After attempting to find a dentist that could help, I went into Michael Sakuda's office, and he took me in without hesitation. Both he and his staff were commendable. I decided then that when my regular dentist retires (which turns out at the end of this year (2023)), I will transfer my care to Dr. Sakuda. I chose braces for my treatment, and they explained that it would take some time to adjust in the beginning. During my first month, I called once or twice because I was getting cold sores. Even though it wasn't an emergency and was just my mouth adjusting to the wires, they still made time to fit me into their busy schedule and reassured me everything was fine. That extra care really stood out to me. They didn't have to bring me in, but since day one they've gone above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. I am so glad to have found Dr. Masaki, after spending six months looking for a dental team to help save my teeth. After battling cancer and receiving both chemotherapy and radiation, my teeth badly suffered from all the treatments.
