We had ordered some appetizers but they were a little suspect at first glance; I think I dodged some abdominal discomfort by abstaining based on other's feedback from our group. Also, the draft beer tasted like their lines might have been a little neglected so I switched to bottles. At face value for the just the whirlyball it was perfect, beyond that..

First we had dinner then the rules of whirly ball then we played. Dinner consisted of sub sandwiches, fried apps like those mini tacos, mini eggrolls and mini corn dogs, a salad, hummus, and soup. The soup was the weird thing. It was 94 degrees outside and we got soup. Maybe that was our fault but that was an option and I guess we took it. Food was mid at best. Enough to be full but not very good. The bar was open to us for draft beer and beer in the freezer. I got a blue moon on tap and it was not good. Tasted and smelled fishy. So I gave up drinking it after a few sips. The place is dark. And it was well air conditioned. Lots of big couches and random tables and chairs throughout. They have a lot of video type games and foozball and hockey tables tops. All cost. So bring $1's. Whirly ball was fun. I have to say. Playing with my coworkers was a blast. However. The bumper cars were dirty and smelly. Looked like they hadn't been washed in awhile. The catchers were raggedy and we crushed 1 ball. And it is hot. The air conditioner in the bar is not on the whirly ball court so it gets super hot. And your active so now your hot and sweaty. Then the bumper car is filthy and smelly and not maintained. My seatbelt came out of the seat. That's safe. I am not sure how often they clean and maintenance these bumper cars but it doesn't seem like they do. Gross! The score reflects the fact I had a good time with my co workers but the place itself is kinda dirty and smelly. I guess you have to weigh your fun and good time to disinfecting yourself when you get home.

On standby- plenty of electric powered karts, virtual reality experience and racing sims suited for any age. Better to book exclusively so everyone can enjoy the actual kart racing. But on any given day, you may have to wait your turn as other groups go ahead and finish driving around the track. We were told that each race is 6 long. In reality, the safety orientation/instruction before the race takes longer than driving around the tracks. Then more time is spent on putting the helmet, neck pads and what number is your kart. There was no music to set up the mood. One can sense the strong distinct smell of rubber tires. It made me nauseous. High chairs and cocktail tables are meant for the racers in waiting, while the rest is meant for the guests to sit down, have a snack or chat. Refreshments and meals are available to order. Can you bring your own cake? It seems not to be not a problem for one group that came in today with a cake box and balloons. If you want to try out VR games, it's best time to experience it here together because they can accommodate 4 players at a time. Racing sims has its own space. If I'm not mistaken, there was an employee that resembles a bouncer in a club - that checks who comes in and out of the dark room. Large tv screen, seats that move and actual size steering wheels - no helmets needed. We knew this park had been here for years and today was the first time for us to finally come inside and figure out what's happening. In my observation, the kart tracks would have been bigger and longer, music and sounds related to races would have been perfect. The sound system could have been better if I understood what the guys were announcing - the speaker was inaudible. Anyways, the staff seem to love what they are doing..very knowledgeable and helpful.

I even brought my wife here on our first date. That magic is dead. I brought my brother here the other day to show him how wonderful it is and a single race was like $40. Are you completely out of your minds!? A race used to be $15 and THAT was steep. I bought a membership every year to keep that few bucks off. The cradle has fallen. What a shame. If you think you're gonna keep the doors open charging that much for a race, you should probably just have a pawn shop where you can rip people off without all the overhead.

One time, a friend visiting me wanted to go go-karting so I bought us tickets. It was $25/person to go around about 7 times. I was given a kart that couldn't turn right unless it super slow so I had to slow down drastically every time. I eventually got ran into which put my kart out of commission for the rest of the rounds. It was no fun at all and I should have been offered a refunded since I couldn't even do the activity I paid for properly. I've also done this selfie golf which is okay but it just wasn't for me. I could tell it wasn't well cleaned or maintained. I've tried both of the bars which had great bartenders both times. The drinks are way overpriced just as the food is as well. It's about $25 for some chicken wings which they didn't even bother to try to make look good on their menu. Your first time there, you have to spend a minimum of $20 just to get a pass and some of the popular games aren't even working properly. You can get this thing called a rainbow pass where you can play certain games unlimited for a set period of time but it limits you to only the shooting and driving games which get tiring after 15 minutes. Overall, I really wouldn't suggest people going here unless you want to take a loan out for mid-tier games and overpriced food.

Play-X-Scape was the perfect celebration location for my favorite three-year-old this year. The birthday party was a big hit with the adults and children. The ages in attendance were 10-months-old to 84-years-old. Hands down the best feature of this venue is that when you book your party you have the entire run of the place for you and your guests. This was the best! They have lockers in the lobby for everyone to remove their shoes to keep the floor clean that children may be crawling or playing on. Grip socks are required to be worn and are also available for purchase. There are various play areas and activities for the children. There is a large playscape in the center of the room complete with a slide. Play areas include a kitchen, store, diner, animal hospital, puppetry, coloring, legos, blocks, yard size connect four, climbing walls, swings and basketball hoop. Some children did not want to leave!!! Play-X-Scape also has a birthday party room for eating pizza, snacks and cupcakes. Our party was setup for 10 children. It was completely decorated with an animal theme of Young, Wild and Three as part of the booking. The pizza was provided by YaYa's Pizza next door. Ironically we had more adults than children at the party. There are four tables with chairs for adults to sit plus a bench inside of the door. I wish we had brought some games for the adults to play during the 3-hr party. This venue also has open play hours for a place to take your children to explore for $12. Different levels of party packages are also available.
