Couldn't get a burger pic since it went down too easy and fast. Last onion rings- also gone now w. Yum!

Amazing burger, good drinks, cool employees and fantastic onion rings. Don't sleep on this place!

Had a lot of outside influences that drove my craving for a good burger as we traveled into Portland today, so we stopped in at Killer burger to kill that craving. Best decision to date. I ordered a pint sized Jose Mendoza meal w/ fries. Hubby ordered the classic w/ onion rings. Everything was delicious. The fries were arguably the best fries I've ever had in my life. I ordered them lightly salted & they came out with just the right amount of salt, just the right amount of crisp, & just the right amount of soft insides. The onion rings were well-battered & seasoned - not too much & not too little. Truly enjoyable. I made myself a mango lemonade iced tea with their fountain and lemonade selection & it was a great thirst quencher to take on the road. Great place - would recommend!

This place ranks up at the top for burgers. Quantity and quality were outstanding!! The place was easy to find and the place was pretty slow when we arrived around 5p. The place has counter service with a nice selection of specially named burgers and chicken sandwiches. The place was large with plenty of table space. TVs littered the place. Pepsi products were refreshing, nice to drink a MT Dew. The French fries were also excellent. They gave you a huge helping! I tried the purity burger with an extra burger. You best be hungry if you get the extra patty. I certainly didn't leave with an empty stomach. Only complaint, serve Heinz ketchup and be done with it!!

First time staying in downtown PDX. Without any ideas of what to eat or where, quick yelp search for burgers brought up Killer Burger. It's only 3 short blocks from the AC Hotel Marriott. Inside has a somewhat rock/alternative vibe to it, which is my jam. Sports on the TV so it's got something for everyone. Choose to either dine in or take out. Lots of seating inside. Staff is friendly and restaurant is well maintained. Paper towel roll and ketchup bottle on each table. Hands down, the Motley Que is my absolute favorite burger. The crispy onions, bacon bits, bbq sauce with the well cooked smash burger and toasted/grilled buns! Omg, I'm still drooling over it! And the fries. Jeez, Portland knows how to do fries. Fried and salted perfectly. Each bite of fluffy crispy spud. They have small fries or "shareable", shareable is more than enough for 2 people. Their honey mustard sauce is pretty delicious too. We tried their Peanut Butter Pickle burger and that was cool. Personally neither of us fully enjoyed the entire burger but it was interesting and glad we tried it. What was not to our liking, how thick the peanut butter sauce is at the end. I think due to the peanut butter being, peanut butter, it just moves as a clump so our first half of the burger was light tasting of the sauce. Then the last half of it was just FULL of peanut butter and hard to swallow. I'd recommend trying it and cutting it up into 4 pieces immediately to get a few bites each, especially if you're on the edge of this trendy burger. During our 3 day stay, we had to eat here twice. Last meal before heading back to Hawaii.

Husband and I were searching for smash burgers and Yelp led us here. We were surprised by the size of the burgers; for $10 each, this is definitely decent value. However the fries were a little disappointing. One serving seemed like it was already partially eaten before reaching our table. The twang seasoning was excellent though! I had the PB burger while husband had the classic. I was surprised the PB was so sweet. I can see what they're doing for, pairing sweet and briny and salty but sadly it didn't work for me. I preferred the classic instead. Would have loved to try the $2 PBR but they were sold out! Ambiance was loud. It was hard to have a casual conversation. But facilities were clean, including the bathroom which requires an entry code. I would return if we're in the area, but don't think we'll seek it out.

I went there because this place was advertised as voted for best burger for several years in a row. I am not sure if it was just this location or if I went there at a bad time, but the burger was just ok. Service was quick and fast but the food was a bit disappointing.

Did I eat Killer Burger twice on my short trip back to Portland? Yes, yes I did. Service here is friendly and willing to help you with any requests. Ordered the Bender burger, a delicious Western-Style burger with bacon, bbq sauce, crispy jalapenos, grilled onions, cheddar, and more! Definitely the type of burger that puts you in a food coma. I might have been burger'd out, but I wasn't able to finish the last bite this time. I think the quality from the other location I went to was a little better, but this location is still valid when I'm looking for something to eat downtown.

