Amazing Dress, amazing service! I needed to find a dress for…read morean Indian wedding and I tried 4 other stores before this one... I'm 6'2 so finding something long enough was difficult and no one at the other stores even bothered to help me. I came in to this store and I was not only showed multiple options, but I was even taught different ways to drape and wear the dress. Varsha spent probably an hour helping me find the perfect sizes. I've never met someone so sweet and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough! I got so many compliments on this beautiful lehenga :)

The store was somewhat busy on a Sunday morning, as there were other groups shopping and getting help from the staff. There seems to be a good variety in terms of lehengas. They had a lot of mix and match outfits. You pick out colors and they'll bring out options they think will make for a cohesive outfit (top, skirt, and scarf). I think this is good if you have a pretty specific vision for colors and styles, but we were just starting our search and would have liked a bit more guidance on styling and pricing. I think part of that was that it was like two staff members helping at least 2 other groups. Service was otherwise nice, and they did answer our questions when we had some. They also did not pressure us to buy anything, which we've experienced at other Indian clothing stores. The pricing for a lehenga set that includes top, skirt, and scarf is probably in the ~$150+ range, as you would be mixing and matching. I think in retrospect, after shopping at other stores, although mixing and matching can be nice, I personally preferred already matched sets since they seem more cohesive. We were also looking for kurtas and sherwanis. The staff kind of just showed us where they were located in the store. I remembered seeing prices approximately $300-$500 range for sherwanis. The nice part was that they gave us a sense for sizing, so that was helpful. It seems they have a lot of other outfits, jewelry, shoes, celebration items that we didn't look too much into. After shopping at a few other stores, I am actually not sure if they offer tailoring here, since they tended to pick out lehenga tops for my specific size, and not necessarily other sizes with styles. Might be worth asking if they do have tailoring. I am also not sure if a factor is that it would narrow the styles I would try on. I can imagine that it would be labor intensive and time consuming to take out a bunch of different sizes and styles, and then having to put them back. I didn't realize how intensive the process of buying/selling lehengas was before shopping here! The store is somewhat organized and it does have two fitting rooms for you to use. I can see how it can be hard to try things on if the store gets busier. The downside of trying things on here is that lighting isn't the best. Overall, I think this was a nice store to shop for Indian clothing!

"Go fu(k yourself "…read more Quote from Peter the owner ( see screenshot ) I am a fan of nice shirts, money is no object. I walked into peters shop to see rows of suits and shirts. I immediately thought of my impending European trip coming up in a few months and thought...perhaps I should get some nice slacks to go with a shirt... A click of employees in the left rear raised their heads to watch me come in. Nothing. No greeting No welcome. No stroll over to see if I need help...I did need help. I walked down a row of garments... Most were covered in plastic...a good sign if you ask me, yet I didn't want to start removing plastic to see the fabric, I felt that would be inappropriate and employee intervention was needed. I looked up several times to either see stares at me, or total dismissal. Clearly the owner was absent! Not a good sign for service. Especially considering I'd need tailoring. I slowly walked out hoping to elicit a response..anywhere from Could we help you? Or Thanks for stopping by.. Nothing. I posted a review on yelp( see screen shot picture ) And was told " vafanculo" Italian for " go fu(k yourself " I do believe the owner is responding with anger towards a negative review, When his attention should be on his employees who came up short. True class would be to apologize for his employees laziness. Peter let his true Italian colors shine with his response.

For the setup, breakdown, renting…read moreof hanbok and dressing you, Mizland provides all of this: the convenience was nice though there are other vendors from Koreatown in LA that do the same. However, I would say the service during the ceremony was very unpolite and unprofessional. When we first started and my mom sat down, she asked my mom if we had tip money ready. She didn't guide us through the proper sitting or allowing us to pour the Korean wine. I felt rushed even though we limited it to our parents and not extended relatives. And all of my Korean relatives noticed my hat not being properly sized. In the end, I wanted to give an unique experience for our guests which was accomplished. However, I personally was caught off guard by the poor service and feeling rushed. There are alternatives vendors in Koreatown LA that will also fly into the Bay. So you can keep those providers in mind for a great experience

