First off, I want to say the service was outstanding. However, the staff can only do as well as what the kitchen staff is putting out. Caesar salad, I ordered was not only not cold, croutons were actually stale. Next, was the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and green beans . I ordered without the mushrooms in the gravy, and as it would happen, I did not get gravy, but it was covered in mushrooms. Good thing I like mushrooms ..... The overall meal was ok, given the salad was removed and the rest of the meal was $13.23. I gave my server a $10.00 for her work and probably will not be back. read more

I come here on a regular basis and it's always a good time. The bartenders are amazing -- friendly, attentive, and they really keep the place moving even when it's busy. Food and drinks are consistent, the atmosphere is laid-back, and it's an easy spot to relax, catch a game, and hang out. The service was excellent. The seafood platter however had tiny shrimp and small pieces of fried flounder. I ordered a Long Island iced tea and it had foam on the top like a beer and it tasted terrible. Low and behold I asked for a replacement and was told that they don't do that and i would be charged for the drink regardless of if i drank it or not. Stopped in twice over the weekend to catch some sports. It is, after all, a sports bar. And that's what it is. The food is pretty predictable and pretty average (note: not bad, but it's not anything to write home about). Had wings and fries and they were about as expected (the "hot" scale is a little exaggerated...spicy Korean BBQ wasn't very spicy). Nice selection of local and some national/international beers on tap. Full bar. Wonderfully friendly service at the bar, as I imagine one would expect in NC. Three stars only because the food is just meh -- but emphasis on friendly, responsive service and a MILLION TVs. read more

Two bad experiences in a row: 1) Ordered a beer with dinner and bartender asked if I wanted a tall irregular and I ordered a regular. When he came back with the beer I told him that I just saw the beer special was for a tall and asked him to change my order as it was less expensive (more for less). He said he couldn't change my order. 2) This Thursday my date and I ordered dinner and drinks. I ordered wine and she ordered a bourbon drink. Bar maid asked what preference of bourbon and try r answer was Woodford. Two problems... The wine was expired and I asked for different one. The maid said that she couldn't "refund". So I ordered and paid for a replacement. When the bill came she charged for 2 Glenlivit shots for a total of $29. I told her we did not order GL and her response was that they were out of Woodford and management "told them" to charge the GL price which is insanely expensive. The bottom line is that you cannot trust the bar staff at this place. Nor can you expect good customer service. Both of these staff members have been there as long as I've been going there. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE IN OUR VISIT. Health reasons for not wanting to sit at a High-Top plus they split our group of 9. When we asked if we could be reseated, the waitress said "I don't know go ask the hostess." When I approached the Hostess, they just looked at me. I asked if they could pull two tables together - she asked if we wanted to put tables together. I said yes, or we are leaving. She walked away without replying. A different hostess said I will do it. Right by the hostess table - there were six (6) empty tables. This was handled very poorly and it felt resentful that we asked for this. We were seated immediately. Our drinks and food came out at a good pace - not too slow, not too fast. Their menu was extensive and had the variety of foods that I enjoy. The bacon cheese fries and seafood platter were excellent. If they would've layered the shrimp, fish and fries with extra seasoning like Cajun seasoning or Old Bay, it would've been perfection! My hubby liked the Philly cheesesteak but not as well as Jersey Mike's Subs' version. Our server Katie H was awesome! We had frozen groceries in the car so we loved that they were timely with getting us seated, serving our meals and bringing the check - all without our feeling rushed. The only thing I marked them down about was that the booth seat hadn't been cleaned prior to our being seated and had crumbs there from the previous patrons. I must start by saying, I don't understand the 2.5 star rating here currently. We came on a Saturday night and it far exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so friendly and helpful: our waitress and all of the managers that we encountered. The atmosphere is very fun, a lot of televisions with different sports games on, and a variety of food. Speaking of food, I got the firehouse burger with the fries. The burger was so juicy and flavorful. My only comment is that the burger was so juicy it made the bottom bun disintegrate. The fries were a great addition and I loved that they were hand cut and fresh. I can't wait to come back here and try more items off the menu. Great experience here! read more

I was NOT satisfied with my service at this establishment. We came here on 11.22.25 at around 9:30pm. As a current worker in the food industry I am aware how to handle a situation like the one I had. I ordered the Buffalo chicken dip and the 10 wings. My buffalo dip was amazing but my wings were burnt. I told my amazing waitress about my issues and she got the manager on shift to talk to me. I told him my issue and he said that he would take half off of my meal since "that's what you ate" verbatim. My mom said that it wasn't right because even the half of the wings that I ate were still in the basket. My mom asked for the rest of them because she didn't mind the taste but the manager took what was left anyway. He was rude and I nor my mom enjoyed our service. We just had another experience like this at a different location as well. I will NOT be coming back to any of their establishments. Worst management experience ever! read more

I know this is a popular sports bar, and I know the girls let it hang out for attention and good tips. My problem is they cater to the men mostly ones who come in groups and single buying the booze. This place she be more for a basic bar not a " family friendly style restaurant " since it has changed so much over time. I know when covid happened they struggled but this has gotten a tad bit too much to bring in business. Owners care more about the income than reputation and the servers and hostess are rude. They hang all,over the men customers, managers, and male staff. The dress code needs major revamp along with attitudes. The food is not that good to deal with rude staff members catering to men only and shorts so short it doesn't even look comfortable. read more

