We are regulars here. The owner is friendly. The szechwan lo-mein is great! Combination Fried Rice, General Tso Chicken, all thumbs up! All the food we order is good. Good portion sizes. If you can catch a lunch special during the week, it's a good value, under $5, which includes a drink! I had food from here a few years ago when I was visiting the area. I moved back to the area and couldn't wait to eat here again. I attempted to call my order in and kept getting the fax machine so I drove over to find them open. My order was fried rice, lo mien, General Tso chicken and shrimp toast. The positive: friendly staff, the food wasn't greasy, large portions, and the rice and noodles were yummy. Alot of food with a little flavor. We ordered from Kim wah on NYE based on reviews from yelp. The shrimp lo mein had a ton of noodles that were dry, very little shrimp or veggies. The shrimp fried rice was dry. We were extremely disappointed. read more

The food was not horrible. But it wasn't incredibly tasty either. They certainly did give generous portions which I appreciated. The food however, did not settle very well. We ate some the day of and the day after. Both times caused digestion issues. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this particularly restaurant. read more

I have Celiac and I'm a vegan. When eating asian, I always order the Mei Fun rice noodles with no soy sauce, and no egg--just noodles and veggies. The noodles tasted good and the portion was VERY generous, so I thought it was great for the price. Unfortunately, my husband didn't fair so well. He ordered food with chicken and beef. He wasn't impressed with the flavor and then found himself sick in the middle of the night. The extra portions may have been heaping but everything with meat in it was thrown out the next morning anyway. If you're going vegan, then you're probably safe, and I didn't have any problem with wheat contamination. If you're ordering meat, beware. read more

This Chinese carryout gets it right. The shrimp egg foo young is as good as it gets. All ingredients are simply fresh. The General Tsao's chicken is perfectly flavored and has just the right amount of heat. The facility is very clean too. Bottom Line Up Front: The food is tasty and they're one of the better Chinese restaurants in Bel Air. However, the wait for your food is ridiculous!! I've never seen a Chinese restaurant that takes 35 minutes to prepare fried rice, soup and egg foo young. This has happened to many times when I've called to order and at this point I'm disgusted. With that said, I'm going to take my business to another Chinese restaurant in Bel Air that cooks just as good or even better with less of a wait. Best Chinese food in town. Fresh, delicious, and affordable.

The food here is great- much, much better than any of the other Asian take-out places in this area. My only complaint is that they never seem to have the Mei Fun. Almost every time I call to order it, they don't have it, even though it's on the menu. So I have to drive to Peking House in Perry Hall to get good Mei Fun, which is so disappointing because Kim Wah's is better when they actually have it. Other than that, I love this place. I order the beef and broccoli w/o rice, and they put a very generous amount in the container. I find the food good for a local Chinese place, it's pretty much on par with the rest of the take outs. The only drawback that I found was when I tried to phone my order in, and the fax came on. They don't have two separate lines, which they should. they might get more orders that way.
