This is an absolutely fantastic place to bring your children! They have an indoor play area with slide, games, toys, everything to keep your little one's mind off the fact that they are in there for the dreaded "dental work". My daughter had two teeth pulled and a cap on one of her molars. They administered laughing gas, calmed her nerves with jokes and checked in on her regularly. I was able to sit with her and even give her a little foot massage while they worked. How FAST they were! I sincerely wish these were my providers because my child felt no needles (she was given two and SWEARS she had zero), and they were done with everything in 15 mins. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was given no communication as to what color her cap would be. It's on her first molar so when she smiles- she now looks like a pirate jack-o'-lantern with her silver fang gleaming in the sun... Either way- this will be our dentist for a long while, hopefully!! Your kiddos will appreciate you looking for a dentist that caters to children. Definitely a staple in our community for The Littles!! read more

Went here for a couple years for cleanings for my kids which were fine. They were able to treat cavities using gas and it was a good experience until we were told my oldest needed braces, and we went in for a consult. The took pictures of her teeth and said that insurance would take around a year to get approved, but we should call them back if we heard before or we could pay before and hope for the best. They also quoted an amount that I thought was very high for phase one of braces. We never heard back from them but decided to get a second opinion on the braces. The second place agreed she needed braces but quotes a much lower price, said insurance would only take a short while to approve and we were able to get her in braces that day. We went back for a cleaning for her a few months later...they asked us why she had braces as she didn't need them yet?? so strange since they were the ones that told us she needed braces to begin with. At that same appointment they told us our younger daughter needed a crown and multiple cavities filled. We again went for a second opinion and low and behold no crown needed. All trust lost at this point, and we will not be back. read more

If you want a dentist who will disregard your child's pain entirely and then blame your child for feeling that pain, this is the right dentist for you. If you want a dentist that doesn't use their power and authority as an adult to Lord over helpless children, perhaps another dentist is the right choice. They put a topical numbing on and only a couple seconds later was jabbing the needle deep into her gums as she screamed in pain. Anyone who has been to a dentist knows there's a much longer delay between these two. I mentioned this and he assured me this was normal (it's not normal). He waited only five minutes before drilling as she screamed in pain. Even if 5 minutes is a textbook accurate answer, everyone and especially a dentist knows each patient reacts differently and may need more time or more numbing agent. But they were running 30 minutes behind and didn't seem to care. Any adult that disregards a child's intense pain so they can get home on time is a massive red flag. Her first tooth she screamed in pain the entire time. By the second tooth the numbing agent had begun to work and even though the second cavity was much deeper she didn't have any pain. Clear sign he didn't wait long enough for her and didn't take her pain into consideration with his decisions. The treatment was over and he left the room but she complained the crown didn't fit. He came back and appeared annoyed by thar. So, When her tooth didn't fit and was too big, he asked her to bite harder. She did. The dentist wasn't satisfied and so he yanked her head back and was pushing with a lot of strength, a full grown man on a 7 year old girl and she SCREAMED so loud in pain screaming and screaming as he kept yanking on her tooth and head. I've never heard a blood curdling scream before but now I have. I'm a combat veteran and have seen a lot of stuff in my life and I was truly unnerved by this. Truly beyond unnerved. I finally stepped in and told him to stop. I said that's enough we are going home. The treatment was done anyhow he was just trying to push it harder into place to fit better. This shouldn't have been an issue. But for him, it was. I asked him to give us a moment in the room to get her ready and leave as she was screaming"it hurts!!. He, in a clearly narcissistic condescending tone got angry at me and said how dare I disrespect him and HE was staying in the room and WE needed to leave now! What a childish reaction, as he has other patients to attend to and chose to sulk in the room. He stood in the doorway physically imposing on us he angrily told us to leave again, which were trying to do but he was blocking our way. I asked him to move. He didn't move and I physically couldn't get by without bumping him and demanded again we leave. I asked again for him to move, again, which he finally did as he went on a tirade about my daughter. Finally we managed to leave as he continues in the hallway with his insults. This is exactly how I'd describe a butcher who doesn't care about a child pain and disregards then entirely. I don't believe he even deserves a license. We may file a complaint but I will wait until I see how they respond to this. This isnt our first visit to a dentist with this daughter and we have other children who've had cavities. We know the drill. DO NOT GO! Find another dentist. I should add that we went to this same dentist for the same daughter several weeks prior for a different cavity. They allowed a longer period for the topical numbing agent. He also wait fifteen minutes before drilling as she wasn't numb enough to start before then. She didn't scream in pain the first time at all. Today he was 30 minutes late starting and was backed up and it was near the end of the day around 3pm. He may have been tired or overworked? I don't know. Clearly he was rushing to get on time and disregarded his screaming patients crying in pain. But the second experience was clearly incorrect as evidenced by the first experience. This dentist should be fired from this location..if he's a part owner he should lose his practice. read more

