Wonderful! First time at Kiki's last week. Enjoyed the Sambuca Prawns, Spanakopita appetizer and the Caramel Crème for desert. Amazing flavours. Beautifully prepared. The Sambuca Prawns were large, succulent and plentiful. The sauce is fantastic. Lovely Spanakopita with scrumptious house tzatziki. And the desert - beautiful. The best. If you are a fan of flan, you will love this dessert. Back again this week for the roast lamb - which is usually not a favourite - but Kiki's slow roasted lamb was absolutely the BEST! So tender and delicious, not at all gamey. I LOVED it! Served with a nice Greek salad, yummy house tzatziki and pita, rice and greek potatoes. Had to have the Spanakopita appetizer again - that good! And definitely the silky, delectable Caramel Crème. YUMMM! What a great place. Like coming home. So welcoming. Incredible, warm, friendly staff. Highly recommend this authentic Greek restaurant. I have three requirements to evaluate the quality of a Greek restaurant. I'll explain: 1) fork test: can you eat the full roast lamb without a knife. (Answer: yes, this was the most tender lamb) 2) taste test: what does it taste like? Sometimes lamb can have a strong flavour. This was prepared properly and seasoned exactly as it should be. Yummy 3) happy test: it doesn't matter how tender or tasty if the experience at the restaurant sucks. So, the staff are amazing. So friendly. Great sense of humour. The owner came to talk with us also, which is very rare nowadays. I'm going to say that this place is fabulous. Worth the visit. read more

Last time I was here, I ordered a most unfortunate gyro (tasteless and tough, with the texture of boiled! meat). So I was tentative when I found myself at Kiki's again. I was accompanying my Dad to an appointment in the building and we were running late so this was the closest to a lunch place nearby. I decided to order coffee and kalamari appy for lunch. Our food came out right away but I was disappointed in how greasy my plate of kalamari. They could've at least drained the cooked kalamari prior to plating. The coating kept on coming off the squid so I had to scoop it out while trying to avoid the pools of grease on the plate to taste the coating. It was light but lacked seasoning. The squid, on the other hand, was cooked properly: it wasn't rubbery and quite fresh. The tsatsiki was very boring; not enough garlic and lemon and, it had a grainy texture to it. Normally I order extra tsatsiki but this time I had quite a bit left. Another major disappointment was we were never offered a coffee refill and our waitress was MIA after delivering our food. By the time we saw her again, we had to leave and only had time to pay. I'm going to have to get to White Rock earlier and find a better restaurant next time my Dad has an appointment here. read more

Appeared to be nice quaint restaurant, upon entering noticed it was not busy. However...after being seated waited close to 12mins before we were even acknowledged or brought out water. After the meals arrived, the server did not once come back to ask if everything was okay, not even for a refill on our water! The chicken in the souvlaki dish was not cooked and pink inside, once we did get the attention of the server all she could say was okay ill show it to the cook, no apology, nothing! At no point did anyone apologize or offer a solution to the horrible meal. Would not go back, horrible service,food was undercooked, the ONLY good thing is that they had great tzataki,but not worth going back too. read more

My friend doesn't make a lot of money but wanted to host a special dinner with her small savings to thank some friends. She chose Kiki's because being Greek, she knows Greek food, and because reviews of this restaurant were 4 star. Dishes at the restaurant were around $18 to $24, which was a lot for her but this was an occasion. When we got the food, the portion sizes of two of the five meals ordered were appetizer size. The Keftedes meal at $18 had a total of 5 small dry overcooked meatballs and was missing the rice. The Corinthian Dinner of prawns in tomato sauce at $18.95 looked like maybe 1/2 cup of food in total. It seemed to have been microwaved or overdone in the oven as it was shrunken back into its small aluminum dish and filled barely half of it. Each side serving of their Greek potatoes contained precisely two wedges. They had purposely chosen hard underripe tomatoes for their Greek salads - having previously worked in an establishment that also did this I know it is because they last longer in the fridge but the result is that there is no flavour - and this was especially unfortunate because tomatoes and to a lesser degree cucumber were the main ingredients in this salad. On each container of salad there was one small olive placed in the centre, which only emphasized that there were no other olives in the salad. One of the salads ordered was also missing and the restaurant, which is 10 minutes away by vehicle, took an hour and a half to bring the missing items. My friend was embarrassed and disappointed at what had advertised itself on its website as being "family recipes that come straight from the Greek islands". Perhaps Kiki's started out with this in mind but the overwhelming impression we got is of a restaurant on what admittedly must be an expensive strip, where the main goal is to save money by overcharging for cheap subpar food. Shame on Kiki's for advertising themselves to be something they are not. read more

This is my 2nd time to this restaurant and it just keeps getting better. I had the steak and pasta with red wine and cheese cake. The food was spectacular and the portions were larger than expected. I liked the comfy booth seats, speedy and friendly service, and the quiet and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Location and consistency. These are two reasons I have been to back to Kiki's several times. Kiki's is a great go-to place for a nice dinner out. The prices are maybe a tiny bit much because of the fact you can get better by venturing outside South Surrey. However, if we're talking South Surrey then yes this is a consistent, comfortable, nicely decorated restaurant with good food and service. I usually just go with the souvlaki. Definitely not the absolute best but satisfying nonetheless. The calamari here on the other hand is very good! Kiki's is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner out. The food and service is consistent making it a fairly safe bet every time. read more

