The guy who was working the cashier was in a terrible mood but shrug We ordered at the front, took our number post and found an open table inside. The water is serve yourself which I actually prefer. My fiancé and I were visiting town for a comedy show and wanted some food before hand. We saw the great reviews for this place and both were so excited to try it! We did not regret it and now I can't wait until we can go back. I got the Morrison and he got the Freemont. Then we got a side salad to share. We LOVED our sliders. I wish we got a few more to try! The Morrison was so tasty, loved the bun, the chicken was cooked perfectly, the pesto aioli was very flavorful and overall it was delicious. My fiance loved the Freemont as well. He enjoyed the roasted jalapeño on there and the beef was cooked perfectly. It was all fresh and so good. We didn't dine in so don't have much to say about service but after we ordered through door dash it was prepared quickly and everything was packaged well. PDX sliders has been on my list for some time, and I couldn't be more happy to say I have checked it off my list! We came to celebrate a friends birthday, and we got to try a few different things. I ordered a marquam and a Fremont slider and truffle fries. The Marquam was amazing and my personal favorite. It's basically a Reuben and a good one at that! The Fremont is bacon, roasted jalapeño and American cheese. It was also delicious and I would order it again. Think a little spice and a little smokey from the jalapeño, a little creamy from the American cheese and high quality beef cooked to perfection! There were jalapeños, which I took off because I don't like and can't handle spicy. The bean sprouts gave a good texture. I don't know why I took us this long to discover this place. The fries were one of the best that I've had in a long time, and I can go there just for the fries. The prices were reasonable considering how expensive everything is these days. My only issue is that you pay as soon as you walk in even for alcohol. You can't have an open tab. In addition, as pointed by other reviews you automatically get a service charge that they don't tell you about, so if you're not paying attention you will end up tipping twice which we did (I guess that is two issues...). read more

They are always on the list of must try burger spots in the city and sometimes in the country and with good reason. The sliders and burgers along with a full bar and plenty of seating makes them a perfect spot for a delicious meal. Went for sandwich week and they are supposed to be $10 at whatever location you go to. PDX sliders was offering up a smoked crispy bourbon, chicken sandwich, which turned out to be quite tasty. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the vegetable slaw made it taste somewhat like a bahn mi. Five stars for the actual sandwich. However, the restaurant puts a note at the bottom of their menu saying they will automatically add on 10% to your order to take care of their employees. I'm all for taking care of the employees but just raise your prices by 10% so you don't have to trick your customers into paying more. It seems a bit underhanded to participate in an event where all the other restaurants charge exactly $10 and you even put a sign out front saying that they are $10 and then charge $11 for it. read more

First time there. Food was top notch. There was a girl taking orders up front who said it was her first day and I said no worries, and to take her time. I said I wanted to place a to go order, and when the tablet prompted for tip I pressed none, because in my experience you tip when you have been waited on, or the requirements to put your order together are substantial. She appeared to be upset I didn't tip her and when my order was ready it wasn't made to go. There are signs saying you can't box up your own food so I let someone know I needed it boxed, and the guy who boxed my fries left one of the 4 flaps up, so I had to pull the box out of the bag he handed me and close it myself so my fries wouldn't get cold. These were some of the juiciest sliders I've ever had. My partner and I shared 4 different sliders to give them a try and all of them impressed us. We got the Sellwood, Hawthorne, Burlington, and Tilikum sliders. They were all very different but amazed us with the amount of flavor in each bite. The most interesting one for me was the Hawthorne because I was so impressed with how the flavors of the goat cheese, strawberry jam, and beef patty worked so well together- I've never tried anything like that before and Im glad I tried it here. The burger was incredibly underwhelming with a well done patty and toppings seemed to be the same quantity as if it were a slider (the bun was good), definitely wouldn't recommend for the cost when there are plenty of better options even within walking distance. The beer was really bad, something is up with the carbonation and tasted like a bad pils instead of an Ex Novo Pale so dunno if bad carb plus wrong beer or bad carb and nasty taps. Service was nice (they do auto add 10% for living wage which is noted at bottom of menu) and fries were quite good. Street seating is nice in afternoon as shaded by other bldgs but overall suggest going to the many other spots immediately nearby. Dunno what happened to this place. Maybe the best sliders we have ever had. They were all extremely good but some were just above and beyond. Sellwood and Broadway were our favorite. We didn't try any of the chicken ones and we regret that. Burlington was our least favorite but it was still good. Division Philly was too heavy but delicious. Hawthorne has a great after taste. We got the Hawthorne, Morrison, sellwood, and Philly. The brioche bun is fluffy and delicious, so if I have to pick the worst our of the bunch we got, probably the Philly (because it wasn't on the brioche and that's not to say it wasn't good). Tilikum fries were amazing, pretty much a meal on its own, I really how the cold slaw balances out the sauce and chicken tender bits. Ambience was cool, industrial vibe, just a cool chill spot.
