It's our new Greek take out food restaurant. Chicken slouvaki was decent size and tasty. Greek salad fresh and delivery was prompt. I have had the lamb dinner before and it was tender and cooked just right. I will have to come dine in and check out the location on day but for now it's a great take out staple. read more

The boys and I came here with my brother's family and were promptly seated at a corner table. Our server Danielle was very friendly, efficient and helpful. We ordered some calamari and spanakopita appetizers to start along with the Zythos and Mediterranean platters (meant to serve two people but can comfortably feed three) and chicken souvlaki (with fries) for the kids. Our calamari was deliciously crispy and meltingly tender (the tzatziki is beautifully thick and creamy) and the spanakopita was nicely done(the feta cheese was not too salty). From the Zythos platter, the lamb chops were succulent and flavourful. The beef and chicken souvlaki were perfectly seasoned (although we would have liked the beef done medium; the chicken was on the verge of being overcooked but fortunately was not too dry). The keftethedes and moussaka were wonderful. We also sampled the roasted lamb and dolmathes from my brother's Mediterranean platter -- the dolmathes were lemony and herby and the lamb was falling off the bone tender. We were too full to have any dessert. We will definitely be back! read more

Random Greek restaurant in the industrial area of Port Kells. Lots of space and they have a private party room. The Greek salad came in a separate bowl which I prefer - lots of feta cheese and flavour. Also, not drenched in oil. The tzatziki was one of the best I've ever had, was not bland whatsoever. Flavourful! I think that's what made the calamari tasty, anything dipped in a good sauce makes everything delicious. The rice however was bland. I didn't mind the roasted potato. Service was attentive. I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars if I could. read more

We came here today for our early dinner after my appointment. What a awesome finding for this great little restaurant. It's our first time visiting and I am already thinking of coming back! 5 stars for the customer service as our server was so friendly and warm. Restaurant is not new but is clean. They do sanitize the tables well. We have decided to order a platter to share since it included everything we like: * Mediterranean Platter $52: this platter already includes with 2 bowls of Greek salad, rice, roast potatoes and pita bread. Our sever is so kind and let us change 1 bowl to Caesar salad to try. Salad and pita bread will be brought over after you ordered. Fresh vegetables and pita bread that just wonderful became our appetizers while waiting our main platter to come. I like they served the bread warm and also brush with the butter.(? If I am not wrong, because that what I smelled) the pita bread was just so fluffy and soft. The Mediterranean platter came with roast lamb, kalamari, spanakopita, dolmades and chicken skewer. The calamari was fried so crispy and so as the roast lamb. The outside was crispy but the inside meat still very tender. We've tried Zythos for dine in and takeout and after having both we can confirm that this is very average Greek food, actually a bit of a let down. Standard fare, nothing to note as exceptional, and a few meh moments. We tried the calamari - one of our true tests of quality. Zythos serves thick slices of squid that are very lightly breaded. I wouldn't be surprised if it was previously frozen pre-prepared like this. Plus, they are quite chewy. - overcooked I guess. We didn't finish it and we usually polish off a good plateof calamari. Then came the Greek salad. Each portion was in a massive bowl, and consisted of mostly very large chunks of beefsteak tomato and cucumber. The rest of the veg were small dices/slices of onion and pepper. There was one token olive on top of each bowl. The size discrepancies between the massive tomato/cuke and the miniscule onion/pepper was a little strange. The amount of dressing and cheese was nice though. When the mains came, I was a little disappointed. The potato portion was very small, and it didn't have very much flavour. My roast lamb was OK for the most part, typically tender and tasty, but it was dry and tough on the outside almost like a lamb jerky. The portions of this and the souvlaki were not very big either. We had high hopes for this location but I think we'll continue our hunt for the best Greek in the area. read more

