Shrimp spring rolls with a peanut sauce.

This place is a nice place to have lunch. I just love their food! And it beats other places prices! I love the peanut sauce.

This little place was wonderful! We were a little wary at first as there was only 1 car in the lot when we got here and we almost didn't go in. I'm so glad we decided to give it a shot. The food was amazing! And more people showed up (I'm sure it's much busier when school is in session) I definitely recommend going here if you love Thai food!

Pad CU

I was really craving Thai food so I ordered delivery from here. I ordered the Pad CU Lunch ($9), which also came with an egg roll and miso soup. For $9 this whole meal was pretty good. The pad see ew really hit the spot and was exactly what I wanted for my Thai food. The noodles were cooked perfectly and were nice and sweet, although I think that the broccoli could have been cooked just a little bit more to be more tender. I also think that the dish would be perfectly fine without the purple cabbages. I just picked all of my out. The miso soup and the egg roll were nice additions to the lunch. The soup was really comforting although was a bit confusing since miso soup is more of a Japanese thing. The egg roll wrapper was still flaky and crispy when I received it and had a crunch to it. My meal was super satisfying for my craving and I was completely happy with what I got. Definitely would get this again.

"Beef" Laarb.

I have lived by one mantra in My life and that is that I have never had BAD THAI! That was blown out of the water with Khow Thai of Boulder, Co. It started with the fact that ALL of the food delivery services they use stated they were closed, I called to check and they were indeed OPEN, but, couldn't deliver. I decided to drive down as it was only a Mile or so away. I am a huge fan of Beef Laarb, even inauthentic ones! I ordered this to eat in and I have no idea what they served, but, even after double checking with the staff that it was beef... it was WHITE/GREY and just about a single slice of tiny beef that tasted weird, off/bad almost. never mind it's appearance. I ordered a Green Beef curry to go and upon arrival home it was watery and again a minuscule amount of meat. I will add that the food across the two dishes was HORRENDOUS and completely INEDIBLE! , I will be attempting to get a refund from my Credit Card company as their website denied my "contact us" request...See pics! Never would I waste money here again, $31 WASTED!

Drunken Noodles

I am a huge Thai food fan, and I honestly used to LOVE and swear by this place. But in the past year or two the quality has just decreased tremendously. :( I don't know what happened, but now when I go I feel like Know Thai's food is increasingly flavorless, their noodles (like the wide noodles used for Drunken noodles) are really weird and mushy now, not even resembling what they're supposed to look like, and I just think their food is overall disappointing at this point. Really sad leaving this review cuz Know Thai was my go to before, but yeah :( I kept trying to give it another chance continually, but I've been continually disappointed over the past year, waiting for the quality of the food to come back.

Well it has been a long minute since I last posted a review. The truth is, I have just been very busy with work and life in general, and we really haven't ventured out a lot to new eateries late... but we did check out a place we've been driving past for well over a year. My partner and I moved to Boulder from the SoCal/LA area, which (if you were not aware) was the west coast birthplace of Thai quinine in the USA. So needless to say, we eaten at a lot of very good, very authentic Thai restaurants. Khow Thai is a tasty gem in Boulder on Broadway just north of 'The Hill' area. The service was fast and friendly. The food is was amazingly delicious and as authentic as it get. We saw as we were leaving Khow Thai, that they were voted 'Best Thai' in Boulder for the last several years. From what I experienced today, they've certainly earned that.

Has always been my favorite Thai food in Boulder! Quick, consistent service; delicious and reliable food! I don't know why Khow thai has 3.5 stars, but I definitely don't think that's an accurate reflection of how great this place is! Definitely worth stopping in next time you wanna get some noods.

We tried it this evening and liked it a lot. I see why it is so popular. But do know they do not have identical menu items to the Denver locations. This fact did cause me to be disappointed when one of the items arrived at the table. My husband loved it though, as he is a big fan of cream cheese which I am not. I only eat items like NY cheesecake and on bagels with lox. What I wanted to try was the roasted duck dumpling but got the fried wonton with cream cheese and duck. It had a good sauce as well as a slice of mango and a pinch of pea shoots on the top. I do love baby pea shoots and though not what I envisioned, I did eat my portion. The shrimp spring rolls were some of the best I have had in a while. I had a hot oolong tea and my husband had a Thai tea. We both liked our drinks which were exactly as we expected. We also had a "small" plate of bbq chicken which was hardly a small thing. A large tasty section of chicken on a bed of lettuce with a side of shredded carrot and cabbage with a very nice sauce. It was perfect for my husband but as I am not allowed chicken skin, it was harder to eat but tasty. Such a bigger serving than we expected, we brought enough home for lunch tomorrow. The staff were friendly, helpful yet not intrusive. The setting was perfect for me and for all as the variety of styles allow for accommodating any needs. Pricing was average for Boulder and more than worth it. We will be back and try more items. Often have lunch with a friend who drives and it will be perfect for that this summer.

Aloy Thai Cuisine is a great spot in Boulder for flavorful, satisfying Thai food. We arrived during happy hour so ordered the pork egg rolls (3 piece) thin flaky pastry stuffed with ground pork, cabbage, carrots, and woonsen noodle, deep fried with sweet and sour sauce and crab wontons (4 piece) cream cheese and crab meat stuffed in wonton shell served with sweet and sour sauce. The pork egg rolls were crispy on the outside with a generous, tasty filling, perfectly fried and not greasy. The crab wontons were a highlight, light, crunchy, and packed with creamy filling, paired nicely with a sweet dipping sauce. I ordered the BBQ chicken entree that is marinated and grilled and served with spicy tamarind or sweet and sour sauce. It came with so many fresh veggies and I loved the tamarind sauce so much I had to order extra. The BBQ chicken was tender and well-seasoned with a slightly smoky, savory-sweet taste that really stood out. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable, great for a relaxed meal without feeling rushed. If you're in Boulder and craving Thai food done right, Aloy Thai Cuisine is definitely worth checking out. It was a very reasonable price point for the quantity of food.

The chicken was probably cooked enough, but barely and to the point where it gave me slight pause. I got spicy level 4, and it had a pretty good amount of heat that met my expectations of a 4 out of 5 heat level. The ratio of noodle to chicken to garnishes is good. The food court that it's in doesn't feel clean, but I don't think that's the fault of Thai Avenue. I used to come here 2-3 times a week for a couple years over 10 years ago when I was a college student, and back then it was easily 5 stars. I heard a lot of people say that the place changed and it's not what it used to be, so I went out of my way to go back and try them again. Sadly it's true that they arent what they used to be. Seems to be different cooks. I wonder where the original cooks went because I want to eat at wherever that is.

I was expecting a typical food hall and instead it felt much more elevated and thoughtfully designed than that. The way the coffee shop and bar sort of flow together makes the whole space feel really social without being chaotic, and the rooftop patio honestly makes it feel bigger than you'd expect from the outside. At the time, it felt surprisingly modern for Boulder in a really good way. It's also one of the best places to take visitors because everyone can find something they actually want and the quality across the different vendors is consistently solid. Huge bonus that there's a parking garage directly across the street too because parking in Boulder can otherwise become its own adventure.

The egg was the most foul bite, very chemically and I immediately gagged. Honestly hurt my appetite for the night. Maybe during happy hour it's more reasonable. We sat on the roof and it was nice.
