I would alway drive by this flower shop whenever I visit the Buddha supply store within the same building strip. My friend's grandfather recently passed away and his funeral service was on the weekend of Thanksgiving. On short noticed I decided to stop by this flower shop after my shift at work. The owner seemed helpful at first, offering a few options, like a full refund or a partial refund with delivery of whatever flowers they currently had. Even though the mix-up was my fault, we reached a verbal agreement. I agreed to take the flowers they had in stock and receive a partial refund to make up for the mistake. I thought that was fair and appreciated the flexibility. But then, without a single word to me, the owner went ahead and added more flowers to the order to cover the remaining balance and sent them off, without telling me. After the fact, the owner tells me that "everyone loved the flowers," implying that it all worked out fine, and now they don't want to honor the partial refund we agreed upon! (By the way, no one like the flowers). If the owner had just asked me, I would have gone along with her solutions. If she told me from the beginning no refund, this situation would have not occurred. But why did she have to trick me like this? It made me so angry! We had a clear agreement, and to turn around and break that trust feels like a complete betrayal. Why would she do that? Why lie and change everything behind my back? I'm beyond frustrated! It hurts more since this was not the first time I purchase flowers. read more
