about $7.50. We were in a hurry, so we just ordered to go. Hubby had a chicken sandwich. He said it was terrible. I had 3 piece crispy chicken. First time seeing a buffet style KFC but they were even nice to the ppl that were dinning in. 4 stars only because even though my food was great my fiancé didn't like his. EMPLOYEES DON'T WASH HANDS BEFORE RETURNING BACK TO WORK AREA !!! At least one of them. After using the toilet (sorry for such details, #2) this person went straight to the kitchen! When I confronted him he started explaining that they had a sink in the back... Yet he did not go there immediately after using the bathroom. He was just standing in front the cash register. WTF ?!!! How hard is it to wash your hands ?! How dumb one could be, seeing a customer in front of the sink, the sign on the door, and yet did not care at all ?! Secondly, if you are a fast food and serving a buffet, make sure you cook/grill your food a little bit in advance. There was only one grilled chicken breast, and I was told they might deliver more in 18 mins. (This happened before) Seriously ? You think I come here because your "delicious" chicken and will wait 20 mins..? I visited this place 3-4 times a month. Will not any more. And will reconsider going to KFC at all. read more

It's 8:15, and I Just missed the buffet. Probably a good thing, cuz the kid behind the counter admitted that the chicken had been up on the buffet FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS!!! They offered chicken from the heated storage, so I checked out the bucket offerings (chicken only)... and suddenly my appetite disappeared: $18.99 for an 8-piece bucket of regular chicken. I couldn't believe it. I walked out, but only after suggesting to the girl at the register that she tell the manager that their prices are unreasonably high (I used the word "rip-off", I admit). That suggestion was greeted with a little attitude, and the obvious "we don't set the prices," like it would kill them to mention to their management group that they have unhappy customers because of their prices. I've eaten here before, because when the chicken in the buffet is fresh (a 50-50 proposition at best), it's passable, and an affordable way to get about 10 pieces of chicken. This review is for the experience I had today. Normally this location is ok but tonight at 6pm. I stood behind a family of 3 who were waiting for someone to take their order for about 5 min. One girl was standing at the register looking like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming car and only said she was trying to punch in after being asked if she was going to take the order of the family in front of me. Finally someone, I'm guessing the manager due to wearing a shirt colored different from everyone else, told someone to take over the register. I got frustrated after waiting and worried that they would screw up whatever I ordered so I left. I find it annoying when I go into an establishment and it appears that nobody is taking care of the customers waiting to order. read more

I've stopped in here a few times when passing through Tomah, and generally, the food is hot and the service is good. Though a few times they have not gotten my simple order correct--like crispy vs. original, or dark meat vs. white, overall besides the microwaved mashed and gravy, the meals are affordable and usually served quickly and hot. The last time I stopped--3/27/2018 I ordered a breast and wing fill up and when I finished placing my order I stepped back in line to wait for it. I witnessed two employees wipe their noses on the backs of their hands, no one in the kitchen wearing gloves, what appeared to be the supervisor handling food with torn bandages on fingers/hand-blood present, and the icing on the cake--a customer brought back her plate with a breast and wing on it stating she ordered dark meat. Her plate with the picked at breast and wing chicken which she'd had in her possession at least 10 minutes was then placed on my tray. When I said something I was looked at like I was crazy and neither fresh chicken or a refund was offered so I left. I will never stop at this KFC again. read more

So I call them and tell them. the night mananger on july 11, 2012 says "what do you want me to do about it" I said "Pay me my money back!" he says "Nope" and hung up! what a litlle prick!
