Very disappointed in there cleanliness during COVID. The girl working at the window had on her mask just at the chin not covering her mouth or nose so there is no point in using one at that point to protect customers. Now I'm worried about the food being not made cleanly. They need to change that. read more

I've been to this place many times. Everything always tasted good and fresh to me. I never got sick from anything eaten here, and neither have any of my friends and family. It was clean, and the food was hot and fresh. Service was quick, I never had to wait very long. And its one of the few KFC's that actually REMEMBERS to put butter and honey in the bag for your biscuit, when you ask them to (most of them don't and it drives me crazy). Unlike other reviewers, I don't judge an employee by how many teeth they have. People with missing teeth have to support their family too. At least they are willing to get off their butt and work! Maybe they are too poor from paying their bills to afford fancy dental work. Gosh, some people act like if you don't look like a super model, you shouldn't be allowed to work. I actually RESPECT this KFC, for not being so superficial in who they hire. They go by how friendly a worker is, and how well they do their job. Not by how magazine-perfect they look. Too many jobs do that now a days-- you have to look like a Barbie doll to get hired, because they only want perfect-looking people working there. Update- Not sure if they saw my review or simply did some service recovery without seeing it but I'm happy to report within 90 mins of my previous review being posted I received a call from a MUCH more friendly employee (the same one-she was just nice and customer-minded this time) and my family is currently eating our meal which took less than 20 minutes to appear on my doorstep. Good recovery guys. Hate that I had to get so upset and be treated like that BUT in the end they made up for it so I'm giving credit where credit is due. I can't delete my previous review because it was really a bad experience that upset me and would upset ANY customer-but I want to be sure to also tell the public they made up for it. read more

Was traveling from a long trip home and stop to get something to eat.The garbage in the restaurant were all overflowing. The poor girl who was waiting on everyone in restaurant Plus the drive up was doing the best she could and asked for help and no one came up to help so she was making mistake. Worst KFC I have been in. Very disorganized. Waiting over 20 minutes for a 2 piece meal. Floor in kitchen with crumbs all over. Person "in charge" argumentative when asked about order. Gentleman waiting with oxygen for 20 minutes to get his order. Tried to say something as oxygen tanks run out. On Friday Aug 3, 2018 My husband and I went thru drive thru at the KFC IN Yreka, Ca. We waited over 20 minutes in line and the car in front of us still had not placed their order.We were hungry since we had been traveling from Oregon. We left and went to Carl Jr. to eat. First we tired the drive through, the microphone wasn't working well and they put a paper sign out side but it was falling down so you couldn't even read it. We came inside, the manager and another employee along with a couple friends were standing at the counter chatting, loudly. As I look at the 'kitchen' i noticed it was a filthy mess. The employees were noisy and acting like teenage children, the music was loud, between it all I could hardly hear the employee who was taking my order. The bathrooms smelled like dead rats, it was awful. I only decided to stay here and eat because I promised my kids and there isn't many choices in yreka. I was driving thru Yreka with a few friends and they decided to get some chicken for dinner. As we walked in, the smell of fried oil was so thick it was hard to breathe. They ordered chicken breast and the girl behind the counter said they were all out. They only had chicken strips left and the wait for those was 8 minutes. Got to the window , she then stated the people inside had been back 3 times! One night after work, I stopped in to get some chicken. The place was kind of dingy and there was a long line because they didn't have enough chicken cooked. I should have left then, but I didn't. When it was my turn, the cashier opened her mouth to talk and there were zero teeth. Not one. Not even dentures. If that is who is the "face" of the restaurant, I shudder to think who's cooking! I love KFC. The staff is friendly and they try hard to do their jobs correctly. The food is great even though it is unhealthy. It's nice to be able to come here when you don't want a burger and fries. The prices are reasonable. read more

I downloaded yelp just to give this place a review. This is by far the worst place I've ever been. Not restaurant, place. I'm currently on a road trip with my family, and we stopped at the first food place we saw. When we got to the counter, we ordered and went to fill up our drinks. Half of the drinks didn't work, and the ones that did tasted horrible. We went and sat down. I immediately noticed that the floor underneath me was slippery and grimy. Our food came to us, Half if it missing. I went to go ask for the sandwich and Mac and cheese we were missing, and the woman behind the counter kept cutting me off, trying to interpret what I was saying before i said it. Random people walked freely behind the counters. The workers had dead eyes, as if they too knew how bad their restaurant was. After my son's wedding, my husband, daughter, her service dog and I were traveling from Vancouver, WA back home to the Bay Area when we stopped in for lunch. Lunch was fine but after the crazy weekend I left my wallet on the counter. Unfortunately, we were 3 hours into the next leg of our trip home when I discovered it missing. One of the employees (Gregory) had found it. After talking to us, he put it into the safe and told us to call the manager the next morning. I called UPS the next day and faxed KFC a shipping label. They boxed it up and had it ready for UPS. It came back to me with everything intact. Their effort was greatly appreciated!! read more

Cleanest KFC I have ever ate at. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful.

It was 610p on a Saturday evening and we were driving south from Portland to San Jose and went through the drive-thru for something different in fast food. The drive-thru guy was most helpful and directed us around the menu since we were not familiar with what was available. We ended up ordering popcorn chicken in all three of our meals, asking for BBQ sauce with them. He asked the questions about drink for all, etc. When we arrived at the window, we waited a good minute before anyone came to the window to take our money. Then another minute or so waiting for our food. We were handed a bag by a different worker than the drive-thru guy with what looked like enough boxes for the food we ordered so we entered the freeway to continue our trip. I got out the food to feed my daughter and there was no milk or the ketchup we ordered at the window when the guy took our money. The bottled water was missing with our order as well. I didn't find the BBQ sauce we ordered, instead finding finger lickin sauce and honey mustard, which weren't even close to cutting through the hard outer coating of the dry popcorn chicken. The drive-thru guy was friendly and accommodating which is why there is an extra star, otherwise it would be one star. Back to the other standbys when we cruise through Yreka again. read more
