Both were genuinely well-executed -- the fried rice had real char and sweetness instead of tasting like a steam-table version, and the shawarma was juicy with a good sear on the edges, not the dry, overcooked version you get at a lot of fast-casual spots. Rosetta runs all eight concepts under one kitchen team rather than independent vendors, and it shows in how consistent everything tastes across stalls. We were at the main-floor bar downstairs, not the rooftop one, and the bartenders there were the highlight of the night. Attentive, fast, and clearly used to reading a group that's celebrating something. I've been to Rosetta Hall several times now, but I still remember how surprised I was the first time I walked in. I was expecting a typical food hall and instead it felt much more elevated and thoughtfully designed than that. The way the coffee shop and bar sort of flow together makes the whole space feel really social without being chaotic, and the rooftop patio honestly makes it feel bigger than you'd expect from the outside. At the time, it felt surprisingly modern for Boulder in a really good way. It's also one of the best places to take visitors because everyone can find something they actually want and the quality across the different vendors is consistently solid. Huge bonus that there's a parking garage directly across the street too because parking in Boulder can otherwise become its own adventure. read more

So impressed with this food hall. I love the slightly elevated vibe and the rooftop is stunning. The covered couches on the rooftop are so much fun and my toddler loved eating there. Multiple staff asked us if we had any questions and welcomed us on arrive. The staff even helped bring our food upstairs for us. The tekkedon bowl (essentially a poke bowl with soy sauce and sirracha on the side) and chicken shawarma were both delicious. We also enjoyed the sampling plate of falafel, stuffed dates (soaked in honey with pistachio), hummus, pitta and veggies. There's a great variety of food options (though the Mexican was closed when we were there). They do have kids options at each spot (grilled cheese, pasta with butter or tomato sauce and fried rice) though they aren't listed on a menu. The roast beef sandwich was okay, needed more sauce/flavor and the bbq seasoned fries were a bit too salty for me. Good texture and fry on it though. Drinks are extremely expensive and not that good. The concept is tried and true in Colorado. We love a food hall. Rosetta, to my knowledge, opened prior to the pandemic, and it's still going strong. In the heart of Boulder, with some lovely rooftop views overlooking the Flatirons, it's a place to be seen. Contrary to other food halls, their shtick is that all the concepts are from the same team. It's a great format where each stall houses a different nationality of cuisine. Clearly labeled: American (FLATIRON) Thai (CHIANG MAI) Italian (AMALFI) Middle Eastern (AMIRA) Latin American (CRUZ) Japanese (YATAI) Patisserie (PETITE FLEUR) In addition you'll find two bars, one of the main floor and one on the rooftop. I like how they had plenty of dish bins scattered throughout the venue. Sometimes at these types of places you don't know whether to bus your tables or not. You can assume the former here! Thai was the move on this particular day. Who doesn't love Pad Thai? This plate was a beauty, a surefire showstopper as I captured a noodle pull in millenial fashion. Pro tip: ask for the spicy and vinegary sauce on the side, similar to a nuoc chim in Vietnamese cooking! I must say, this was delicious. The noodles had great texture. I like the combination of chicken and tofu. It was herbaceous and vibrant. Like many "chef-inspired" places, I wish the portion was a little heftier. It was light on the noodles and those are the best part! Service could've been friendlier, too. I hate to say it, but it's the truth. I did go up to them after I finished my meal to tell them it was delicious, because it was and they deserve to hear it! Love to see them still in stride after six years. The line for this bar seemed like it was going to take a while but it actually went really quick and we were in Rosetta Hall within 10 minutes. All I got was a beer but the bartender was happy to answer my questions about pricing so I could find an affordable drink and I ended up getting a can of beer for $5. The bartender was quick with our green tea shots and service in general and then we headed to the dance floor. There was a decent amount of people at the bar (mainly 20-something year olds) and it had a great space for dancing with platformed steps by the DJ booth which was a great spot to dance at if you wanted a birds eye view. Once I was up there, though, I was definitely surprised there was even a line outside because there was plenty of space for more people to come in so I'm not sure what that was about. The hanging lamps looked kind of like the sims diamonds which made me laugh but the changing colors made them a fun vibe with the dance floor. My only real complaint about this place was the music, the DJs were two college age guys who looked like they didn't really know what they were doing, played every song for way too long, didn't know how to do transitions, and played kind of lame music (obviously that's a matter of opinion but it didn't seem like people were as much there for the music as the vibe). Overall, this place seemed to me like the epitome of Boulder nightlife, which is not necessarily my vibe but was fun to experience nonetheless and I enjoyed the bar as a whole. If you want to dance and don't really care about the music, this is a great place to go! read more

