    Sushi Roll
    Erin P.

Awesome hole in the wall spot in a shopping center. Doesn't look like much inside or out (definitely more of a carry out) but the staff is friendly and the food is solid. As a vegetarian, it can be a challenge to get good food while out on the road. Their vegetable curry (a yellow, more Japanese style curry) is full of fresh zucchini, broccoli, and carrots. It is served in a generous portion over rice. It was served hot and fresh. I easily stretched it to lunch and dinner! They offer numerous tofu options, as well. My colleagues got the chicken curry and Cajun chicken, which they raved about. They also ordered a sushi roll with crab and said it was great (it was HUGE!). The menu offered whole fish, shrimp, and many other options. Certainly something for everyone. Will definitely be back for the veggie curry next time I'm in Franklin for work. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty, fresh, and affordable lunch or dinner on the go.

I moved to the area a couple of years ago and didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hibachi was soooo good. I haven't had any sushi yet, but I plan to try asap.

Not good curry, rice is way overcooked and things floating in the curry were unappetizing. Sad, lady sad their curry was great.. not so.

Based on the good reviews, this place seemed like a must try for lunch! Wow we were wrong. Lady recommended $20 hibachi... for lunch? I dont think so. She said the curry chicken lunch was great, at $10 it was still steep but I love some curry. I think this is the first time I was totally turned off by the smell and taste of a curry. The objects floating in the curry were just as bad I attempted to remove them from the sludge. Then went for a bit of rice and it assumed the shape of the styrofoam, way overcooked. The steak cheeze egg roll was my savior, took a bite to find a better flavor, but steak chunks that were almost impossible to chew. I can't recommend this place.

This was only half of my lunch! It was the best food I've had in a long time. We will definitely be back. Clean restaurant and friendly staff

Long slender setup...use to be a sub shop I believe

I have never had a bad meal here and they have excellent sushi and hibachi. My go to spot for chicken fried rice with yum yum sauce.

If food is not to a customers liking we should have the choice to get something else or even a refund, not professional at all.

I come home to find two hairs in the sushi, and the edamame was cold (may or may not be their thing). Immediately went back to show Sherry these pictures and she didn't really argue. I told her all of this was already thrown out. she turned to her higher up(a man seemingly to be the manager), spoke in a different language then turned back to me accepting to remake the entire order. I got my order back and the boss man was asked if he had anything to say and I watch him shake his head, arms crossed seemingly displeased with either his shop or with me coming back in, I couldn't tell you which it was. two stars because they complied with a remake... but I don't want to come back ever after this initial experience with losing my appetite and feeling unwelcomed trying to hold the restaurant accountable for a sanitary issue...

I had the Ebi (shrimp) curry ramen. The curry was very flavorful but different than both Jamaican and Indian curries. I don't like that they keep the tails on the shrimp even though it's in the ramen. I also had salmon rice balls as well as Shumai. The shumai was good and so were the rice balls, but never having had rice balls, they weren't what I was expecting. I expected them to have meat in them but it was just rice with salmon flavored powder. We also added hot green tea to our meal. While not anything special, I do like to end my meal this way. The service was pretty good but we didn't like that our waitress stood next to our table from the moment we sat down. We felt pressured to hurry up and order, and it just made things awkward. She was very attentive though. This restaurant is your typical local Japanese style restaurant. Very authentic in its feel and decor - nothing fancy, basic service. But if you like more authentic type dishes vs chain restaurants, I think this is a place to try! Oh, I will also add this place was alot less expensive than places like Domoishi! I give it a 3 star because I feel neutral about it - not because anything was super wrong about it!

That small gesture made us feel really welcomed! I didn't try the sushi this time, but I ordered the ramen and takoyaki. The takoyaki was unfortunately a little cold, but it was still tasty. The ramen came in a generous portion and was really satisfying! This was completely my own money, and I always like sharing my honest experience. I ordered the spicy umami miso ramen with tofu, karaage, and a soft-boiled egg, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I'll admit I went a little overboard with the add-ons, but I was just too excited and couldn't resist. It's a hidden gem tucked into a shopping center and easy to miss from the main road, but there's plenty of parking and once you're inside it's much more spacious than it looks. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and everything came out fresh. Prices were very reasonable too, especially for the portion sizes and quality. There's also a wide menu beyond ramen, so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more. Before leaving, I grabbed a brown sugar boba milk tea too. I was already full, so I saved it for later--but even then, it was still really good. Overall, a great first experience--I'll definitely be returning!