Seems as if this office was double and triple booked. My son was taken over 30 minutes past his scheduled appointment time and only after I reminded staff we were still waiting. Others also waiting way past their scheduled times and being told they were short staffed. However, once in the back it did not appear that way. The wait was a nuisance - but I can deal with that. At my teenage son's previous cleaning he had zero cavities and told he had really good oral hygiene. This time I'm handed a paper to take to the front. Once up front I'm told I need to schedule an appointment for my son to have 2 cavities filled along with a $$ quote for a good amount. I told them I wasn't comfortable scheduling the appointment without speaking with the dentist as he didn't speak with me after examining my son or show Me any evidence of cavities. I was told they'd get someone to speak with me about it and they sent out the hygienist who just said schedule the appointment. Very unprofessional for the dentist not to speak with the parent about such things. He examined my son in front of me and said absolutely nothing to me. Time to find a new dentist for both of my children as well as a second opinion. read more

Brought our kids here a few times, was satisfied initially. Our last visit for cleaning and exams, the new dentist advised a $3000 treatment plan for my 5 year old daughter who had no history of decay or pain (6 months ago). This included at least 3 pupal therapy procedures (root canal on baby teeth) to be followed by crowns; in addition to multiple other fillings. I was shocked, but also knew we needed a second opinion, which confirmed that almost all of the treatments she "required" were not necessary. I will say she does need 3 (small) fillings, but we most certainly will never return to this office for treatment. Pardon my French, but what a shit show Orthodontics is. My daughter got her braces put on, we were there an hour longer than we should have been because the tech broke the same bracket twice trying to put them on and the orthodontist broke the same bracket a third time. Within 12 hours of being home, my daughter woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me for a FOURTH time this bracket broke. I had her go back to sleep and told her I'd call first thing. The next morning I called to make an appointment for the bracket to be replaced, I was notified that there was no availability and she would have to be seen at her next appointment, which was 2 months out. I notified them that the wire that went through the broken bracket is scratching up my daughters gums. They told me I could come in and cut the wire, but that we still had to wait for repair. While I was there I advocated for my daughter explaining that this is an anchor bracket, a vital bracket and the work could be prolonged if they cannot repair this in a timely fashion. She said she agreed but they can only get an orthodontist here on Tuesdays and I believe it is not even every Tuesday. Fast forward to this morning, almost two months since her last appointment- she has now broken more brackets on the same side and has had wire exposed for almost two weeks. I attempted to see if I could just have them release us so we could go to another orthodontist, they did not hesistate to start the paperwork, which made me think. Why would they be so accomodating? As I called around I quickly learned that other orthodontists don't like to take transfers with our insurance, despite taking our insurance regularly. This now forces me to stay at a location that is not set up to take care of my daughter, nevermind the rest of its patients. I will say that the orthodontic supervisor is a sweet, understanding girl who was extremely empathetic and offered her assistance despite my frustration. She is stuck between a rock and a hard place in her position and I feel for her. The owner of this company is aware of these issues and keeps passing off excuses to the employees which have to then give those same bogus excuses to their patients parents. Shame on the owner for failing their staff and their patients! My suggestion to all is: if you are a current patient here, seek another orthodontist before moving forward with your child's braces. I sure as hell wish I did. read more

Unfortunately every time we go there it's a minimum 30 minute wait however on 2 out of the last 5 appointments it's been an hour. We were scheduled to have a spacer fixed (for the 3rd time no less) which I was told is a quick in and out but they took all the cleaning patients first. That was my last time bringing my kids. Switching dentists. The doctors and assistants are all nice it's too bad guess it's just an organizational issue. read more

This place is great! We have been coming for a year and it is always a good experience. The place is always spotless and there is so much for children to do. As you enter, they have a small reading nook/play area and on the opposite wall are TV's with video games. Down the hallway, there is a movie room and then you get to the big play area. By the time the child has taken off their shoes to play, you are called in as there is hardly ever a wait. Once inside, each chair has an individual TV playing Disney movies. The dental assistants are all very sweet and friendly. Dr Nidhi is very kind, patient and professional. At the end of the visit the children not only get their goody bag but also, free tokens for the claw machine. Every child is a "winner". This facility and the employees make something that can be dreadful, into a pleasant and fun experience. We love it! read more