I came here recently out of town as I have some family here. They reccomended that we all go out to dinner to Kiki's. I noticed the staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean and we were served promptly. we started off with some apps, including the tzatziki with pita and calamari. Tzatiki was amazing! one of the best I've ever had. One thing I look for in a good restaurant is that everything has a home made taste, so I was suprised that what I ordered did not tast like it came pre packaged and frozen like a lot of chain restartants. I ordered the lasagna and I loved the fact that it tasted like mom's home cooking. Some other dishes my family ordered were the roast lamb and chicken parmesan. Both very tasty! Next time I am in town I will definitely be back! read more

Decided to take the Sheila out for Friday prime rib night. We arrived around 7:20 pm and there was quite a buzz. We were seated by a local real estate agent and booster of the Andy Dalton fan club. Man what a prime rib experience. Everything was delicately done and the service was terrific! As I looked over at the Dalton fan club president, it appeared as if he was performing surgery on his prime rib. He told me he hated fat and gristle like the mad man he appeared to be. He keep muttering under his breath that the Bengals will win a Super Bowl in the next 3 years and that Mixon will only miss one week cause of some special Dr. Thank god me and Sheila were distracted by the waitress bringing out a phenomenal desert. read more

Decided to give this place a shot instead of the usual Greek places I go to (Greek Islands and New York New York) but I wasn't too impressed with their food. Also, the waitress didn't seem too keen to be taking care of us, she was very blunt and unhelpful. Didn't try to engage in conversation, checked up on us only once, and took FOREVER to bring whatever we asked her to bring. (There were only 2 other tables occupied when we went and she wasn't even taking care of them; there was another waitress doing that.) We had the full size of the Spanakopita, and The Greek pizza. Usually it's standard for Greek places to provide free bread with Tzatziki sauce however I did not see this here. Not sure if our waitress just didn't bring us any or if that's how it works here. Anyways, the food was very mediocre. I'll probably stick to my regular Greek restaurants. read more

With parking in the back and access door also in the rear it was easy to access this busy spot in White Rock. Staff were all very friendly, and atmosphere was casual and comfortable. We visited Tuesday at noon. Great food and service. Food was delicious and served HOT. Our party enjoyed the fettuccine alfredo, chicken stir fry and the Greek pizza. We ordered food for five people, for a special dinner and special occasion. The kefthedes meatballs were tiny and bland, lacking in mint, dry and small, and served with regular, seemingly store-bought gravy. The Corinthian prawn dinner had exactly five shrimp, not prawns, in it. At $4 a prawn one might expect a slightly higher quality, if not a higher number. The Greek salads had underripe tomatoes and soft, mushy cucumbers, with one olive apiece in the centre of the styrofoam bowl. The moussaka was tiny, child-sized, or Happy Meal-sized and merely adequate. We were missing a salad and when we complained the server on the other end of the line was completely unapologetic, and nearly unwilling to make it right. One hour later and we are still waiting for the rest of our order to turn up. This was an unfortunate introduction to Kiki's and we won't order from them again. read more

Great value! Clean, comfortable ambiance. Greek food menu selection and although not extensive, I was surprised Kiki's didn't offer avgolemono soup, the food is well prepared that, on balance, will not exceed, nor disappoint expectations. If I had to find criticism the lack-lustre Greek salad, and too creamy hummus texture are all that I found. Those very subjective minor complaints were easily balanced with delicious lentil soup, and perfectly cooked lamb souvlaki. Great prices, if it was an option I would have give it a $.5, and not a $$, having just been to another well known Greek restaurant in Vancouver two days earlier it was easy to compare - Kiki's prices were considerably lower for similar dishes making them an incredible value! read more

Been here a few times and generally enjoyed it. Little pricey for what you get, as the food quality is not too much better than a franchise place. Nice atmosphere, though it is getting a little run down. The staff has generally been pretty decent. Seems more busy for lunch than dinner. Try the calamari. read more

We have been coming to Kiki's restaurant for 10 years and usually really enjoy our experience. However, we have noticed the last few visits, that not only has the price been climbing, but the portions have been getting smaller. Today for lunch we ordered chicken souvlaki, and were very disappointed by the small skewer of chicken, the sparse amount of potatoes, and half of the tzatziki we used to be served. I was embarrassed to take friends there, after we had praised your restaurant to them. We don't mind paying the price for good value, but definitely didn't feel we got that today! read more

Bare bones experience for Greek food. Very over priced for what you get at this restaurant. A typical Greek restaurant will serve 2-3 souvlaki skewers with their meals. This place? 1 skewer. 1 Beef skewer entree for $16. Beef was over cooked and dry, same as the chicken. Appetizer platter was nothing special. Soggy Calamari served on the platter. went there for my birthday recently. I've been there once before and enjoyed it. I had a pizza (its was a craving) and it was really exxxxxcellent. will go again. Our server was a bit slow, and if we'd been in a hurry it would have been a problem, but as it was, we just kind of went with the slow motion and enjoyed our evening. The thing that kind of put a damper on the night was some idiot talking to people at another table about how great Trump is... The food wasn't bad at all but by no means was it interesting or warranting the price. The calamari appetizer was $11 and I'm pretty sure they were pre-packaged. The rice, potatoes and Greek salad that same with diner were are pretty normal but the chicken was nice and well cooked. Kiki's is a great family run Greek cuisine gem in the south surrey area. The spanakopita is hand made and wonderful, as well as is their pita bread hummus and tzatziki. The prime rib is wonderful and recently I tried the pasta primavera and that had a great aroma and presentation. Portions are a good size and the staff is friendly and helpful. A definite try for anyone wanting to try a a great restaurant with a nice atmosphere. read more

It was ok but I have had much better. There were only two skinny little potato wedges on the plate. With potatoes being cheap they could have added a couple more. There was a strange spice in the spanikopita that didn't seem to fit. Staff was nice enough and the atmosphere was good. read more
