They repaired a lot of old poorly done work, and were very thorough. When I recently experienced a drain clog in the shower, I called another local plumber because they advertised a drain snaking special. Not only was that bait and switch (only if they can clean the drain from the cleanout only, which is unlikely with a shower), that plumber came out, told me they could've done the job cheaper, and then failed to be able to fix the clog. I called yesterday, and Brandon from Flood Brothers came today, put five minutes of hard work and elbow grease in and figured it out and fixed the problem. It was just a giant hair clog! They stand behind their work, and I will have them back to finish the rest of the plumbing updates to my home.

I initially contacted him to perform maintenance on my tankless hot water heater since I had just moved into a new home. Zorro showed up on time, was extremely patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions (it was my first time dealing with a tankless system). Because of how great the experience was, I ended up asking him for a quote on a whole house water filtration system as well. During the installation, one of the filter tanks unfortunately had a crack. Zorro immediately got on the phone with his supplier to get a replacement as quickly as possible. He kept me informed every step of the way, even sending me the tracking number so I could follow along. When the replacement arrived on a Saturday, Zorro was at my house within the hour to finish the job. That level of responsiveness and accountability is rare. It's also clear he really knows what he's doing. He even handled cleanup and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving, which I really appreciated. Since our old plumber didn't know anything about fixing/repairing things that are not working properly, I had to look around and found this company. This is a family owned business that has been around for over 30 years. They specialize in fixing sinks, toilets, drain stoppers, main line stoppers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, kitchen water lines, and more.. I used this company twice before. Once for my sink's garbage disposal, and the other time was for the sinks in both of my bathrooms. My landlord bought this cheap faucet that they use at fast food chain restaurants, and didn't do anything with the valve or the damages, that was caused by the leaks that literally became to be a lake in both bathrooms. My cleaning supplies, toilet papers, paper towels that I keep under my sink were SO wet along with both floors. The job that those 2 guys did in an hour and a half, took my old plumber to do in 5 hours and was still not fixed. It was like putting a band-aid on a wound. The process was so fast, seamless, and professional.. I am so grateful that I found this plumbing company that did an exceptional, excellent job for both my bathrooms, and my garbage disposal in my kitchen. They answered the phone immediately, and had a service guy out later that day. They sent me his picture along with the confirmation so I'd know he was the right person. There was a delay in him getting there because another job took longer than he anticipated but they kept me updated and asked if it was still okay for him to come at the next two hour service window. I appreciated that because it was respectful of my time. Of course it was fine. Darren arrived, assessed the situation, and gave me three options. I opted to replace the tank and bring it up to code but held off on the tankless option. He came prepared with a high quality heater in the truck with everything he needed so he did the work right then and about two hours later he was done and we had hot water again. The billed amount was the same as the quote he gave me earlier. Not cheap but on par with expected costs and they use high quality components. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Payless Water Heaters.

The dispatch and a complimentary text message said they would call half an hour before the tech showed up--unfortunately that call didn't happen BUT the tech was patient as I made my drive over. The tech (Aden) was friendly, informative, sharp, on his game. Gave the heater a thorough inspection, repaired some missing screws in one of the faceplates, cleaned up dust and debris, and got the furnace relit and working. Most importantly he gave me a solid rundown on what to look for, a couple water drainage issues he spotted that may cause us problems in the future, and wrapped up. Cost of the inspection covered his repairs. We were done within an hour. I'll call these folks back for future water furnace needs--hope they can fix whatever happened with the warning call.

My sister recommended I do a sewer scope "just in case" since she encountered some costly issues on…read moreher property that could have been prevented with a sewer scope and preventative work. I reached out to a bunch of companies and went with the cheapest (not Cali Rooter and Plumbing) since I figured they'd all be doing the same thing and I didn't expect them to find anything. Well, to my unpleasant surprise, they told me that I needed a new sewer pipe from my property to the street. Despite the fact that the entire plumbing system had been overhauled five years earlier as part of an extensive renovation and all the new plumbing was okay, they had connected everything to the original pipe from the 1940's. They showed me some blockage that was already happening and said that if I didn't replace the pipe I could have an issue with water backing up into the house, causing damage. Given that this was no longer just a sewer scope, I did some more research and based on reviews, asked Cali Rooter for a second opinion. They came out first thing the following morning (like 10 hours later) and told me that I not only needed to repair the sewer pipe, but I also had to get a liner. They suggested that the other company was either negligent, or knew that I needed the liner and was going to wait until the trench was dug already and I was forced to say yes to the upsell. Cali Rooter said that they could come as soon as the rain stopped, about 4 days later, to do the entire repair. Communication was great throughout, they showed up around 9 am and were done by around 3 pm and it looks like they were never there (my biggest concern was the landscaping). They also serviced the two water heaters on my property as a courtesy. All around great service - great communication, fast responses and service. So far so good with the new pipe, although I guess if they did things right, I won't know until after things don't go wrong for decades.
