This is an elite fast food restaurant and genuinely the best I have ever had! Love their use of local ingredients like Oregon raspberries and umpqua ice cream for the amazing sundae, walla walla onions for the amazing onion rings, and cheese from tillamook and face rock creamery. When we were in town, we ate here multiple times and everything was off the charts incredible! My favorite had to be the breakfast biscuit sandwich - the things dreams are made of! They get two stars for friendly & informed & BRAVE employees. The cashiers kindly explained the menu. But the food was not very good. The Parmesan & garlic fries were 80% regular fries. No, as they say, even distribush. Barely any actual garlic & Parmesan. Low quality potatoes too. The colossal burger was also not flavorful. Poor quality vegetables. Tossed together. Dry meat. The cooking crew was clearly untrained & unskilled. Again, the staff wanted to do well, but evidently are not supported by the franchise. But it was an adventure. Lots of characters in the area. One tossed his fries at me 2 seats away. He was upset I was ahead of him in the drink line, trying to rush me. Got his revenge. Staff seem used to this & did nothing. Work only gave us a short amount of time to get lunch and I had to work thru it so I came here really quickly to grab something. I was between a burger and a chicken sandwich. I went with the chicken sandwich. I wasn't impressed. It wasn't dry or anything. It just didn't stand out. Even the Garlic Herb Aioli didn't really smack and that usually does. At least it was prepared nice as in it wasn't hastily put together. They were extremely busy too. As I looked at other people's plates... The only thing they had that looked appetizing was the fries and the shake. They had a seasonal Oregon strawberry shake and I wished I had gotten that. The place is cool tho. Whenever I fly in and out of PDX, I've always walked by Burgerville in the airport terminal near D Gates but never had the time or opportunity to try them out. This location is on Martin Luther King Blvd nearby my hotel. I could easily walk on over and have an early dinner. A not so busy Monday afternoon, dine in was more of an idea rather than taking it to go and eating it in my hotel room. Simply order from the self-serve kiosk, pay by credit card, grab your number tent, and have a seat. My burger was a NW double burger with large fries and a lemonade. Food came out in about 5 minutes or so. Everything was hot and fresh. I guess I was satisfied because I didn't crave a milkshake. The restaurant has its own set of restrooms, drive thru service, and a loyalty program which I'll sign up next time I'm in town. We ordered milkshake 20 oz shakes.one vanilla and one fresh strawberry. We ordered everything went fine until we got to the window and I went to pay with a credit card. A car reader is attached to a pole and the cashier says "First; a couple of questions. The questions turn out tip % options . I chose No Tip. The clerk looks at the screen disappovingly and then goes around the corner and brings two shakes in 16 oz cups. That appears to have been sitting out for a while. Like somewhat melted and barely cold. We drive off and the shakes taste awful. Like I can't even finish it. I will not ever go back ! My advice is stay away and do not ever buy from anything from this location, ever! read more

I'm currently sitting on a flight back to Burbank. I have about 5 more minutes of free wifi before my hour runs out but I've been thinking about my Burgerville visit this morning for quite some time so here goes... I showed up at 655am and at 7am they opened the doors for me, right on time. The bright white lights with the blue and red make it feel both generic and eclectic at the same time. It seemed like something out of a TV show or something. I've heard some things about this place and as a true conneseiur of the working man's things in life I had to check this spot out. Boy did they not disappoint. I ended up getting a sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a hashbrown stuck inside and some pickled red onions which I now want with every breakfast sando I ever eat again. Piping hot, decent size and respectable batch brew coffee to wash it all down. I am a fan and I am now a believer. Service was great for it being 7am and the place was clean and well lit. Food was really good for a fast casual burger place. I had the seasonal Cranberry Brie Bacon burger. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was sweet, had a little bite to it, and the bacon was a good cut. My wife had the chicken strips and they were perfect! Big, juicy, and the breading wasn't crazy thick. Ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries. First impression: the patty was on the dry side and definitely not thick like pictured. The more I ate, I started to enjoy the beefiness of the patty and the nice brioche buns. It has the greenest lettuce I have ever seen and they sure put a whole lot in there. i was a regular. like multiple times a week. but in the end i could not deal with the "fries". i am neurodivergent, i have even for an autistic person some fairly profound sensory issues. one thing i truly cannot stand in my mouth are potato skins. i know theyre like chicken wings a garbage part capitalists have convinced everyone are the best, but to me they taste like dirt. doesn't matter how you was the potato, i cannot stand the flavor. so over time at burgerville i began to notice a higher dnd higher percent of every order of fries i was getting was composed of thin slivers of skin with very little to no actual potato. i tried repeatedly to bring the issue up all i got from doing so was essentially coupons for free fries. i get fast food places love skin on fries-i cannot understand the reason but i am aware they do. that said i cant spend four dollars on a bag of fries i can only eat 10% of. i just dont have the money for it. so i had to stop going. i still have over 3000 "rewards" points. and honestly i miss several of the staff there. though to be honest the last few times i went the people i liked weren't around and once they had completely blocked off the area i liked to sit and i had to eat with a dreadful feeling of being on display-right up front- it was extremely uncomfortable. but yeah i miss it and the previously enjoyable vittles. read more

I had read that place is vegan and gluten friendly and since I was staying across the street, it seemed worth a try. From the outside and when you walk inside, it seems like nothing fancy and even may feel questionable but the food was honestly delicious. I ordered the Plantville Cheezeburger and it actually tasted so good! Vegan cheese is not easy to nail but they picked the right products for sure. I didn't realize the bun wasn't gluten free so had a regular bun but the fries are gluten free so that was comforting. I was impressed with how fresh everything tasted for a fast food restaurant. We tried the colossal burger, no6 burger, halibut burger, truffle fries and Oregon strawberry shake. I stopped here on Monday night after visiting the Oregon Zoo. I was dying to try one of their Cocoa Peppermint Shakes. I was a little worried when I drove up and saw a security guard at the door, but it turned out that he wasn't even part of Burgerville. The parking lot and the area is a little intimidating but once I went inside I was okay. The staff looked kind of dazed and confused, like they weren't sure if one of them was supposed to take my order. Finally one of them did and my shake was at my table in no time. It was very good and it was one of the very rare times that I enjoyed it with whipped cream (had to have the peppermint sprinkles). It's a convenient location so I'm sure I'll be back. This is a fast food restaurant that hits the mark with most of what they make. It is exactly what it claims to be. It's fast food using slightly better quality ingredients. Some of it is local. We've tried many things from here via Uber eats. The fried fish and chicken tenders far surpass any fast food place I've been to. Burgers are tasty, especially the "fancier" ones. Their shakes are delicious though a little watery. We put them in the freezer for a bit and they turn out well. The only thing I don't care for are the fries.
