Fresh naan with salad and chutney

The food is the real reason to come here. Service is done register side, pick up food when you're called to. The inside is quite small, sort of like a deli or just a small kitchen like setup. The kabob karahi is what you get when you come here with the fresh naan, get a couple extra, you'll need it!

Food was very good, had the beef and chicken. Sauce had a nice spice to it. I wasn't a fan of the samosas, it was hard.

This is our go to spot for Pakistani food. They have the best traditional Chicken Karahi with other dishes that are also good with bread that is freshly made the traditional way. They are a small but clean location with very friendly customer service that but a lot of Love in their food. Thank you Khan Kabob for making such delicious food. We are definitely coming back as regular customers.

**TO GO REVIEW** Worth it? Yes Repeat? Yes There are a lot of Kabob places in NOVA and this is a Pakistani fan favorite among all my Pakistani friends LAHORI CHOLEY (Chick Peas) is the best I've had. The perfect rich flavor with a hint of spicy. This is my number one reason for coming and repeating time after time. Their kabobs are pretty good and consistently juicy but not mind blowing. The green sauce is pretty meh. The chick peas literally give them a +1 star. Looking forward to trying their authentic Pakistani cuisine for additional updates.

    Chicken Aloo Keema

I've been yearning for some REAL Pakistani food lately, as there are sooo many Indian joints, but very few Pakistani places. And when I do find a Pakistani place, some dumb-down the food to make it "Americanized" which really takes away from the amazing, robust and authentic flavors that make this sooo much better than Indian food. So, recently I learned about Khan Kabob on social media and decided to give it a try for dinner. I don't do the typical "Chicken Tikka" (until I've been to a place many times), I like to start with items like Shami or Chapli kabobs, keema, saag, etc and then for a typical staple that's popular, I always opt for a samosa and channa as well. On this particular visit, I was so happy to see Keema in the case, as it's very rare that anyone makes this. Turns out, it's a Thursday night treat there! They make it from chicken too, which is fine with me... I grew up eating it with minced beef, but appreciate it made with chicken or lamb too. So, I asked the young man for some of that, a single chapli kabob (made spicy), a single samosa and a small bowl of channa. He had all of this prepared pretty quickly for me (probably a 10 min wait) and I commenced to feasting! First, I can't stand anything on my naan, to me it's an American thing to put butter (or ghee) and sesame seeds on it and they do that here. I actually asked for no butter, but it came buttered anyway and I took it, because it looked amazing and I have to say, it was really good! I didn't like the sesame seeds on it, but I dealt with the greasiness of the butter, as the texture and cook on the bread was spot-on! The channa was stewed down and thick-sauced, exactly how I prefer it to be! The chapli kabob had a PERFECT season and spice to it - again, exactly how it's supposed to be! The keema was outstanding! Nice spice mix used in it and the texture of the meat was outstanding! They even tossed in a little aloo to help with the flavor and texture and I loved that! Something this place does extremely well is their chutney! So many places you go these days use watered-down chutney, but not Khan, it's perfectly thick and loaded with flavor, as it's supposed to be! The only mediocre thing was the somosa, it was pretty good, but not on the same scale as everything else, but I would definitely order it again, as I did like it. Service was outstanding! The guy who took my order (one of the two brother who were running the business for their dad that night) was friendly and helpful. I also really loved the smell in this place, as soon as I walked in, it reminded me of being in Pakistan. Once you get a taste for food the way it's supposed to be made, it's difficult to get that memory out of your mind and you tend to hold everyone else to that basic standard and I have to say, they didn't disappoint when I visited. I will most definitely be back and try more, perhaps their Chicken Karahi, as that looked outstanding (I saw it on another table).

I usually do take out from here. Their chicken karahi is really good and their naan are the best. I drive 35 minutes for their food.

Read mixed reviews about Khan Kabob and avoided trying it out till recently. B and his coworkers have been here before and told me that they really enjoyed their kabobs, so here I am. We placed our order to go and it takes some time for their food to get ready. The kabobs are freshly prepared. Their chicken and lamb kabobs were on point. It has awesome flavor and I became an instant fan. The naan and veggies are all delicious as well. Their chick peas are amazing, they remind me of my favorite chick peas from a restaurant in Arlington, VA. The naan is so fresh and fluffy. The don't skimp on flavor here, your tastebuds will be happy. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place. If you're in the area and in the mood for some good kabobs, Khan Kabob is a great option to have.

Entry into the counter and buffet with the seating to the left. We almost used the kiosk but I wasn't clear on the buffet options (guess that one was dine-in and one was takeout. But it didn't specify.) We ordered at the counter and sat down. They said the bread would be a few minutes. I went with the buffet, my wife ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, and we got an order of hummus so baby had something. Buffet isn't huge, but it has a good variety. I started with a little of almost everything. The two rices, spinach, chickpea stew, okra stew, chicken curry, beef stew, salad, and pickled veggies. I recommend trying a little of everything because it was all good. Maybe could have used a bit more salt, but better to let someone add seasoning than to be overly salty. I think my favorites were the beef stew, chickpea stew, and seasoned rice. The flatbread came out hot and fresh. Slightly crispy on the bottom and chewy inside. My wife really liked her shawarma wrap. I only took a tiny bite of chicken, but I thought it was good. The hummus seemed fresh with a strong, nutty flavor. I think maybe extra tahini? Price wasn't too bad. Maybe a little pricey, or I'd at least say it wasn't inexpensive. I we did leave quite full. The man working at the counter was extremely friendly. Walking me through everything on the buffet and making recommendations.

The place was clean, I could even see in the kitchen and it looked nice. Service was fine. The menu is filled with the typical Pakistani/Indian delights. We tried their chicken tikka (boneless) kabob. The flavors were really good and the meat was tender. It came out perfect. The naan was incredibly soft and perfect texture and density too. Their veggie biryani was more of a mix of curry into the rice, versus the right way of making it with curry folded into the rice with some other colored rices folded in as well. The flavors were just a messy/overall single flavor, rather than tasting the different flavors. The karahi was really just a stewed chicken curry, versus a freshly made stir fried (in a karahi) style curry with fresh tomatoes and chicken. I could tell by how melty and stewed down the chicken was. Overall, the flavor was ok, but it didn't resemble the karahi I'm familiar with from making it and eating it in Pakistani family kitchens over the years. They dont make the food fresh, besides possibly the naan bread. But even the naan bread is not fresh for every order. They gave us extremely hard chewy room temperature naan which we had to go ask them for freshly cooked naan instead, which was totally different. The gyro meat, they literally reheat previously cooked gyro meat instead of carving it fresh off the roasting cone and providing freshly cooked gyro meat. The gyro meat they provided was also room temperature and obviously not fresh. Maybe if you get lucky and come in at the right time you can get gyro meat freshly carved off the cone, but the other times youll be getting older and reheated gyro meat which is unacceptable. Its the same situation with their beef kobideh kabobs and possibly even their rice. These were not made to order, instead both the kabob and rice were room temperature, not hot, and they had obviously reheated the kobideh kabobs instead of actually cooking fresh ones. All of this is unacceptable. To top it off their prices are extremely high. Gyros i believe were $14 which is very high end for gyro. The kobidehs i believe were $18 or $19. So their prices are higher than most places yet the quality is lower. Theres plenty of places you can get a freshly cooked gyro or kabob with rice for less.
