We found this restaurant from their billboard over highway 94. It surely did not disappoint. The location is tucked behind a gas station and for the first time it may seem underrated. But once we stepped into the restaurant, we were transported into somewhere resembling a theme park and were greeted by a friendly staff who took us to our table right away. Wow! I was concerned about finding healthy, gluten-free, vegan food options in this small Midwestern town while on a business trip. Fortunately, I found this Mexican place that had a vegetarian option with rice, corn tortillas and chips. And wow is that a lot of food! Didn't even come close to finishing it for dinner. We went here on a busy Friday evening as a large group of 15. We called ahead and they put together some tables for us to all sit together to enjoy our meal. Cancun Bay recently moved to a much larger location, and it's amazing. I love how it looks like a little city in here. The prices are great, and the food is delicious! One of the best seafood chimichangas that I've had. The mixed berry margarita was a nice treat as well. The service was wonderful for a busy Friday. Had low expectations for a Mexican spot in Tomah , WI but this place was actually pretty good. Had some tasty green enchiladas along with a Mandarin Jarrito and the service was friendly. Packed mom and pop venue with some great daily specials. Would return again if I was in the area. Seems very popular with the locals and law enforcement/military as well. We had a group of 12. We went to the brand new location. Had it reserved for a week. When we got there they acted surprised. I look at the calendar behind the counter and had to point it out that it was on the calendar. We were seated in a table area that had food scraps on the floor and chairs. Some chicken,some limes,napkins, other smashed up unidentified foods. We ask to be seated at the cleaner area 5 feet away. That lady walked away and never came back just totally ignored. The server came and we asked if they normally seat people in dirty areas with food waste all over,napkins and greasy prints on tables and chairs....the server looked me right in the eye and said "yes,it's normal.What do you want to drink". At least he was honest I guess. That's the last money they will get from the people in the group. If they are not ashamed to sit customers in a dirty area in the dining room.....what does it look like behind those kitchen doors. This restaurant was recommended by a colleague and did not disappoint. The have complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh and chunky. I ordered the shrimp (Large) and crab chimichanga (imitation crab). It came with refried beans, rice, pico de gallo, guac, and a little slide salad. The food came out quick and it was a nice family friendly atmosphere. I didn't order an alcoholic beverage but they did have a list and looked good on other tables. The price was good. My crew and I were all away from our family for the holiday so we figured we would have a fun night out for our families and decided on this restaurant. We had a party of 12 so we called earlier to get a reservation but they do not seem to take reservations so we showed up in person and they gave us a 25 minute wait. this was no issue as we were able to pregame with the gas station next door. Once they were ready to seat us, the staff wasted no time in getting out orders so the appetizers and drinks came out in fast time. The queso dip was delicious but got ran through real quick as the staff was quick to refill our chips. I ended up ordering the Steak Burrito as I needed a big portion to hold me over. The food came out and our plates were cleared within minutes. Afterward, we were able to enjoy to cool ambiance and finish our drinks when our waiter came out offering us free shots. The gesture was incredibly kind and made our experience all the much better. All in all, we all had an amazing time at the restaurant and recommend it to anyone looks for some nice vibes and decent food. read more

Hot, flavorful, and served as expected with rice, beans, lettuce, a little guacamole... all fresh and delicious. Wife had a beef tips burrito that was enough food for 2 or more, but also very good. I used to like the place until I started doing a little research. When you dine in and you get your chips... You get all perfect chips that are unbroken. When you get to go orders, you get broken chips at the bottom and only a few normal chips on the top to cover it.
