Play-X-Scape was the perfect celebration location for my favorite three-year-old this year. The birthday party was a big hit with the adults and children. The ages in attendance were 10-months-old to 84-years-old. Hands down the best feature of this venue is that when you book your party you have the entire run of the place for you and your guests. This was the best! They have lockers in the lobby for everyone to remove their shoes to keep the floor clean that children may be crawling or playing on. Grip socks are required to be worn and are also available for purchase. There are various play areas and activities for the children. There is a large playscape in the center of the room complete with a slide. Play areas include a kitchen, store, diner, animal hospital, puppetry, coloring, legos, blocks, yard size connect four, climbing walls, swings and basketball hoop. Some children did not want to leave!!! Play-X-Scape also has a birthday party room for eating pizza, snacks and cupcakes. Our party was setup for 10 children. It was completely decorated with an animal theme of Young, Wild and Three as part of the booking. The pizza was provided by YaYa's Pizza next door. Ironically we had more adults than children at the party. There are four tables with chairs for adults to sit plus a bench inside of the door. I wish we had brought some games for the adults to play during the 3-hr party. This venue also has open play hours for a place to take your children to explore for $12. Different levels of party packages are also available.

We got a couple things at the snack bar. I got a cup of water and didn't realize I got charged almost 5 bucks. The food we ordered also took over 30 minutes (we only got one thing). Overall, we agreed it was nice to try some place different, but there were more cons for us.

What's nice about this fun center, the birthday designated areas are clearly earmarked and divided by a wall for each party. The playscapes have different age appropriate play areas. Grip socks are required and are also available for purchase. All parties coming into the center must sign in (waiver) before entering. The birthday packages are reasonably priced to include your designated area for a couple of hours, pizza and drinks. We were happy with our hostess. He was very helpful at the end of the party to assist with providing a cart to get the gifts, leftover food and cupcakes to our vehicle. The snack bar was generous to give us drink takeout cups to give our guests the leftover pop to go. FYI: The snack bar pricing is a little high. We show up along with vendors and the manager told us we could not come in til 9am. She was very rude and not pleasant to have communication with. She did end up letting us in around 830 but the air was so thick with tension it was so uncomfortable for all of us setting up. It is not like it was a bunch of kids that were there. It was the birthday girl who was minding her own cause we knew they weren't open. She then asked if he could go play and we informed we don't want her to get yelled at so she would have to wait.
