    Egg Roll
    Kenny R.

it was everything i hoped for in one bite! i've driven by this place a couple times and the idea of halal + chinese food always intrigued me. going into it i wanted it to feel its own and not too much of either. it's a cozy establishment that feels like any everyday NY chinese spot but the aroma in the room hits different. it will become like clockwork for anyone who gives it a taste. talking to the chef he explained to us some of the differences in techniques and my brother & i went with the hakka style cooked beef & shrimp. when i say it was everything i wanted in one bite, i could only imagine what i wanted it to taste like and it surpassed that. just letting the rice soak up the sauce from each plate was beyond delightful. the egg roll had its subtle unique nodes but i can just boil it down to one of my favorite egg rolls. i can't thank ahmed enough for the hospitality and for the first time experience. we will be back and we will have an update

I went to this restaurant for the first time. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. I ordered chili chicken with egg fried rice. The chili chicken was excellent, but the egg fried rice was not good--it was undercooked and had a bad taste. The egg roll, however, was good. One great thing about this restaurant is that it's halal and conveniently located close to Adelphi University.

Generous portions of food! Everything came out fresh and their mango and strawberry lassi drinks are refreshing! Great service

We've been looking to add more Chinese restaurants to our regular rotation, and I think we may have found a new favorite! We were greeted and seated immediately upon walking in. The restaurant has an elegant, classic atmosphere with crisp white tablecloths, giving it a timeless and welcoming feel. The entire team was attentive, professional, and courteous. Our servers, Cecelia and Philip, were both warm and friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. When the restaurant was a little quieter, I had the opportunity to chat with Cecelia, who told me that she has been working here for 37 years and that the restaurant itself has been around for nearly 40 years. You could tell she takes great pride in what she does. That says a lot about both the restaurant and the people who work here. With the warm and attentive service we received, it's easy to see why they have been around for so long. For dinner, Hubby ordered the white meat General Tso's chicken and said it was the best he's ever had. The white meat was exceptionally tender and flavorful. I ordered the vegetable pan-fried noodles and was very happy with the generous amount of fresh vegetables. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. Each of our dishes also came with a bowl of white rice. We will definitely be back soon!

Another wonderful meal tonight at one of our favorite Long Island spots--we've been coming here…read moreregularly since last year, and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is welcoming and warm, but Tiffany truly stands out. She is gracious, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful--someone who remembers you and makes you feel like more than just a table. Tonight, when things slowed down a bit, we had the chance to catch up and share a few laughs, which made the evening feel even more special. As for the food, it was just as impressive. I had the twin lobster with ginger and scallion over E-Fu noodles--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered his usual--eggs with mixed vegetables--which isn't on the menu, but they always accommodate when possible. He thoroughly enjoyed it, as he always does. Fresh, delicious food paired with standout, heartfelt service is exactly why we keep coming back. This place has truly become one of our regular favorites.

Dimsum is adequate. Not as good as the dimsum place in Flushing, but not horrible. The taro crescent is good. Raddish cake is also good along with the young chow fried rice. The soy sauce in the rice roll is a bit too sweet. Shrimp in the shrimp dumpling lacks flavor. Overall, I will come here if I live around here.
