The shop I would say is mostly chocolate, candies, and things like caramel apples with a small ice cream shop. No non dairy options for my son. However, he found something in there that he wanted. Kilwins is by far our favorite ice cream anywhere, ever! We look for one every time we travel! This location is smaller than some but so worth the trip - velvety, creamy, flavorful delicious ice cream every time! Our favorite is the sea salt caramel but I also have grown to love the Kilwins Tracks too. Came here at night and it was busier that other shops we'd gone into. We were on line but the line got confusing since we were there for chocolate instead of ice cream like everyone else. I know the ice cream sells more but I kinda wished they had someone per section. In any case, the store was well-organized with a lot of options, even sugar-free options. I was looking for jordan crackers but we got caramel apples instead. The caramel on it was phenomenal!!! Buttery and the perfect consistency. The prices were reasonable and not outrageous at all for a touristy spot. read more

We were walking past kilwins and saw the fudge sign so of course we had to go in. They offer free samples which is nice and helps you make a decision. We got three slices of fudge: turtle, Maple Walnut, and chocolate. This slices are about .4 lb each and about $9. They do not offer partial slices. We didn't try anything else in the store though they do have a huge selection of sweets and ice cream at the back. Store is brightly lit, clean, well organized and very neat. It's a very pleasant experience. The service was very friendly and with a smile. We will stop in here again on our next trip to Myrtle Beach. read more

We all had a sweet tooth so we went to our trusty Yelp and found Kilwins. It is located in the Broadway at the Beach. Parking was a real pain, we drove around and around until we finally got one. When you enter the aroma of chocolate makes your mouth water. So many choices, I knew before I arrived that I wanted chocolate covered marshmallows. The rest of the family bought an assortment of goodies. This places is not very big and can get extremely crowded. Customer service was good and store is clean and well stocked. read more

Stop into Kilwins for gourmet ice cream (around 24 different flavors) and all kinds of chocolate treats. My wife and I opted for ice cream (1 scoop in a waffle bowl). She got the coffee flavor while I got mint chocolate chip. My sons wanted chocolate. So the older one got a milk chocolate covered rice krispy treat while the younger one got a heart shaped chocolate pop (lollipop). The younger one proceeded to drop the unwrapped pop on the ground and began to wail. They were nice enough to give us another pop on the house. We walked out of the store and he proceeded to drop it again. Total bill for two ice creams and two chocolate treats was a hair under $20. Myrtle has a silly 9% sales tax, so the price tag was reasonable to me. They've got a lot of treats, so we barely scratched the surface. read more

I love their fudge. The chocolate and salted caramel are excellent. I was disappointed with the Maple Walnut fudge as it didn't seem to have the wonderful maple flavor it usually does. I wondered if they forgot the maple. Got a bag of the caramel popcorn. It was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The choices were there for viewing, along the walk to the ice cream counter was the chocolates for sale and drool over. I was there for the ice cream, even though the chocolate ice cream. Usually kilwins brand is really good and have had great experiences in the past but this time it was ok. We got the chocolate sundae (cant remember exact name) but our server didn't know how to make it which is ok. So she read from her book and tried to make it but it seemed lacking something and definitely didnt have cherry. Visiting Myrtle Beach for my birthday and my daughter had Kilwins send over a birthday surprise to our hotel room. The owner personally delivered my package which was filled with his own homemade fudge, a half gallon ice cream, waffle cones, chocolate covered strawberries, box of variety chocolates, chocolate covered jellies!! Ok yes, it was an awful lot, but, my point is, everything we tried was so delicious. You just can't go wrong with anything!! I highly recommend those place even if it's just the ice cream you're interested in! But the chocolate covered strawberries? OMG!!! Third trip (now that we are local this will be our go to for ice cream) We popped in for Easter candy to send to family up north. Tasted their home made hot chocolate and sea salt carmel ice cream. It was still early for ice cream so we got chocolate covered Oreos. Yummy!!! Their fudge is amazing and we watched as they made Carmel apples today. We found this place listening to an ad on the radio station 93.9 Carolina Country and I actually won a contest they ran. Their chocolate covered strawberries are amazing!!!! My 5 year old and I enjoyed a delicious chocolate covered marshmallow while waiting out a huge storm today. However, they get a 2 star rating because they wouldn't let my child use the bathroom. The girl working directed me to a bathroom all the way down the end of the strip because apparently I would want to take my child out in the pouring rain. Ridiculous. A paying customer should be allowed to use restroom. If it was against the rules, the employee should have had empathy for a child. Owner replied. Well unfortunately this will be a mixed review!! We are local residents and decided to take some friends from out of town in to your establishment. The ice cream was very good & it wasn't busy which was nice. I decided to purchase a box of your sugar free chocolates they're a small box i'd say maybe a quarter of a pound max but when I got to the register the box of chocolate rang up $10 more than what was labeled on the box!! All of the boxes were priced the same at $7.99! I have worked in retail over the years many times and if something was priced incorrectly we still had honor that price!! They would not let me purchase it for that price and changed all the boxes right in front of me which I thought was poor business practices!! I understand fully that people have to make money but we also have to be honest in our practices and it just felt wrong!!! read more

Me and my lady stopped in here because our long pink tongues were craving some ice cream and we hopped our a way to this place. As die hard broadway fans this was the first time we ever got ice cream here. The place was a little busy around 10pm but the service was pretty fast. Our server who was a young lady was so sweet and charming and right on her game in our service my lady was so thrilled. She was so good we had to give her a tip. The ice cream itself was very expensive but that was given since its a tourist place. The ice cream it self was good and it melted in my mouth like a hot summer day. Against my advice my wife bought fudge here when we normally get it from the fudgery. The fudge she got was so old and crusty and of course I had to say I told you so. Lol what added insult to injury was when we walked in to the fudgery and the smell was glorious and all the fudge was really fresh. My family & I were visiting Myrtle beach and when looking for an ice cream place we had decided to go here! Walking in everything looked so delicious I was ready to buy the entire store. Unfortunately the very poor attitudes from the employees told me otherwise.