After visiting Powells Book Store, I got on the bus and attempted to go to The Heist food pods. I got lost and was not going to make it since they closed at ten and I had my heart set on a Lao and Cambodian fusion truck called Golden Triangle. Instead of getting on another bus, i took my solo self on a walking tour for my bday. I really wanted to go to Creepy's or at the very least a creepy bar, i ended up walking into an alley way full of lights that had an oyster bar and a bar called Shanghai where it was dark, red and creepy. I went downstairs and they were rocking out. I left because it was not my vibe, but saw a keep Portland weird sign. I walked a few blocks for 10 minutes, checked out the food trucks near SW & Salmon. I was not interested and continued walking until I found Killer Burger and a Killer Burger sounded good. Of course, I wanted to keep Portland weird so why wouldn't I order a Peanut Butter Bacon & Pickle Burger. Did I like it? No. It was odd. I think the mayo threw me off. I think I would have been able to eat it without the Mayo. It had a powdery after taste, but i was determined to finish it. The cashier was si sweet and let me know if I did not like it, to please let her know. Portland's hospitality is just above and beyond and I fell in love with the city and people. Fries were delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Wish I would have gotten a $2 beer from them. I would try Killer Burger again.

Solid burger joint! Burgers are so tasty, juicy and full of flavor! The burgers and fries came out quick, hot and ready! Love the punk rock indie vibe and music! The peanut butter dip and spicy G sauce hit! Everything was a solid 10/10 including their 2$ PBR.

    Eva C.

I had to try their peanut butter burger and it did not disappoint! The creamy sauce pairs surprisingly well with the juicy burger. I loved it! Service was great, and everything was super tasty. If you're looking for something unique and delicious, I highly recommend giving this place a shot!

    Lunch special for 10 bucks!

Overall a nice spot for a quick bite in downtown. Parking is a challenge just based on proximity and there is no dedicated lot. The food is definitely above average and the portions are fair for the price. The tables and floors could be kept a bit cleaner. The restrooms require a code. A pretty nice atmosphere and a good place for a casual bite.

Checked out Killer Burger and was able to try the classic burger. The burgers size was decent and buns were fresh. I went with minimal ingredients because I wanted to try the burger in its all its rawness. Upon the first bite, I already knew it was a quality burger. I was satisfied with my choice. Do check out if you're in the area.

Between the genuinely friendly hospitality and the flavor combinations, this spot hits it out of the park and is a must for sandwich lovers. Griddled Mortadella (5/5): An incredibly delicious sandwich that perfectly balances rich, salty, and savory flavors. It comes loaded with a generous portion of grilled mortadella and melted provolone cheese, perfectly moistened with a tangy mustard aioli. The fresh lettuce and bell peppers added a satisfying crunch to every bite. Chefwich - K-Town Steak Sandwich (5/5): A limited-time creation packed into a banh mi roll. It had a generous portion of perfectly tender and sweet bulgogi steak that pairs with their melted jack cheese. The gochujang mayo sauce had a subtle and sweet heat, while the fresh kimchi added crunch and slight acidity to balance the rich meat. Elote Tater Tots (5/5): Definitely a creative side dish. The tots were perfectly fried and topped elote style with cotija cheese, pairing well with the smoky chipotle mayo on the side. Logistics Tip: Street parking is surprisingly easy to find in the surrounding area, even on a busy weekend evening. The restaurant has a spacious layout with plenty of seating options both inside and outside. If you're a first-timer, don't hesitate to ask the staff for suggestions, as they're exceptionally warm, welcoming, and passionate about the menu.

My daughter and I shared the Willamette Reuben and her friend ordered the Italian Flag. We shared the Lardo fries. Oh man, the Reuben was perfection! The flavor of the meat and everything on the sandwich, from texture to flavor--chef's kiss! We heard that the Italian Flag was excellent too.
