I have been coming to this studio every so often over the years and love when I am able to make it work in my schedule. Raising 4 kids from ages 14-2 is wild. But this place... this is self-care for me. I can turn off all the mom needs and really tune out the world. Truly appreciate this gem in our community!!! Located right off the freeway, Yoga Core Fit is super easy to get to even though I live in Fairfield. The studio is usually open at least 15-30 mins prior to class start time so you are able to ask questions, look around, get a vibe for things. She always has cute things in her little shopping area. As you enter the big yoga room with all the silks hanging it can feel a little intimidating but don't worry, Carol or whoever your instructor is will walk you through how to use the silks safely. I have also taken a class with Lorianna and she is awesome too!! Always feel super comfortable in her class. There are different types of aerial yoga classes so sign up for the one you feel would align best with your goals. Try one of the free ones or try the new student special! She also has a monthly unlimited plan I've been wanting to start but it's hard for me to commit to at this time. Once my oldest can drive though! Lol!!

I was disappointed at this months as there were way too many people to puppies. And many individuals chose to hold onto the puppies for long periods of time. I brought my son as I had informed him it was fun with all the puppies. Will look for another location that does this, due to this last experience.

The class was a combination of challenging, yet restorative at times and the instructor was great. I will definitely return when in town again!

Walk…read morein and it's very much "this is a yoga room" and that's it... cubbies, one bathroom, water station, a little swag, done. No showers so plan accordingly unless you enjoy marinating in 90+ degree hot Pilates after. Classes are packed, community is strong, lots of events, and the infrared heat is elite. Ella did not come to play... class went to the very last minute and absolutely delivered. Location is clutch downtown, easy to grab a coffee after or linger and pretend you're cooling down while catching up with a friend. The "changing room" situation is basically a tiny partition so I waited it out and took over the bathroom once people cleared. Love that they now have two locations, Davis and Sacramento, so clearly they're doing something right. Would I come back? Yeah... but not being on ClassPass feels like a missed opportunity, especially in a town with a steady mix of students, short-term stays, and people studio-hopping to find their spot. Being on the app would bring in a consistent flow of people trying classes who could turn into regulars once they find a place they click with... plus it makes it easy for visitors and in-between-membership folks to still show up. I'd definitely be here more often.

I have been taking yoga classes with Dorene Adams for over 10 years…read more I follow Dorene because taking her classes makes me feel good, is that simple! Dorene is a nurse, she loves anatomy, and how our bodies behave and evolve. I know I'm in great hands with her and I do receive great health benefits from her classes. I can see my body improving, and my flexibility and balance getting better every day. Dorene often proposes new ideas and exercises to add to our yoga and Pilates classes to keep them fun and updated but always asks for our feedback and adapts to our suggestions. Dorene is a very sweet and humble person, with a very warm personality and a contagious optimism. Her classes are fun and she makes us laugh often, even when we are working on a difficult pose. Dorene's classes and the Wild Oak Wellness studio are almost addicting to me. I love this studio, all the instructors, and the loving community that we have all created here. I feel at peace and more content just walking in the door!

She incorporates her vast knowledge of anatomy and decades of nursing, yoga and teaching experience, plus ongoing lifelong-learning and practice in fitness & health--into classes that regenerate, strengthen, stretch, inform, calm...and are at times raucously fun and expressive, as well! I love when she effortlessly rattles off yoga and anatomy terms amidst her clear, step-by-step articulations of the moves; all while simultaneously able to stay on-track herself, with moves, sequences, rhythm, and overall curriculum of the given class! Each class is thoughtfully timed to include a harmonious blend from warm-up to max energy to cooldown. I like her customized, diverse music offerings, too, which also evolve over time. It's obvious that Dorene takes great care in planning her classes with the intention of attending to varying student needs and specific areas of the body; and she's equally enthusiastic in her commitment to sharing continued learning and growth with her students. Dorene and Wild Oak Wellness owner, Tamara, are creating a wonderful gathering place with diverse offerings for all sorts of life- & health-enhancing enrichment!

I arrived late afternoon one day to get the preliminaries out of the way (sign my waiver, etc)…read morebefore signing up for my first class. Upon arrival I told the young female receptionist I had joined online through One Pass and probably needed to sign my waiver, download their app for check ins (I assumed), and get class information, etc. Instead of welcoming me in any way she told me twice they don't do One Pass. I tried assuring her I had received confirmation (from Club Pilates). She asked if perhaps my membership was through Class Pass because they didn't participate with One Pass. I told her I was given a member code to give to them. While I searched my phone for the code she exasperatedly asked for my name. It was at that time she put down the towels she was folding. She looked on her computer, and said, she found it. I signed the waiver, asked my questions - including how much private lessons cost? She replied, "oh they cost a lot of money." She never told me how much. I left. I felt so unwelcome. I wondered if she just didn't want to do her job or didn't want me there. Her sheer lack of effort, condescending, and lackadaisical attitude made me wonder should I cut my losses and find another gym? After careful consideration I decided that she didn't get to decide my fate so I scheduled my first class with Madi and loved it! I haven't seen that receptionist since and hopefully she's gone. Lol. The gym is small and intimate with reformer machines. Classes range from beginner to advanced pilates daily. The location is at the Outlets near Peets Coffee with shared parking. Like the gym but minus 2 stars for the front desk representative.