Was told our daughter had 1 cavity at her checkup/x-ray appointment, "likely just surface". I scheduled an appointment to fill it for today and the dentist decided on his own to also drill the one next to it. They never informed me of a 2nd cavity let alone obtain my consent to drill or fill it. They also never asked for or received consent to put some kind of sealant on all of her other molars but went ahead and did that too. They HAD mentioned this sealant treatment during our cleaning visit but I never said I wanted it or authorized it. After we left the room today, I asked to speak with the dentist because I saw him using 2 bands on her teeth and figured out that he must have done 2 fillings. When I asked why he filled a second tooth he immediately became belligerent. He wouldn't let me ask questions or speak. My husband tried and he acted the same towards him. He claimed he did tell me about 2 cavities and that he is "legally obligated to fill all cavities". After about 10 min of trying to speak and showing him the photo I took of the single cavity he showed us on her x-ray he lost it and told his staff not to charge us and that we were not welcome back. I told him we obviously would never return to him regardless and asked him to please stop as this was obviously not a productive conversation. I asked him to please walk away and let me check out. He stayed there and continued to be belligerent, yelling that its in the charting and I can ask anyone and they will agree with him about the 2nd cavity on the other tooth. Finally, another customer advised him from the other side at check in, that her children did not need to be witnessing all of this. (She was there for unauthorized charges to her HSA card and was having a fight of her own so to speak. Thank you for trying to help us make him stop, kind stranger!) I have filed a BBB complaint and am reporting him to the American Dental Association. He should not be allowed to practice if he is going to perform things on children without even telling the parents let alone getting permission!! Also, I find it very interesting that had I not taken the photo of her x-ray... they give you zero paperwork. They never asked permission for a single treatment. Today's appointment was scheduled by me to fill ONE cavity. There was no verbal consent actually given to them other than scheduling the appointment. There was no request for verbal consent for treatment of any kind when there today and nothing written either. Stay FAR away from this place. I'm having the work evaluated by my dentist Wednesday. Fingers crossed that the fillings are at least properly completed. **I wish I had seen what employees had to say on Indeed reviews before letting them near my daughter with a drill. :-( read more

I don't normally write reviews because everyone's experience is different but I had to share my experience with this wonderful place. The environment is welcoming and has a play room, movie room with bean bags, and a wall with a PS4 and XBOX for the kids. We were seen fast, the questions asked in the new patient paperwork was very inquisitive and asked how to best handle my child. Also asked about any special accommodations needed for my kid. When it came time to take the XRaYs my kid had an issue and they were able to adjust and help no problem. The care was very thorough and informative. The staff was friendly and approachable. I just want to say thank you to the staff! You're doing and amazing job and I will be back for my daughters first visit soon! read more

Our experience with this orthodontist office has been very frustrating. Service was good but the practice was sold and now it is unprofessional. Our appointments are always canceled by them. I called Kids Zone Dental because my daughter broke a tooth at sleep away camp about 20 mins away from their office. Kids Zone fit her into their schedule immediately and rectified the issue. The dentist (Dr Niti) and hygienist (chris) did everything they could to make sure my daughter was comfortable. I was so appreciative that they squeezed her in. I wish we had a Kidd Zone Dental where I live. The atmosphere is also very kid friendly so the kids can watch tv while the dentist is working on them. Definitely recommend!!! My son is undergoing a braces plan at this office and it seems to be issue after issue. Today, we came to the office to have a bracket put back on which should have been done at last week's emergency appointment and I'm once again being told they will not be doing it at this appointment either. Even though it was stated several times during the phone conversation what needed to be done. I was left sitting in the office for over an hour, phone call after phone call, while they tried to "locate" someone to take care of the issue. They then suggested I drive to another office in Peabody, an hour and a half each way, to have it done. What a waste of time!! read more

this is a terrible dentist office for anyone. they have nothing to entertain the kids when they are having serious work done to their teeth because they cant be bothered to figure out a simple router password for the internet and with that being said do you really want these people operating on your children's teeth? i know i dont thats why today was my last visit and i can only hope other parents follow suit. Their secretaries are NOT the brightest cant even schedule simple appointments or understand papers handed to them that were written by the dentist that works at the place. unfortantly, i had to give them one star just to write this review if i had my way they wouldnt get any stars. absolutely awful place. do yourself a favor and seek other venues for your sweet babies. read more

Very unprofessional...they put the plastic in my daughters mouth crooked and wouldn't even let her speak she even raised her hand. They unhooked everything and said they will not help her. Its funny because she already went twice and had no problems getting her other 4 teeth fixed. Not to mention I saw a Dr drop a drill on the floor and still use it in another room. read more

Made the mistake of using this business for orthodontics. Wait times to be seen are incredibly long however I could handle that IF they kept their appointments. We are at the end stage of braces and every appointment has been cancelled by KIDZONE due to "lack of Orthodontist on staff". I have been told a New Doctor has joined the practice only to be cancelled yet again for lack of orthodontist. It seems like the staff simply doesn't care about the patients. The office itself looks dirty and dingy and it is visible where kids games were removed from walls. At least have pride in your space and clean or repaint! Covid protocols are one thing but the lack of cleanliness, non-caring attitude of staff, and uninviting manner have me looking elsewhere for care. Amazingly when I spoke about my concerns to the Doctor who was on at our last visit she shrugged her shoulders and said it was her last day. Stay away from this business: Not kid friendly, not professional, simply do not care! read more

Not only was the dental work high quality but I was also very impressed with their ability to calm my daughter and talk her through the procedures in ways a 5yr old can understand while providing distractions and rewards to help get her through.
