But it was very delish and the right level of spice for me (except for the korma). Only not a 5 star review because our server seemed pretty grumpy and unhappy haha but a gentleman whom I believe was the owner came over multiple times to ask how our food was and recommended some dishes for us as it was our first time in. Honest is a vegetarian Indian restaurant with a menu that is different than any other Indian restaurant in the area. The menu runs a variety from versions of curries, sandwiches, Indo/Chinese and even pizzas. There are a number of items of Indian street food and the overall vibe is more of the kind of modern Indian casual restaurant you might actually find in India, which makes sense since this is a local franchise of a chain that started in India. Not surprisingly the times I have visited the clientele was primarily Asian. During my visits I have tried a number of items and while I found the sandwiches were good, what were my favorites were the curries and the Chinese style noodles. A number of the items were flavored with very authentic spicing so you need to be careful if you are hot spice sensitive; I really enjoyed the spiciness, but not everyone will. Overall Honest Restaurant is a great alternative to most of the other Indian restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is casual, the food is very good with some options not usually available, prices are moderate and service is good. Well worth a try especially if you are looking for something a bit different.

I ordered the Raan Fried Rice and the Pad Thai, and both were packed with flavor, generously portioned, and incredibly satisfying. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up coming back three times during my trip. What made the experience even more memorable was Sandy. Every single time I walked through the door, she welcomed me with the same genuine warmth and kindness, as if she was happy to see me for the first time all over again. It's rare to meet someone who can make a complete stranger feel so welcome. On my last day in Ohio, I stopped by one more time just to say goodbye before heading home.
