We decided to get a few consultations from different orthodontist to see if he was ready for phase one braces, his teeth were overly crowded and we wanted to avoid extractions. Our son did not feel comfortable at any of these orthodontist consults. He was scared. I decided to look up Dr. Kevin Kieu but found out he retired, but his son Dr. Calvin Kieu has took over his practice. Dr. Calvin agreed it was a good idea to start our son off when phase one braces. He is so patient, kind, and talked about his favorite sport baseball. We let our son choose who he wanted to be his ortho and he said Dr. Calvin! My kid has his braces done here and it has been just over a year so far and still have a year to go. Great & very friendly plus accommodating service from the reception staff. Great care and great quality from the DDS. So far my kid has no problem and liking the place. It was recommended by my cousin whom had his braces done here too. Easy parking and plenty of shops (pizza is right next door, donut shop is 4-5 doors down and liquor/snack place is steps away). Nice, clean and very organized inside. i visited dr calvin in august with concerns about tmj jaw pain and an underbite i had developed after getting braces off years ago. i was worried about having to wear braces again, luckily he was able to create a treatment plan using aligners. best part was how strategic he was in placing the glue brackets (which are required to keep the aligners in place), so it wasn't obvious i even had aligners. six months later, my jaw pain is gone, and my teeth look so much better! highly recommend you go to him for treatment! read more
