It's been 5 years since the last time I came but always remembered their excellent work. Took a while to make an appt since they are always booked. The front desk staffs are very helpful and easy to communicate with by text or email. On the day of the appt, I met with the Hygienist, Karen. She was as nice as can be, so patient as she explained to me why they needed to do the xray photos. She was so careful and thorough as she told me the process. Dr Walsh came in after the photos being taken and checked my teeth and gym health. She also took her time to let me know how to care for my teeth like using the right floss and threader for my retainer parts of my teeth, water pik etc. They are both great at listening and giving suggestions. I was supposed to come back for cleaning in Dec but they were able to send me a couple of earlier dates so I can come in earlier. I came in yesterday for my regular cleaning and met with Robin, she is the hygienist for my cleaning. It was the best cleaning experience EVEr!!! She is very experienced and caring! The whole process took about 40 mins or so I think, never once felt pain and it was done with so much care! I had been having allergies so I told her I would be coughing every now and then. She would pause every time and ask me to swallow and have some water during the process. My stains on my teeth were gone and they looked so polished! Thank you so much for taking your time and being patient with me. I cannot wait for my 6 months cleaning again. Thank you Robin, Dr Walsh, Karen and The team!!!

But after the extraction, then never prescribed antibiotics. A week later, the socket got infected. I called the answering service Saturday oon. They said they'd call me right back. By Monday they hadn't called. So I went to the ER. They sent me, by ambulance, to Tufts Boston. At noon Monday, Ass-tetic called back. I was in Tufts 4 days getting antibiotics.

That is why I switched, With this dental office, I was clear that my insurance was to be used and they are an in network dentist. They affirmed this. However, they set me up with a dentist that is not in network and waiting for certification. Thus, my claim was denied.They set me up with a Dr. that wasn't certified by Dominion. I had no idea until I got the denial in the mail. This will hopefully be reversed, but in the meantime they have been no help nor do they care. Most importantly is that I was there because they told me they took my insurance. The office said the Dr. was certified and the insurance company told me she was not. I do not recommend this office. They were not helpful in all this. Opposite. Their office evidently doesn't know who is certified and who isn't. This is an 'in network' office. They hung up on me when I repeatedly asked to talk to the manager. That's all I wanted. They would not do it. This office led me astray. One of the worst medical experience of my 75 years. Dentist was great but the organization leaves a lot to be desired. Evidently this dentist was also waiting for certification from Dominion Insurance. I feel I was taken advantage of. I'm 75 and disabled. This should not happen to anyone.

Puts you at easy right away. Next, staff is wonderful! Office manager Jason is warm, caring, knows his craft and keeps the office running like clock work! Hygienist Dina balances her sweet disposition with the most gentle touch. Dr. Bankhead is the best dentist I've ever had. He is a pleasure to see. I require frequent visits and actually look forward to going as I always feel better afterwards. I've never experienced any pain...almost fell asleep a few times on the chair. The service is obviously paramount for this office as is their I.T. relativity. Everything is automated and current. I get automated and personal reminders making it easy to remember appts. And their medical equipment is top notch and rivals any large company. I've been a customer for about 5 years and can only say great things about this business. Jason, who runs the office, is the most efficient and thorough office manager I've met at any business. He always makes sure I know everything I need to (even tracking down info I might need to know from my insurance) before we have any procedure. He never lets me miss my appointments (and I am a notorious flake when it comes to that). We've been bringing our son since he was old enough to need cleanings, too.
