I had my daughters 3rd birthday here and everything was awesome! My daughter's bday happened to be on Mother's Day and we celebrated on that day too! Working with Rowena was great! She made it easy to plan since I am a bit OC. I plan things to be perfect. Some people who do not understand that, may get frustrated when you want to do things a certain way, but Rowena understood, accommodated my needs and helped me set up the afternoon before the party. You can leave set up to them which is what most usually do and just drop off your decor. You can tell she's passionate about her business. Her staff on that day was very helpful as well! The kids had a lot of fun!!! The kids age range were 1-5 years old and they loved it! Thank you Rowena & Kids Play Gallery for being the tiny town in our area & for hosting an awesome event! Totally recommend having your child's birthday party here & coming if you just need a place for them to run around, play and enjoy!

My 21 month old had a blast! It's very clean and i thought a great price for $15 play all day. You must wear socks (adults too). They even have an area if you need to give your LO a snack and they sell some as well.

Today was the first time I took the toddler I nanny to Kids Play Gallery and I'm obsessed! It's great for both kids with a big imagination or kids who need some inspiration. There were several stations/playhouses, including a diner, a spot for "fishing" in a boat and off a pier, a vet's office, a fire station/house on fire/ fire truck, grocery store, boutique, and more! There is also a separate room for parties and to feed your kids snack/lunch without leaving. No time limit either!! No reservation needed, I just called ahead to see how crowded it was. Another plus is that's it's right off the highway in a quiet shopping center. If your kids need you to be more hands-on, the play houses are large enough for adults to stand comfortably. If your kids are more independent, there are benches everywhere to sit back and relax. Covid safety - Ages 2+ have to wear masks. The place is very large with a lot of room to spread out so I never felt covid-unsafe (and I'm the type of person to back out quick when I don't feel good about a place). It was extremely clean, and when I was there a staff member, Glenda, was working SO hard to keep the room clean and the toys organized - and the room shows for it! Thanks for a great morning! Tix are $15 per kid (but ask about a 20% off daily passes). Modified hours are 9:30-2:30

Checked out KPG this week, and it was fabulous! Entire facility was sparkling clean, smelled fresh and was downright beautiful. Rowena (owner) was warm and welcoming. It was easy to admire the attention and detail she used when creating this space. Some friends have mentioned the price tag of getting in....however, I think it is necessary in keeping the place from getting overly crowded, and allows families to truly enjoy the space in all of its glory. My two boys (almost 5 yrs & 2 yrs) both were totally engaged for 2.5 hours. I had to drag them both out (& I think they are still holding a grudge). Their favorite stations were the fire station and the beauty salon......yes, the beauty salon! They have a great party space you can use for snacks, so long as there isn't a party reservation. The bathrooms are fully stocked, & sparkling clean. They even have liners for the changing table! We can't wait to go back, and hope to request punch passes (get you a better deal) from Grandma for my oldest sons bday!

A lot of the kids were so well behaved!

This place was great when we went. It seems clean and tidy. My son and I visited on a Friday evening and there was close to 15 kids there. The majority of the kids were a little oldEr than my son but behaved appropriately. There was more than enough shops for the kids to roam. More than enough toys to play with- although one boy had a cart fuuuuuullll of produce which my son usually loves to play with. They close at 6pm which sEemed a little early, I wish we could have stayEd until 630pm at least. But overall it was a great experience. Unfortunately I live in silver spring so it's a trek to get there. Wish they had a location closer to us!

OMG!! My little one loved playing here. She was hesitant at first and gravitated towards a fire truck that had no one already there. Then, she slowly scoped out the fishing deck and finally settled on the Market but her favorite was the House on fire with the ladder and slide. It was the first coming down a slide all by herself at 22 months. As a parent I loved that the entire gallery was clean and safe for my little one. The Kids Play Gallery houses several imaginary play stations - gas station, ice cream truck, Market, Fire truck, Near by House on Fire, Veterinarian, BeautyShop, Diner and Fishing Pier. They also offer the Little Tykes flint stones like car to play with. I saw children playing and enjoying themselves from toddler to at least 8 years old. There's a party room in the back to give your child snacks. The two restrooms were the cleanest I have seen and the step ladder made it so easy for my little one to step up to wash her hands. I need to invest in one at home. My only complaint is they need more cubbies to hold our shoes and bags. The dads on there iPhones need to supervise their children better. One child bumped her head on the end of the slide and no parent to be found. Two boys were pushing a shopping cart around the carpeted racetrack WAY TOO FAST. Again, their parents did nothing. It was not so safe for smaller children who were in there way

Rowena and her team are a joy to work with and made the entire planning process and day of an absolute breeze.

I came back to host a birthday party. For any parent, looking for a party venue for their child I…read morehighly recommend this place. I booked the option two party about three months in advance. What's great is that you just select a theme from the pictures they have they send you a digital invite to send out and as you get close to the party date, they'll confirm the theme and give you an idea of what the schedule is. That's it that's literally all you have to do. Honestly, if you were to just walk in the door without anything in hand other than a child, your 90 minute birthday party would go off without a hitch. They had the cupcakes, the utensils, the balloons, the beautiful room set up and they had the goodie bags. Honestly, a lot of the parents gave us a compliment on organizing the party and how much fun they had and I felt weird taking any credit for it. We had an assigned party planner that was very invested in making sure everything was running on time and that the room was set up perfectly to our needs. And at the end of the party, they packed everything up for you. What's wild is they actually packed everything back in the original containers organized and ready to go. And then these poor people had to re-organize all the toys that our party had demolished and dragged a different corners of the room all within 30 minutes. I hate planning, and hosting events gives me a lot of anxiety, so to have a party go off successfully with my minimal involvement is amazing.

First of all, the concept of a pretend Main Street USA with shops with all kinds of props and working cash registers with play money inside is brilliant. I remember playing pretend shop keeper with my brother and cousins as kids and we would have loved this place. Secondly, the place is very well maintained and has plenty of space for the more active kids to just run around from shop to shop. My wife loved it so much she booked one of their other locations for our son's birthday which is many months away.

We Rock the Spectrum Review…read more We Rock the Spectrum is an alright place to hang out with my eight-year-old son who has autism and his RBT. It's a sensory-friendly environment, and he's able to move around, play, and regulate in a space that feels welcoming and understanding. I definitely recommend calling ahead to make sure they're not hosting a birthday party. When it's crowded or loud, it can be overwhelming, especially for kids with sensory sensitivities. Overall, it's a good spot on quieter days and can be a nice outlet for kids who benefit from a more inclusive play environment.

We live about equal distance from both, so we decided to try this location today and it was fantastic! The owner was so welcoming and also helpful when we were leaving by offering the kiddos a lollipop if they got their shoes on nicely. We really appreciated being able to stay longer due to the sparse crowd on this rainy day. This location has some items similar to Loudoun, but there are also some differences-the rock wall here is longer, there was a large dome climber that was a hit, there are some different swings, ride on toys, a large tube bouncer , several spinners and balance items, lots of fun pretend play costumes, magnets, bluey toys. There is a zip line and trampoline like Loudoun. The significant difference is that this location is open whereas Loudoun has a closed off infant/toddler area and closed off arts/crafts area. Loudoun also has the teen room in the back. Still trying to figure out which location is larger lol. Both of my kids loved this location as they do the other. We Rock the Spectrum is such an amazing, special place for children of all abilities, and I feel so grateful that we have not one but two relatively close to us. Looking forward to trying to soon to open Pittsburgh location when we visit family later this year.
