The absolute worst company I've dealt with in the Refuse industry. The service is close to non existent at times. We had weeks in a row that they wouldn't show up to take the trash. Then they would say they were coming and never came. Their Management is HORRIBLE. My rep is almost non existent as well, until I send an email and then I get a sorry excuse as to what happened and then promises that they will be out the next day to pick up. Then I get charged for an additional pick up- when we had bins overflowing because of their lack of pick up- so we had to have them clear an extra bin because we the staff had our trash chute overflowing since they missed services. Their customer service is completely lacking and they take no fault for their services and no accountability. If my rep even gets back to me it's constant excuses and he's made it very clear that he is not a fan of me by constantly trying to dodge dealing with me and going directly to my maintenance manager. So I do not recommend them at all for personal or private use. I have a building to maintain and they do not care that their service affects my building and my tenants. This company sucks! Crappy pickup service. If you try to call abouit service or to cancel service, be prepaired to spend an hour or more on hold. Don't try to cancel on their web page "contact us", it will be ignored and you will be billed for service not canceled. I would recomend sending them a certified letter several weeks before you cancel, so they don't screw you too. Life is short, bad news travels fast. read more

Our normal pick-up was Tuesday the 4th of July, so it was already delayed by 1 day for the holiday, our trash was put out on Wed. at 4am (have on security cams) but yet here it is Friday at almost 4pm and it is still sitting outside piling up more trash for animals to rip up. They have been called twice!! They had it marked as picked up, it was NOT, we have the camera proof it was out on time, just some lazy a$$ driver not wanting to do it and mark it off like we wouldn't say anything or they would try to say it wasn't out on time!! They rescheduled for Thursday, it wasn't picked up then, and here it is Friday after calling for a second time and now talking about doubling up next week!!! NO!!!! We pay for WEEKLY trash pickup not BI-WEEKLY!!! I do not want to store trash for another week and double up!! If they want to do bi-weekly then they better give us 2 hoppers and a cheaper bill!!! We have been customer's for over 23 years (J&J and now Kimble), this is by far the worst it has ever been!! Worst service ever. I had them less than a month, 2 issues. had to call 1st pickup, the driver claims I didn't have my trash out. Liar ! 2nd issues the driver refused to pick up my carpet which was tied up with twine in 3 places only 2 pieces were longer than 4 ft. Then the customer service center wasn't any help. Try to put blame on me. What business does this. Oh and I spoke with a so called manager who was no help. Oh did I say I paid a year in advance! I would not do any business with a company like this. on more then one occasion my trash has been skipped for no reason. The most recent happened September 9th 2021, I have 2 trash cans, 1 recycler, & 1 yard waste can & cameras on my house :D I watched the garbage truck empty one trash can (at 7:49 a.m) so I contacted the company KIMBLE & the woman asked me all kinds of questions about what was in my trash can.......... They were sending the corresponds to the wrong location and I set the service back up was transfered for them to schedule someone to come back and she would not and would not let me talk to a supervisor. been with the company over 10 years and never had this much problems before and would not recommend and no customer service!! We recently switched companies after months of having issues with Kimble. Our trash would sit for days, sometimes even weeks, beyond when it was actually supposed to be picked up. Sometimes we would get robocalls letting us know the trash was delayed, and other times we wouldn't. Many times, even if we did get a call saying it was delayed, they still wouldn't come on the new date specified. The most discouraging part however, was the dishonesty we experienced when the drivers would claim that our trash wasn't out when they came around (our neighbors experienced the same lie). I am not the kind of person to write reviews (in fact this is my first time ever writing something on Yelp), but I would strongly advise against using this company until they can get their employee situation under control. read more

I've had nothing but trouble with this company it's excuse after excuse for not picking up my trash when I pay my bill on time and do my part to make sure my bills are paid but they can't seem to manage to pick up the trash when they're supposed to. Their excuse today was too many bees when I call to ask why they did not pick up my trash again, I was informed that I was told I must spray my trash cans with bee spray before they can come get it so I went out sprayed my trash cans with bee spray. Called them back and they told me they had no one again to come pick up my trash. The week before They left one trash bag in the bottom of my trash can and didn't take it, the week before that didn't show up again. I called they told me. Can't beat Kimble-sometimes there is a delay in picking up recycle bin, mainly due to a shortage of drivers Kimble is able to hire. After 1-2 extra days, the bin is picked up. Please read your contract. No prorated refund, but yet no guarantee on their commitment to pick up your trash in a timely manor. They can pick up whenever they so choose. It can sit out a day, 2 days 3 days. Ours sits our a minimum of a day after our scheduled pickup day and some times the whole weekend smelling up the neighborhood. They use to robo-call to let you know they will be late a day, and now they do not even do that. The worse customer service when you call. Awful company, customer service is rude , garbage left on one side of a residential street while the other side is picked up at 7 am. I was told the driver is pulled off the route after so many hours, at 7am! That is why he can't pick up the trash on one side of a street but picks up all other trash around , ridiculous!! read more