WOW the reviews of this place held up to the reputation! The only thing is when we walked in, had to wait a couple minutes to be acknowledged though it wasn't busy and had enough staff. The owners children were the greeters and seaters so they could use a bit more prompting of how customer service should be. We ordered keftedes meatballs, chicken and lamb souvlaki along with the usual sides of tzaziki, pita, rice, potato and veg. Service was excellent and food came out quickly. We devoured as much as we could and took leftovers home as it's very filling. The ambiance was lively and its a nice restaurant but strangely located in an industrial area. The food here is fresh, delicious and well portioned. The Greek salad is fabulous. Not too much dressing and the shaved feta cheese is a great topping. The calamari dinner was great, it was soft and perfectly cooked. The roast lamb is well roasted and the chicken breast is perfectly cooked. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. A lovely Mediterranean haven in the drudgery of Langley. The food is fast and fresh. The servers are downright cheerful. I recommend the beef souvlaki. A tender skewer of well seasoned beef with rice, salad, lemon potatoes with pita and tzatziki on the side. A huge portion for under 10bucks. The chicken souvlaki is also quite nice as is the lamb and calamari. The lunch portion of calamari is fair sized and - oh wait, my coworker just told me the calamari is good, but not the best he's ever had. The moussaka is, apparently, nothing to write home about but the spanakopita is spinach-y and cheesy and delicious. We've often gone there for work gatherings. We always pre-order and are generally in and out in under an hour. For larger parties of 14 or more, this is a definite bonus. read more

Staff was friendly, but the restaurant was very noisy. Food tastes good, but they overcooked our meat. We asked for medium rare and the beef tenderloin souvlaki was well done and the rack of lamb was well done to medium well. Brought it to the attention of staff and they offered to prepare a new meal but we were hungry and were willing to eat what they had served so we received 1 free dessert. Thumb their noses at COVID mandates with a full order of Rudeness! Worst experience ever in a restaurant! We arrived for our Valentine's dinner reservation and were greeted by a woman wearing a diaper mask (covering her mouth and chin). We were seated and the woman ran off. When I saw her again, I asked when will they check our vaccination ID? She proceeded to make excuses that they must have forgotten, they are busy and then I told her that it was herself that seated us. She started getting huffy and rude saying they wear masks then included that she wasn't vaccinated. We were told if we were not comfortable, we could leave. As I am discussing it with my husband, a server comes by with a diaper mask on to see if we want drinks. We said we are most likely leaving as they are not checking vaccine ids and that employees are not wearing their masks properly. She proceeded to tell me that the woman who sat me was the owner and she is vaccinated. The owner then comes back and contradicts her employee and keeps pushing us to leave if we are not comfortable. I stated we want to feel safe and we have concerns for our health. We left and she says "I hope your health is ok' in a very sarcastic tone. For a neighbourhood restaurant, there was no regard for doing the right thing within the community, morally, by law or even for good quality customer service. We will NEVER support that restaurant again even when things return to the new normal. read more

Good food, good service, I would eat at this place again. There aren't many surprises at a Greek restaurant, they all serve the same stuff - it's just a matter of who does it better. Tried the chicken parmesan to be a little bit different, and it was good. Always generous portions of rice & greek salad, that's kind of expected at a Greek place. Was pleasantly surprised that the chicken wasn't breaded in this case, and it was a good-sized piece of meat. Sauce on the chicken was nice and the cheese was melted & broiled, I like that some time & attention were put into this. It's funny, I have driven this place so many times and not gone in. Well the jokes on me. I've missed out. 1st time here. Non franchise, family run restaurants are so personable. People aren't pushing around, staff smiling when you come in. Greeted with smiles and seated within 15 minutes. Greek food. All homemade. Platter we ordered meant for two can feed 4. Fast to the table, hot and delicious. It's the kind of place where the owner dropped by to say hello and makes sure we're happy. He even sent over a share desert 'homemade' that was soooo good. When he brought home the smorgasbord of food from the Family Special, he told me that our youngest (10 months old) had had his cheeks pinched by everyone on the kitchen staff and got to see the kitchen. I am no Greek food connoiseur, but from what I've had over the years, this place was the best. I had the Greek ribs and my friend had beef souvlaki, and we were both very happy. Every entree comes with salad, rice, veggies, pita, & tzatziki. Salad was fresh and the dressing was not too sour, which was great for me as I am not that fond of vinegary stuff. Beef was well-seasoned, tender, and perfectly done in medium. My ribs were done slightly crispy on the outside, which is how I like it. Very tasty and tender. Veggies are veggies, but the rice was seasoned just right, tasty, but not to overpower the main. Pita was the best ever- I think they make it fresh at the restaurant. It went very well with the tzatziki, which again, was perfect- not too salty or sour. We went for dinner, so it was about $17-$19, but their portions were HUGE!!
