May have found my go-to florist in the sgv area. You really can't get much better than this for the price. I called and gave a really rough description of what I wanted .. "Pink, pastel, around $50." Really not much to work with, but Kim Florist was able to output such a beautiful piece. It was ready in an hour. I cannot wait to think of another reason to buy flowers so that I can pay this florist another visit! I am very happy with the product.

Gorgeous flower arrangements for a great price in the San Gabriel area. Kim is super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and my family loves coming here for bouquets! My bouquet was arranged on time and was very beautifully done. I paid for the small size but the florist upgraded it to the bigger size for free! That was very sweet of them. They were super friendly and gave me tips on how to preserve the bouquet. I would definitely come again if I need another bouquet. read more

Great experience. I needed a flower lei for a graduation and I saw on their website that they make flower leis. It was outside of standard graduation season so I called and the lady (Kim I'm assuming) was nice and I told her what day/time I wanted to pick it up. When I arrived the lei was ready and it was gorgeous, exactly as described. The price was great as well. There's a fairly large parking lot in the back so parking is easy, I would definitely come back here. read more

Kim Florist and her husband were amazing! We decided to have our wedding last minute and wanted to see if anybody could whip together a wedding bouquet, boutonnières, and centerpieces. We walked in and basically explained our vision with some reference photos and they were able to confirm all our requests, as well as get everything arranged in only 3 weeks. I also wanted to get a regular bouquet for a surprise bridal shower and they accommodated that as well within a week. We were very satisfied with our end product. The flowers they chose were very nice, even throwing in some flowers that weren't in season until next month. They also help do delivery if your event is local in the SGV. They also do a great job of explaining that different flowers they're using, as well as cost based on season and what's available. read more

I called ahead on a Sunday (extra kudos for being open on a Sunday) to inquire if we can pick out our own flowers for a bouquet -- which they graciously accommodated. At kim's I bought some flowers for Mother's Day for my Grandma we did not expect such high quality flowers from kim's. The good part was that they were very fast and completed it under an hour the people were very nice and the business is family owned! I highly recommend this place if you want some high quality flowers! If your in a rush and you don't know where to go to just come down to Kim's and toy wont be disappointed! read more

Came in for a last-minute Mother's Day bouquet with my friend. I ended up being super indecisive so I didn't buy anything since I wanted to check out another store (which I regret). The man helping us out was really patient with my friend who had a hard time deciding what to get within her budget. In the end she settled on some wrapped carnations-- 12 for $25. They look amazing (pink and yellow with baby's breath= A+ combination). This was done in less than 20 minutes for a walk-in. The young Vietnamese lady who assisted me took about 10 minutes to think through the design and, in the end, suggested upgrading to a larger bouquet for $75 with a bigger arrangement and a different wrap style. I was initially hesitant, but I appreciated that she took my unusual idea seriously and was willing to work with it. What stood out to me most was her willingness to bring my vision to life. Not everyone would have been open to incorporating Pokémon toys into a bouquet, but she embraced the idea and did her best to make it work. The final arrangement was thoughtful, unique, and made for a fun graduation gift for my son. I didn't catch her name, but I hope the owner sees this review and knows that she provided wonderful customer service. Thank you for taking my idea seriously and helping create something special for my son's big day.

They added a card with what my friend had but the front of the envelope said to:(friends name) instead of mines which was actually pretty funny. Found this place on Yelp and was in search of a lei for my cousin's TCHS graduation. I was set on…read moregetting a green and yellow lei as opposed to the usual purple lei. I found a photo of a green and yellow lei they had previously sold to past customer and decided to call in and ask if they had one in stock. The graduation was a few days out so I was pretty rushed to find a lei in time. I called in and spoke to the person (I think the name was Ronnie?) and they kindly informed me that they would have to see if they can make a yellow and green colored lei in time. They gave other colored options just in case the green and yellow was unavailable. After I got off the phone, they let me know the price (about $71) which needed to be paid before they can put the order in. I venmoed the money over and received a photo of the lei the day before graduation. I let her know that I will be in the morning of the graduation to pick it up and everything went smoothly! Communication was great, pick up time was easy and my cousin was thrilled with the lei! The price was a bit high though but the customer service was great!

The transaction went through, my credit card was charged, and I received a confirmation email. On their website they said the earliest pick up time was 10:30a. I wrote a note saying I will pick up the order at 11:30a. The next day I drove to the florist shop and arrived at the hotel only to find that they had cancelled my order and had notified me via email two hours before my pick up time. The florist said they were booked with a wedding and were unable to fulfill my order. I was unable to find an alternative with such short notice and showed up to my event empty handed. UPDATE: it has been 13 days since I placed my order with this company and have yet to receive my refund. When I tried to call the phone number provided, it's a Google voice number that no one picks up. I sent two emails and there has been zero communication. This company stole $500 from me. There are several major north-south roads in this area, and Rosemead Boulevard is one of them. San Gabriel Boulevard is another. The road is wide and easy to drive. The nursery is right across the street from Com Tam Kieu Restaurant, one of the better Vietnamese broken rice restaurants in Southern California. On the way there, I passed a construction site, probably a new apartment building. It strongly gave me the impression of an EB-5 green card project, the kind of real estate development marketed less as a normal apartment building and more as an immigration investment package for Chinese buyers. In the middle of the SGV, that feeling was hard to miss. After that came the nursery. I drove from north to south, made a left turn onto a smaller street, and parked outside. The entrance is tiny. You walk through it and immediately reach the counter, where there was even a line. After that, you pass into an indoor room stocked with fertilizers, plant stakes, soil, mulch, and other gardening supplies. Beyond that is the back garden, which is much larger than expected and quite elegant. The plants are clearly well cared for, and the stone sculptures give the place a strong hint of Chinese culture. Along the edge of the main building, there are stacks of Buddha heads, seated Buddhas, and other stone figures, mostly in Chinese Buddhist or imagined Buddhist styles, though not necessarily following any strict traditional standard. There are Chinese signs everywhere, which makes sense for a nursery in the middle of the SGV. Many of the plants have bilingual names. The prices are not cheap, but they are fair. The orchids are much more expensive than what you would find at Trader Joe's or Costco, but they are also more beautiful and much stronger, so I would not call them overpriced. The plants use different colored tags, similar to what you see in many American discount stores. Some are very cost-effective. It is definitely worth stopping by, and even more worth it if you happen to find some good discounted plants. The cashier was a little rude, but as a Chinese person, I found it completely acceptable. I have seen much worse. Even though she was in a rush, the service was not bad. She even gave me an extra bag so the soil would not spill in my car. Overall, this is a good nursery and I would recommend it. It is even better if you understand Chinese culture, because many of the details will make more sense.

Do not buy from this florist! I ordered flowers on Valentine's Day for my 80+ year old mother who lost her husband (my father). The flowers were never delivered! I called them at least twenty times and every time I got the same recording. Three days later, I got an email that they were refunding my money, after I tiold them I was calling the police, and the email said it would take up to seven days for me to get it. As a result, they'll have my money for eleven days and my Mother got nothing on Valentine's Day!!! Sooo disgusted! read more
