I will always come back because they make sure that I'm set and have what I need. I have been coming here for almost two years, and this has been the only optometrist that I actually trust. I'm always super skeptical when it comes to healthcare professionals since I've had so many horrible experiences. But this place is awesome! It MIGHT be because of Debbie (she helps at the front), but she never fails to make me feel appreciated as a customer. If I ever need anything or something has happened to my contacts, she is so fast in helping me out. I had my glasses done here as well and it's hard for me to have glasses because I have astigmatism as well. I let them know I couldn't see very well with my new glasses, and they were very quick to address it. It wasn't their fault (one second I see well, the next I don't) but it was nice to have an optometrist be receptive to my concerns.

It started with my new exam, but a different doctor.  The exam, itself, seemed alright.  When my new glasses came in a week later, things went downhill quickly.  I was handed them, asked to look around and then dismissed.  As the afternoon went on, I struggled to focus.  I also discovered several scratches on both lenses.  I called the next day to request to be re-examined, along with having the lenses replaced.  The doctor admitted to bumping up my prescription because of my elevated astigmatism.  A completely new setup was ordered. I was called two weeks later and, again, handed the glasses, asked to look around and dismissed.  I didn't take the time to look at the lenses carefully.  When I got home and went to clean them correctly, I noticed the left lense looked as though it had been cleaned with sand paper.  I've owned my previous pair for two years and they have not a scratch on them. I took them back in, with an attitude.  They said they would address the issue promptly.  Two weeks later, I'm told they are back.  I asked them to inspect the lenses before I wasted time coming back in.  Three hours later, I get a call to inform me that the lab applied the earlier prescription.  I was told I would receive some form of reimbursement.  It never happened. It took another three weeks to get them back, and they were wrapped in foam.  The office assistant informed me that the lab supervisor inspected and wrapped them personally.  As she was the only person in sight, I was handed a set of ill-fitting glasses that drove me crazy. Costco was amazing with the little time it took to fit and adjust them. I cannot recommend Main Street Optometry at all.  As so many reviews have stated, the level of quality and customer service has gone downhilll dramatically.  Warranty withstanding, I will not be returning.

First off we weren't told the Dr Weiss wasn't going to be the Dr. We should have been notified and given the option of the other Dr, after all this is a medical visit. This is Covid and I saw the tech Sara in the room behind the reception area with her mask pulled down. I should have left right then and there. When it came to my turn, I asked her to keep it pulled up tight. The eye exam was uneventful the Dr seemed very disinterested. The optician was fine though. But picking up the glasses was horrible. The receptionist handed them to us. We had to ask for them to be fitted. We both said the glasses are wrong. The receptionist said try it but my husbands RX is so wrong he can't see well from one eye and the lenses are size of hideous coke bottles. They are remaking them. As for me every thing is fuzzy. The receptionist said try it. Well today I'm dizzy I can't wear them, I've tried. I've worn glasses for 51 years this is ridiculous. I have no faith or even want to go back to this place but I have to. I'd rather 100% my money back. I've called my insurance company. OBTW they slip in the return policy into the the paperwork after you pay without saying what the return policy is.

Life-changing…read more.. After a brain injury (TBI) five years ago--right at the start of the pandemic--I struggled daily with balance and vision issues. It took over two years just to get off the waitlist for Vision Therapy, which meant my condition went untreated for far too long. During that time, I rarely felt confident going out on my own, driving, or even working on my computer due to constant eye strain, headaches, and intense dizziness. When I finally had my first appointment in October 2024, I was reassured that improvement was possible with patience and consistency. Fast forward nearly two years, and I can confidently say that Vision Therapy--especially the weekly sensory table sessions combined with daily eye and brain exercises--has made an incredible difference. I noticed a small improvement after my very first 30-minute session on the sensory table, which gave me hope. From there, each week built on the last. Dr. Dukes recommended 36 sessions, and by around session 20, I already felt about 80% better. Progress is gradual, and everyone's experience may differ, but for me, the improvement in balance and visual comfort has been remarkable. The exercises done at home are just as important--consistency truly makes all the difference. Taylor has been exceptional throughout this journey. Her guidance, encouragement, and expertise kept me motivated every step of the way. She not only provided effective tools and techniques but also took the time to listen and offer genuine support. She's an incredible therapist, and I'm so grateful for her care. The sensory table sessions themselves are deeply relaxing. You can choose to have music or simply enjoy the quiet. I've been going to the office for more than three years and tolerated a lot when it comes to the "store"- this last couple of experiences are forcing me to go elsewhere. I was promised a $200 credit if I ordered my contacts through them, making it cheaper than ordering them online. I was told I would receive an email. Email never came and to be honest, I don't have the time to chase it down. When I finally went back to the office, "there was nothing they could do" because it was past the 90 days. I was also told that I would get a refund if I returned any unused contacts. A refund is a refund, however, when I tried to return the unused contacts, $217 worth of them, I was told it would only apply to a store credit and new contacts. Well, I have no interest in ordering new contacts nor do I want to purchase glasses from you- especially since I tried at least 50+ pairs and didn't like any of them. I took my Rx elsewhere and I ended up with two pairs for glasses for less than the cost they were quoting me for a single pair. Everything was an up charge and they weren't willing to work with me. So, I was basically out $417 for trusting them. Never again. My recommendation is to find another ophthalmologist and purchase your glasses elsewhere.