This past April, my now-husband and I wanted to do both tea ceremonies for our families - a Vietnamese/Chinese one in the morning and a Korean one in the evening during the dinner reception. There are not a lot of Paebaek options in the Bay Area and this one is not as well known as it should be. I heard about this place from my mom who frequented this store and was familiar with the owner, Mrs. Yang. Before the Paebaek, my mom, my husband and I went to the shop and had an informal meeting about how things would go. She went through the schedule of events, how long it would take, what props and decor would be provided, which order of family members on both sides would be participating, and we also got to try on the traditional hanboks. She let us choose which traditional hanbok we would be wearing underneath the wedding ceremony garments (you'll see in the pictures!). Because my husband is not Korean, and those in attendance at our reception and the MC was not Korean, Mrs. Yang's son was very gracious to email us a detailed powerpoint of exactly what would be taking place each step of the way. This gave us material for the MC to speak to the audience while we were performing the ceremony, so that everyone knew what was going on and what it meant in Korean culture. The day of, Mrs. Yang and her two assistants (One gentleman who helped set up the ceremony and another lady who assisted Mrs. Yang and us into our clothes and throughout the ceremony). Both Mrs. Yang and her assistant were also dressed in Korean hanboks as well, which helped bring a true traditional ambiance! They came prepared with all the rentals and decor that would be needed. All we had to do was make sure we had a 12'x12' space large enough for the ceremony (if you have a small stage, that would work too!). We planned for this space in the middle of the restaurant surrounded by the dinner reception tables. Mrs. Yang and her assistant worked together to help my husband and I into our traditional hanboks so that we could hang out with our guests before the reception and take pictures. Once everyone was settled in, we went back to the changing room to be further assisted with the wedding garments and hairpieces that would be needed for the traditional wedding attire. The patience Mrs. Yang provided, even when we had guests who arrived a bit late, really helped to ease our nerves and to enjoy ourselves in the moment. I can confidently say the Korean tea ceremony was a HUGE HIT for both our families, everyone was so entertained and it was honestly a wonderful way to bring both our families cultures together, and to showcase my Korean traditions to my husband's family. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The dates and chestnut toss (to wish you lots of children), the passing of the tea, the sharing of the date with your husband, the piggyback ride at the end of the ceremony -- it was a truly fun experience. Mrs. Yang was right beside us, talking us through the ceremony and each step. After the ceremony, as the food for the reception was coming out, she went back to the dressing room to help us out of our clothes. All the food items on the Paebaek table, Mrs. Yang left for our families to enjoy during the rest of the evening and her team did a superb job tidying up and heading out. To break it down further: Here's what you will need: 1. Book your Paebaek with Mrs. Yang - all the rentals will be provided 2. Have a family member/MC to comment and guide the audience along with the ceremony (if you have two different languages, a Korean translator would be helpful!) (She does not provide sound equipment, but we used a mic and some standard speakers for our MC) 3. You will need about a 12ftx12ft space, or a stage so everyone can see 4. A changing room for you and your spouse to be assisted when changing I was hesitant at first to do a Paebaek ceremony because there just weren't enough vendors to choose from in the Bay Area. I was SO RELIEVED my mom introduced me to Mizzland's Mrs. Yang. She was truly a remarkable planner and it was everything I wanted in a Paebaek. To this day, months later, my family and friends still talk about how wonderful it was to witness a Korean tea ceremony! Thank you so much, Mizzland! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Grab your best Korean-speaking family/friend and head over to plan your Paebaek!

Neha ended up being such a great fit and really understood what I needed to feel comfortable and confident in my lehengas. It was an extremely collaborative process, and with Neha's highly detail-oriented approach, the final outfits were exactly what I wanted. In all, she helped with two lehengas cholis and a suit. Another great bonus is Neha has an extensive collection of boutique clothes, and one of my bridesmaids was able to find her perfect outfit for the Sangeet that was on theme and comfortable. She has many other options that range from the more traditional side to the more modern or Indowestern side. Highly recommend giving her boutique a look if you're attending an Indian wedding and want to find a beautiful piece to wear!
