I have been a hobbyist of various martial arts for years. Since day 1, the environment at Rounders was a perfect fit. The people are friendly and helpful. The hours and the selection of martial arts classes are excellent. Every last coach knows their stuff, and they teach both kids and adults classes with professionalism and care. I am also always grateful that the black belts, pro fighters, and other experienced trainees are so helpful during class. Not only do you have knowledgable coaches, but your peers support you here too. I have seen multiple martial arts gyms over the years, especially in Orange County, and while all have nice things to say about them, Rounders just hits every single mark. It's a nice and spacious facility with a great setup, but the people are what make it stand out. My only complaint is that I wish I had started here sooner.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few weeks now, and I seriously cannot say enough…read morepositive things about OC Muay Thai. To start, my husband takes once a week privates and is signed up for their weekly classes. I'm currently in grad school so I take once a week privates. Let me tell you: 1.) You will never find a group of more genuine, kind hearted and caring people to teach you Muay Thai or boot camp. Neil coaches my guy and I and he is such an honest and real person. He pushes you, but always safely. David, the owner, is the coolest and he is so honest - he really cares about the people who come to stay here and even those who just come through. Hamid is an absolute joy to be around - he's always happy and energetic. Despite me entering the gym with 0 knowledge in Muay Thai, I have never once felt judged, embarrassed, or any other negative emotions because these dudes just aren't those types of people. 2.) the gym itself is pretty freaking awesome. It's large, it's spacious, the equipment is good and clean and the ring is kept clean. There's never any weird smell (I'm looking at you 24 hour fitness) and I love that their ceilings are high as hell so that there's just a ton of space. 3.) I cant speak for the classes since I haven't been, but husband LOVES them and he is always happy to go and come back from them. He tells me about how helpful everyone is and how even though people are at different stages, everyone holds each other up. There's no "me versus you" feeling. Everyone is here to learn and egos are checked at the door. 4.) The privates with Neil will kick your ass. Enough said. Neil is a lovely, personable guy and he will push you - but as I said, always safely. For example I got a foot cramp today and he stopped the lesson for a few minutes to help me breathe and stretch through it. All in all, I love this place and it's becoming a second home to my husband and I. I look forward to every day that I come in here and I can't wait to get better.

He loves to rough play and doesn't always know when to stop, so we wanted something that would help him build more discipline and self-control. Total MMA has been such a great fit for him. Since starting, we've seen a big difference in his restraint, focus, and confidence. He now does kickboxing before his BJJ class, and he absolutely loves it. It definitely challenges him and tires him out, but in the best way. It keeps him active, engaged, and excited to keep learning. It's also been really special because his dad started taking the adult classes too, so now they both do kickboxing and BJJ. It's become something they can enjoy together, which has made the experience even more meaningful for our family. We're so grateful for the positive impact Total MMA has had on my child.

When they first started in a trial class, they were welcomed by the other students, supported by their peers and made new friendships. I have observed every single class my children have been in and I see nothing but enjoyment and advancement in skill. I see coaches that genuinely care about their students respect for their parents in an all around family and community based environment. The staff has continues to improve safety measures, hygiene measures, and as a healthcare provider, I'm impressed by the measure staff and coaches take to sanitize the mats and keep equipment clean. I have never noticed that the coaches were not attentive to all students. In fact I have to commend this gym for being well staffed with coaches that truly pay attention to all the students, that's not easy to do, but they manage to so. My kids absolutely love coming to classes and we will continue to be patrons of this establishment. Don't believe the VERY FEW negative reviews on here. If you're interested in this gym take a trial class and see for yourself. It's a really great place for kids to learn jujutsu and Muay Thai. .

After a ton of research, we decided to take a trial class at Legacy...and it completely exceeded our expectations! Every class is creative and different, so the kids never get bored, and it's actually fun to watch as a parent! My daughter comes out happy, tired, and excited to come back each time. From day one, I was welcomed into a warm, supportive community that truly cares about its students. Since starting Tai Chi here, I've noticed a real improvement in my breathing (I have asthma) and my body feels stronger, more balanced, and more at ease overall. The benefits have been both physical and calming, and I look forward to class every week. Doug, the owner, is absolutely amazing. His passion for Tai Chi and Shaolin arts is obvious, and he genuinely cares about every person in the class. He takes the time to give thoughtful corrections, explains movements clearly, and always offers alternatives if you have any physical limitations. His depth of knowledge and care really set this place apart. When I first became interested in Tai Chi, I tried checked out tik tok or YouTube videos but it was all over the place so I began my search for an in person place (in December) it's not February and taking an in-person class is a completely different experience. The personalized guidance, hands-on corrections, and insight you receive here are things you simply cannot get from a video. It has made all the difference in my progress and confidence. I'm so excited to continue my Tai Chi journey here. I highly, highly recommend Tustin Shaolin to anyone looking for Tai Chi! The Shaolin classes also look incredible!
