As for the burgers, the meat is absolutely packed with flavor and the veggie patty is one of the best i've ever had. We had the Teemah with blue cheese fondue is killer, super goey and cheesy. What the heck is this?!?! Seriously, who smashes burgers together like this?!! Friggin amazing!!! Again, I order the veggie version of that bacon peanut butter sauce idk what it was but with no mayo. That's the only thing I altered because mayo is disgusting and totally unnecessary, & I got fries. To go. Opened the box at home, still super warm, fries are perfect. And that sloppy burger. Visited my first Killer Burger today, some have raved about. Very unimpressed. Atmosphere, service were okay, nothing to write home about. The burgers however were less than we hoped for. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger, wife had 'pint size' burger with fries. My burger was very uncooked and pretty much tasteless, plus barely warm. Wife's was okay but would have been better if the bun wasn't cold. Plus this menu is way overpriced. Should have gone to the Costco nearby and had the hotdog and soda for a buck and a half. I just went to Salem's new Killer Burger tonight. This is the third time I have stopped by since they opened. I was severely underwhelmed with the speed and results of my order. While the burgers were tasty, the timing on my order was bad. The restaurant is not currently taking online, food delivery services, or phone orders. I make this point because tonight when I placed my order there is still a 45 minute wait. This was with the restaurant barely 1/2 full. I noticed 2 boxes on the prep table with burgers in them. Next to them was a box with an order of shareable fries. This was my order, but I didn't know that when I first saw them. I saw them pour half the box of fries into another order. My order then sat for another 10 minutes before someone closed up the boxes, put them in bag, and let me know my order was ready. I was home before I noticed they had never refilled the fries, just gave me a cold half order. I know Killer Burger can do better. I just hope the store here in Salem figures it out soon. read more

It appears that they are cooking in stages, not to order that's why it's a 45 minute wait for your food. Granted that have only been open for 18 days and have staffing issues, still think there's a better way! Very disappointed!!!! read more

I've been waiting to try Killer Burger since they opened but wanted to wait till the hype died down and for them to fix any issues. I ordering process is easy and I like that they bring it out to you. Kinda reminds of a Burgerville joint, which I love. I ordered the Bender since I'm a big spicy guy and honestly, it was delicious. Good spice, burger tasted good, not a small burger but also not super big where it becomes a mission to finish it. Staff was friendly and they pick up after you. Also, you can have beer here so that's a plus for me. I'll definitely be coming back again to try other burgers. read more

The food was fantastic. If you're not trying the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger, you're wrong! It's delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection. The owner/manager was walking around greeting people. All the staff were very helpful despite being in their opening week. The restaurant looked very nice with the murals painted on the walls. Went with friends to Killer Burger for my first time ever today. My friends had been to this same location a week ago and loved it. I was pumped to be trying a new place with the kind of rave review my friends were giving it because I am definitely a burger lover. We got 3 Classic Burgers and 1 order of fries to share. The burgers were ready for pickup about 25 minutes after ordering. We had been waiting inside and had been advised to move to another area and told that we would be able to hear when our name was called from that location - no worries we moved. The person advising us all to move along seemed a bit brisk and definitely not a warm fuzzy type person (she actually really rubbed me the wrong way with the way she spoke to another customer so I waited outside in the car while my friends waited inside for our order). We opted to eat in the car as it was raining and there were no tables available inside. We opened our orders up TBH it was pretty underwhelming. I was surprised at the size of the order of fries I received (about 15 fries of varying sizes with some being well over cooked and some being relatively normal) and the fact that some of the bacon for the burger was just lying along side the burger nestled in with the fries - not the most appetizing looking meal. For the cost of an order of fries the pickings were really slim but since only one person was eating fries it was fine - I just gave her the box and she was good to go. We had asked for salt and pepper only to be informed by the aforementioned employee that they do not carry salt or pepper for customers. My friends said that the food they got last week was simply better than what we had gotten today - their food was hot, the fries were far more plentiful, and they said the whole experience was far better. I have to be honest, I thought the burger was ok - nothing extraordinary but not terrible either. For a price point of over $10 for just the burger I cannot imagine a case where I would purchase from this chain again. They just aren't particularly special in my opinion and add to that the really small fry order and the chilly customer service and I think I'm going to stick with In 'n Out, Five Guys, or Habit. read more

Went in around lunchtime July 7, 2023. The line was very short but it still took about 15 minutes for our food to come out... too slow. However, once the food did come out, it was very good! IMO, better than Nancy's, better than In N Out! Very tasty. Speed up the food and this place will be more popular. read more

So I have been looking forward to checking out the new "Killer Burger" here is Salem. Unfortunately the only thing killer was the price, $11.45 for a so, so burger ; small fry and drink. My experience was just like what others have posted. It took 20 minutes for my food to come up to the window; unfortuately I could not hear them call my name over the blasting music and the kitchen staff's laughing and bantering back and forth; sounded like a frat house party. So bottom line is, the owners keep responding to the "1" star reviews with "please email us and tell us what we could do better" well they know what they need to do to make it a better experience, but obviously have not changed anything since opening. I would avoid this place and spend your money at In and Out or Nacy Jo's,iether one of these places have good value for wwhat you get. read more

Mine with no pickles and hers with no onions. We waited at least 30minutes to get served and my burger was barely warm. it was very salty and the cheese not melted. i could taste pickle which means they had to remove it. If the burgers were served hot it may have been okay. The fountain drinks are $2.95 each for a medium size and the shared fries are $6.95 so we didn't order any. I survive the killer burger, 45 minutes till ordering and 15 more for food to get delivered,got the classic same as my wife I saw was getting the small instead was the 1/3 of pound for more money, don't care for the money but I was expecting to get kill but no injuries,to salty, fries the same way good and crispy but to salty big pieces of rock or kosher salt but they were good. So I'm gonna start this off with saying I will probably try this place again but not for awhile. My coworkers and I were really excited to try this place, first problem was when we tried to call to place a pick up order there was no answer. Really not great when one of us had to leave work to get the food. Second bummer was my manager ended up waiting over an hour to place/ get our order (we got 4-5 burgers). The last thing that really was lame is the price of the food for what you get. I personally got a pint sized classic, while it was tasty I will say it was cold by the time we got it and for how much you spend you don't even get fries with it. I guess it's $4 more to add fries and when you're already spending $8-$12 bucks for a burger that just doesn't seem right to me.