After a long day of driving (Pittsburgh to HHI), we stopped in Mooresville for dinner and rest before resuming our journey Saturday morning. We really just wanted a simple meal tonight and this fit the bill. My family of six started the meal w/ two servings of spinach and artichoke dip. We all enjoyed it, though we were a bit short on chips. Fine. Our server, Emma, kindly brought another basket of chips. As Kickback Jack's struck me as a burger joint, that was my order. My assessment was correct. The burger, like the dip, was very good. The pint of Wicked Weed Pernicious Ale accompanied my meal nicely. The food was exactly what I needed tonight and the service was also good. My criticism of this restaurant is that they shorted us on chips (not a problem) and then charged us $3 for the additional chips. This is a solid sports bar, best in Mooresville imo. You're not coming here for white linen and fine dining but the food is always tasty, I enjoy the tenders tossed in sauce, burgers, wraps and Philly. They've added a newer rotating menu of apps that we've enjoyed. The service has been consistently good over the years we've been coming here. Much better than many places these days, always well staffed. Beer list is nice and well priced with daily specials. TVs all over the place with every event you can think of. We stopped in on a Friday night for a quick bite. We didn't expect everything to be such a pleasant surprise. The waitress was phenomenal and made sure we had everything we needed she checked on us regularly. The food came fast and every thing was steaming hot when we got it. We got the fried pickles and they were perfectly crispy and we really enjoyed them. My husband got the buffalo chicken wrap and he said he really liked that the cheese was melted on the inside and not cold. I got the chicken tenders they were huge and were very fresh. I had plenty left to take home. I liked the loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli I got with mine. If you like sugary cocktails the drinks would be good for you however I was not impressed with the house Margarita the mix was overly sweet. We loved that we could relax and have a conversation because the music wasn't overly loud. My first visit to this particular restaurant. The dining area was clean and had a sports bar atmosphere. Pretty much what you would expect. I came at a time when it wasn't too busy obviously. Was seated right away and my drink order taken. But from that point on the server was not around. I could see her standing at the front chatting with others and pretty much ignoring my table. I finally had to flag down another server and ask if my order could be taken. So on service I would say inattentive and slow. My glass sat empty most of my visit. I truly expected more service. The food was good and prepared as I asked. Nothing exceptional in the menu items. But they ones I ordered were good. So my rating is for the food not for the service. I may try again sometime since it is difficult to judge on one visit. But as things sit I cannot recommend at this point. read more

I prepaid for my order so once inside the restaurant no Wait just picked up my order with my name labeled. In-Out less than 2 minutes. Well...third time is a charm???? Not for us. 3rd time is the last time. We have dined in and grubhubbed and had terrible service in house and both of recent grub hub orders included subpar food and missing entrees with so much red tape for a refund we scrapped the idea. Wings were to be grilled but so charred and burned they were inedible. I wish I had taken a photo but tossed them in the trash before I decided to write this review. You could have drawn on the sidewalk with them they were so over cooked. Firecracker shrimp ($15) didn't arrive this time and my burger meal missing in the last order. Ugh!! New Fun Spot tin Mooresville Tried to go last Saturday night but the crowd was unreal. Car were parked in every spot with overflow into the gas station next door as well as the apartment complex behind and Sam's club across the street. Those places were probably not happy. We'll try again later. The try again later was the next day, Sunday right after Church. They open at 11:00 and we walked in at 11:00 with the last of the wait staff so we were the first patrons there. Promptly seated by a charming hostess and our server was there shortly. Looking over the rather full menu, we decided on a couple of interesting items. I ordered the Shrimp BLT which turned out to be delicious. My wife started with the Baked Potato Soup followed with Philly Cheesesteak. The Cheesesteak was very good though not exceptional but the Potato Soup was excellent. It's a fun atmosphere and obviously lives up to it's Sportsbar description. Heavy emphasis on basketball and NASCAR, ACC teams and of course Davidson. Fun place and I can see where they can be overwhelmed at times. By the time we left an hour later, the place was again like it was the previous evening and the staff is learning but will grow into it. read more

I really want to believe that since this is a newly opened restaurant, there are just kinks to be worked out. I want to believe it. But, I don't think so. I mean, how much can you change before it would be decent? You walk in, and are immediately greeted by lovely hostesses in cute low cut shirts and short shorts. They were honestly very sweet, and the first place that comes to mind in comparison is Hooters. Our party of six sat pretty quickly and we got our drink orders in. Once we got our drinks, we waited a good while to order our food - no problem. We all order our appetizers and food, and our waitress is then no where to be found. Our food starts coming out delivered to us one at a time by every waitress other than our own! My food comes out wrong, and two of our appetizers are still not out. Basically, as my meal, I'm eating cheese fries as I'm waiting for my pizza to come out. Someone delivers my correct meal, and our waitress comes out and says "I'm so sorry about your pizza! But it wasn't my fault - I put the order in correctly!!" Okay. Our friends never got their appetizer and our waitress said "Oh, sorry. I'll take it off your bill." Thanks. Glad they didn't have to pay for their food that never showed up. About 20 minutes after we finished eating, our waitress asked if we needed anything. We asked for the checks and some to-go boxes. She then proceeded to forget the to-go boxes. But she remembered our checks! Food: 0/5 Cheese fries tasted like Kraft american cheese that they heated up over some soggy fries. Pizza was meh. Fried shrimp tasted like frozen shrimp that was put in the fryer, etc. etc. etc. Service: 1/5 Our waitress was nice. And so were the other 8 that we saw walking around. The whole place was filled with nice, pretty waitresses. None of the ones I saw were actually doing one specific job. It just seemed like they all wandered around. Environment: 1/5 The waitresses that were wandered gathered at the table next to us to fold silverware and gossip loudly. All-in-all, this place needs a ton of work, and I will not be back after this experience. I rarely get upset with a restaurant experience, but this did it. It costed my fiancé and I over $30 for reheated frozen shrimp/chicken, Kraft cheese that came out late, and the wrong pizza. read more
