What should have been an exciting and joyful moment -- receiving my custom green lehenga for my sangeet -- turned into an exhausting and deeply upsetting ordeal. At the recommendation of our wedding planner, I was excited about this outfit and was looking forward to working with Toral. However, the blouse I received was a completely different shade of green from what I put in an order for - Toral had that outfit in her store already, so it seems hard to mess up. After several frustrating back-and-forths, it was eventually corrected to be closer to what I bought, but the real nightmare began with the skirt. When I arrived to pick up what was supposed to be a brand new outfit, I noticed a hole in the skirt -- a brand new skirt that I had never even taken home. Instead of taking responsibility, Toral accused me in front of mother-in-law of damaging it myself in front of her. I started to cry - why would I sabotage my own wedding outfit? The audacity and disrespect in that moment were beyond appalling. Despite this, she said she would repair it. But when I returned again to pick it up, I found yet another hole in the skirt. At that point, I took a photo as evidence and left empty-handed, heartbroken. The fabric (organza) was clearly damaged and looked worn -- as if it had been reused from a previous client. It was not the brand-new, pristine garment I paid for. I was willing to work with her by either getting my deposit back, using the deposit towards another outfit, or having her remake it (if I got it after the wedding, I would have been open to that). Instead of working with me on a viable solution, her only offer was to "fix it" by sewing now the SECOND hole. If there are two holes in a brand new outfit that should suffice enough to just make a new one at that point. The final insult? I lost $1,325 in deposit (yes, it was contractually non-refundable) and never received a wearable outfit. Toral's dismissiveness, her refusal to take accountability, and her blatant dishonesty make her one of the most untrustworthy individuals I've ever encountered in the bridal industry. Weddings are emotional enough -- no bride should ever have to deal with this kind of stress, disrespect, or deceit. I genuinely hope no future bride goes through what I did. Please, save yourself the heartbreak and go elsewhere.

I entrusted her with multi-generation family heirloom antique wedding Sari (grandmother's and mother's) from India. It had priceless sentimental value to us. Unfortunately, she incorporated about 1% of it in a new piece for us. I asked where is the rest of the fabric and she said it was thrown in the garbage. I still wonder years later where did that fabric really go.

She is very accommodating and works with her customers to make unique customized pieces. She will also accept photos from customers to help have custom pieces made for weddings and special events. She states that she can rush alterations in 2 days but typically takes 7-10 days. If extensive embroidery is required for pieces, she typically has pieces sent to India (to her sister) and returned in 6-8 weeks. She was very friendly and gave me a break down of the types of materials used and the quality work put into her pieces. This is the equivalent of having pieces sent to India to have them made to the latest style, except she's in a local area! I'm excited to have found this place and thoroughly impressed! The dresses were sent to alterations by Vama, Sunday - a few adjustments and we left the boutique for a reception in our outfits. In essentially 48 outfits we went from having nothing to wear to having the perfect outfits. Plus accessories with the option for hair and make up. Vama does it all. What made this experience great - the owner is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The quality vs price was above anywhere else we went. The staff goes above and beyond.
