This is a cool McDonald's, it's one of the only one's I've seen in a long time that have the playland area for kids. This place was pretty when we came. The store is a big size and they keep it clean. One worker was sweeping and the manager had the other one check the restroom. They seem to take pride in this place. I'm not sure why it has such a low rating. I placed my order on the kiosk and used the restroom. Restroom was clean. I took a few pictures for my review and my order was up in no time. My order was piping hot and fresh, and complete. read more

They don't even know their own hours of operation! Their website says they are open for breakfast till 11:00 but they're not. The only McDonald's in California that closes at 10:30 for breakfast. Dang I didn't know asking for the restroom code would cause the lady employee with the braid to have such an attitude. Both people in my party tried to open the bathroom and it would not open so I waited in line to ask for the code. I simply asked for it and the lady working said "it's open" and I just said "oh we tried it and it wasn't working" then she shook her head with so much attitude and was like "nope it's open!". Then to top it off she didn't know I was still inside and she's literally making fun of me mocking what I said. I simply just asked for the code lol. Awful. This McDonald's is super clean, the staff is very courteous, and the food was hot and came out quickly. After we ordered, we sat and were served at our table. Our server even checked on us and brought us ketchup. It was not the usual fast food experience-I was very impressed. We stopped in at 11:00 am. We were the family of 10 that walked out because the lady that looked to be the manager looked at us and shook her head while saying oh my god like are you kidding me ya we are a lot but we are also tourist passing by coming from Portland and instead of taking the business you proceeded to look at the cashier and he just says you seen she still had the nerve to say yes and gag like if anything was wrong with us besides us being Hispanics. They had a play place and a table that has lights on it for the kids that when you hovered your hand over it, it slowly disappeared. Fun! Store was clean and neat. We were driving back home after a long 10 hour road trip on a Sunday. We needed to stop for a bathroom break, and since it was close to dinner time, and we knew there would probably not be much food at home, we decided to just get some Mickey D's and eat it on our final hour drive. We went inside, and the girl at the checkout was super nice and friendly. We ordered our food, used the restrooms, and took off. As we started eating the food, we noticed 2 things...the food was fresh, and hot. Wow, its been a long time since I could say that about a Mcdonald's. The filet o' fish was actually not nasty and smelly fishy, but fresh tasting. The fries were hot and crispy. And the fruit punch I ordered with my meal tasted like childhood in the 70's. It makes me sad to have to share a bad experience. Unfortunately the staff here are very racist. One of them took one look at my husband and since he is of a darker complexion she was almost throwing the food we paid for at him. Then when he politely asked for some hot sauce she walked away. We kept trying to get her attention and she refused to answer until we brought out a cell phone. Then when walked in to use the restroom the man inside was being so rude, but did give us a code. I hadn't even began to enter it when some white folks walked in for the same reason as I and he said he could unlock the restroom from where he was at. Their attitude made it clear they did not want us there. It's sad that these people don't realize that they have a job thanks to us customers. They should really reconsider working with people as it doesn't seem appropriate for their personality. read more

horrible service. racist workers.(im hispanic) we waited 30 minuted for a small order. my drinks were all watered down and food was cold. i asked kindly to remake one of the drinks and the worker slammed it into the garbage and made a new one and left it off to the side where i couldnt reach. i told another worker how we had been waiting 30 minutes, i showed him the receipt and he told me with his hands up as if i was going to hit him "i dont want your trash". i left the receipt there and grabbed my order and left. i have travelled a lot through this place to get to oregon and this time it was the night shift and it the was the worst service ive ever experienced the day shift is not a problem at all those workers are amazing. do NOT go to this mcdonalds if you want to be treated horribly. read more

I stopped going to this McDonalds years ago. Tonight we decided to give it a try again. I wish we hadn't. The order was incorrect; employees seemed rushed and irritated and their food presentation was embarrassing. We ordered a crispy chicken deluxe with tomato and what we got was a joke; pictured. This is anything but a deluxe sandwich. I should mention that this was a large order for six people. The only upside was the lady who took our order she was super nice and friendly. I wish I could say the same about the rest of the staff. I wish I would have gone home and cooked dinner and save some money. :( read more

Five Stars for Tommy Tonight I came in to buy a Happy Meal toy for my daughter; as I took hers to save it for 100 years from now. I promised her I would get her another one, so to McDonald's I went. It looked fairly busy at the drive through when I asked to see what Luca toys they had. At first he seemed exasperated, he was literally doing 3 things at once. One left, same one she already had, so I asked to see the Disney toys. He put what they had on the counter and went back to the window. Called the kid, picked one out, and let him know I was ready. When he realized I only wanted one he says " just take it, it's fine." I was super impressed. Sometimes our McDonald's doesn't have the best customer service or food or whatever. Alright so I get apple slices with my order so my 1 year old son has something to snack on my way home. (Long drive) we realized that that apple slices aren't in the bag. So I run inside and the lobby is packed with tweakers making it impossible to get help from any of employees. Okay so I just give up on the apple slices go out to my car and my boyfriends had to basically fight off a tweaker that kept trying to get into our car. Literally pulling at the door handle where my 1 year old is sitting. And after all this we still had to go to a grocery store to get my son something to eat. And this was all at around 6pm. I used to work at this McDonald's a few years ago. It was the cleanest fast food restaurant I've ever been in. As far as the service goes, they do the best they can with being understaffed. Also, everyone makes mistakes. If you think you're perfect, go ahead and write a bad review about how they messed up your cheap burger, but no one can make 100's of sandwiches a day and never mess up. We are a family of 4, 2 of which are 2 and 4 year olds. We were more than impressed with this McDonalds chain. First we were so grateful for the play area which was separated from the ordering line. There were tables and chairs in the play area and even a bathroom with a changing table in the play zone area. It seemed the whole place is regularly maintained. Even our oldest commented the rest room was nice! Is the place new? It's so clean and welcoming! When my husband went to order our late lunch, a man who seemed like homeless was short on change to order. My husband was more than willing to help him but both the staff and another customer stepped in to assist. What a lovely little town! This kind of thing wants us to come back here as regulars. I stopped by this Mc Donald's in Brookings Oregon to get a frappe. When I tried ordering a frappe it at the speaker pedestal the lady said we don't have frappe's right now so I ordered a diet coke. After waiting in a long line I finally arrived at the the ordering window at 2:40 pm on 02/19/2023 and talked to the lady who said we don't have frappe's right now. I said that is all I wanted but am have been stuck in line for something I did not come here to get. I asked lady that took my order "do you ever pit out a sign that says you are not serving Frappe's right now?" She rudely stated "No we don't do that". I said too bad because you have a customer who came for that one item and got stuck in line because you don't let the customer know that your frappe machine is broke before the customer gets in a long slow moving cars. Then I got to the next window to get my diet soda and waited there for a few minutes while that employee struggled with the soda machine, she never talked to me to let me know what was going on, the window stayed closed the whole time, finally I left without my soda. If you want a friendly well run business to stop at for a drink and or food you should look for another place. Hopefully the manager will read this and do so training and solve this frustrating problem. read more

Stopped here for something quick while traveling through. Burger, fries and fish sandwich lukewarm, garbage in lobby overflowing and had to clean a table. Used restroom and stalls overflowing with waste in the garbage there as well. Also saw someone pull a cup out of garbage and come in back door to fill it with soda. I realize it's McDonalds but it doesn't take much to take out garbage and serve annoy burger. read more