This is such a fun and cute place in the cute college town of Boulder! It's an elevated, upscale looking bar with plenty of food options and great drinks. We came here on a Friday night for live music, it was supposed to be on the rooftop but it was raining so they had it inside and we had a great time dancing and listening to great music with great people. Little disappointed though because on their website it said on Fridays the food places are open until 10 or 11 I believe and we got there just a minute passed 9pm and all the food places were closed except one. They said when school picks up they would stay open later but we were disappointed about the inaccurate information on the website. The bar was busy, so I totally understood that service might be slower. That said, my experience with the bartender was honestly bizarre. We waited a while to order drinks at the bar (again, not a problem at all) and when the bartender took my order, I asked for an espresso martini -- apparently a huge no-no. He just looked at me and said, "Yeah, no." I thought he was joking at first because it was so blunt (and I was under the impression this is a cocktail bar?), but he was completely serious and told me to "try again." When I didn't respond within like three seconds (because... what?), he just walked away and took another group's order. I completely understand if cocktail service isn't available after a certain time, but that could have been communicated in a way that wasn't so rude and weirdly hostile. It made the whole interaction super uncomfortable, especially after spending ~$30 on a couple bottom shelf vodka crans. Then things somehow got even weirder. My friends and I went to dance, and I realized pretty quickly that I had lost my phone. We went back to the bar to ask if anyone had turned one in, and it was the same bartender. He went into the back, came out a few minutes later laughing, and told us no phone had been turned in. Meanwhile, we kept calling my phone over and over, and someone kept answering for a few seconds and then hanging up. Which was already strange, but then we tracked the phone to the back, and it turned out they had had it back there the whole time? I'm generally a very understanding person, and I know people have off nights, but this whole experience felt unnecessarily rude and honestly kind of personal, despite the fact that I had never seen this man in my life. All in all, I probably wouldn't come back for the nightlife aspect. It's difficult finding a place to eat that will satisfy everyone in a group, but Rosetta Hall is guaranteed to do just that. This food hall contains several restaurants that offer a variety of food options from middle eastern, Thai, Chinese, American, Italian and more. There is indoor seating and a fantastic rooftop with misting fans, shade and views of the flat irons. I love the ease of ordering. From the comfort of you seat, you can view the menu of every restaurant from your phone and even place your order with Apple Pay (or a regular credit card). When your order is up, you simply go down to retrieve it. I ordered a fresh hummus plate as well as a spicy and flavorful tofu dish from two different restaurants. Both food items were filling, wholesome and flavorful. They have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options as well as an entire bakery with lots of sweet treats. The rooftop also has a bar in addition to excellent ambiance. This restaurant is a stones throw from the pearl street mall and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser. Outstanding food and way beyond my expectations for a food hall! We stopped in for a late dinner on a Monday night and the place was still busy, with a lively crowd and great vibes. Beautiful interior with a fully stocked bar and lots of open seating. It was cold outside, so we didn't get to experience the rooftop area. Seven individual restaurants offer a variety of options that you can conveniently order from your phone and pick up at their stations. We opted for middle eastern and Thai, as well as dessert and ordered: Moroccan carrot dip, beef pad see ew, chicken satay and a tahini brownie. Everything was amazing! The carrot dip came with assorted veggies and warm, soft pita, and had a complex savory-sweet flavor. The Thai dishes were perfect spice level, flavorful and tender meats. The fries were good very crispy and the plantains were yummy! The not so great: the food, the shrimp tostadas were sooo salty. Blah, do not recommend. I love finding local food halls when I visit a new city, so Rosetta Hall fit the bill for a girls trip with two close friends of mine. It's always nice to find a place with a lot of choices when you're craving different things in a group. We walked in on a Friday night for dinner and found it was PACKED with all sorts of people from families to college kids. It was hard to find an empty, clean table, coupled by the fact that it was unclear whether anybody worked there besides the people behind the food counters. We waited around for at least 5 minutes before settling into a table. We each picked food from different places and found that all 3 of the dishes we ordered were mediocre at best. I ordered the Lomo Saltado from Cruz (Latin American) and it was WAY too salty. My friends' Ragu Neopolitan pasta and artichoke pasta from Amalfi (Italian) were lacking flavor & not memorable at all. I was overall disappointed with Rosetta and it might stem from the fact that the food stalls aren't independent businesses outside of this, at least as far as I can tell. Based on the food we had, it feels like they tried to offer diverse food options but didn't REFINE the actual execution of them. Overall, I would only return for drinks & good vibes, but would make sure I eat before coming here again! read more

This is a particularly pleasant modern "food court" sort of establishment with an incredibly nice rooftop patio. The variety of food is superb and the environment is entirely pleasant. We hold monthly meetings here for our group, NOCOVA (Northern Colorado Visual Arts), and everyone seems to enjoy it. On the weekends, parking is free at the parking garage across the street, so that makes things really easy. The restrooms are gender neutral, clean, and all of the automatic bathroom tools actually function pretty well (who doesn't hate it when they don't, really?). Gracia coffee makes a great tiramisu latte (among other things) and drip coffee refills are free. The food here is a little pricey, but it's in line with other "modern food court" sort of establishments, so I won't knock them for it. Really, its the environment here that really makes it stand out. It's just a really pleasant place to hang out. Recommended. read more

This place has it all! This was definitely an elevated food hall experience that I really enjoyed. Walking in was a little confusing, but basically you choose your table and order food there using a QR code. Someone will come around to get your drink order, or you can go to the bar. I love how many cuisine options there are; everyone in my 9-person group was satisfied with their meal and drink choices. I was so excited to get the Garden Spritz now that it is summer again, but it unfortunately was a wild disappointment. I remember it being the most refreshing cocktail on the menu, but now it is sour and does not taste of the same quality.