I waited on hold for 12 minutes before speaking with someone. Approximately every four weeks and sometimes more frequently, I receive a call that the trash will not be picked up until the next day. However, there recording does not say next business day ... which means on one occasion I foolishly thought it would be on Sunday as they did not say business day. On one occasion with it sitting out I had raccoons get into the can. If I would have been bitten, I would have pursued legal action as they said to leave the can out Definitely, would not recommend Kimble to others. My neighbors have either Trissel or Republic and their's has been picked up on the appropriate day. read more

Selling my house and not only do they NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND for the prepaid service when you move (how is this legal?) but they didn't even pick up the trash the last pickup (said they did and accused me of not putting it out despite it being out from the day before) and refused to send anyone to get it. So now I have to leave a full can of garbage (including dog poop from 3 German shepherds for the week) for the new buyers. Apparently this is their level of service. I have never written a complaint before so I hope I'm doing this right. I had six refuse accounts (2 commercial, 4 residential) for 10 years with 2 companies and never had a single issue. In January of 2020 Kimble bought these accounts and that's when the problems started. Missed pick ups within the first few weeks of service. Cans were red tagged for being too heavy or not at the curb when the cans were in the same location for 10 years prior and never an issue. Things settled down for a year and a half service was OK. Only a few misses here and there. Fast forward to April of 2022 and Kimble sends notice that service day will be switching from Wednesdays to Mondays at some of these accounts. That's when service was interrupted completely at two locations. Tenants contacting me repeatedly asking about trash service and one even contacted Kimble herself.......So I was forced to cancel service on April 28th, 2022. My new service provider has been spot on perfect. Not a miss not a complaint. Like it's supposed to be for four months now. Unfortunately Kimble billed me the after the accounts were canceled on 5 of the 6 accounts. One account appears to have been closed properly but one commercial account still shows "active" with a balance due and four residential accounts show a balance due with a "credit hold" on the account and service has been interrupted. It took nearly two months for Kimble to come and retrieve the green bins which had to be moved to another location and stored by me so the new provider could have room to service the cans. I've been trying to work with customer service and collections in order to get these billing issues rectified for several months, but today is 8/27/2022. My accounts have been closed for four months and Kimble continues to bill me. Please help. Thank you. read more

Absolutely horrible. I understand that the construction is causing some road closures. It has been a whole summer and now fall, they should have their routes figured out by now. Been using the company for 3 years and they are pure lazy. Not always picking up when suppost to. I am about to switch to Buckeye, the neighbors use them and they actually pick up trash. Even if the construction has our road closed.. We even moved our trash to accommodate them and still they refuse to get the trash, while Buckeye has still came down to get the neighbors and they did not have to move the trash. We have to call the company every week to tell them it is not picked up. We have had Kimble for a little over two months now since moving to a new area. In these past months we have had numerous issues with the company and today I will be switching to Republic. The reason we are finally switching is that we have met our wits end when yesterday, the day our trash is suppose to be picked up every week, it was not. Later in the evening we received a voicemail stating that they won't be coming this week to pick up our trash due to a driver shortage. They did state our account will be receiving a credit, however that doesn't help with the issue of having a weeks worth of trash that we have no where to dispose of. I am in awe at how a business can be so unprofessional and still remain afloat. Customers be aware this company will defraud you. I was a loyal customer for 5 years but the services started going down hill and I just could not rely on them picking up our trash anymore. I cancelled there service shortly after I had submitted a payment for the next 3 month of service but was told when canceling that I would receive a refund check within 2 weeks. I just called them to inquire about my refund check and was told Supervisor Heather decided that we are not going to get a refund. The reason was "Just because". They accepted our payment, and promised to pick up my trash each Friday. I fulfilled my side of the agreement by having the trash receptacle out on the street the evening prior to trash day. of the 5 weeks that I placed the trash out on the street, I brought the bin back full 3 of those times! They only picked up my trash twice. Each time trash pickup was missed, I called into customer service. They would apologize and reaffirm their promise to me that my trash would be picked up going forward. Things did not get better. On the third call, I cancelled service. A refund was offered. The purpose of this review is to spread the word. We're a family of 7, and to have the trash missed became a huge inconvenience for me. Service issues SHOULD HAVE BEEN CORRECTED after the first call-in. If service issues would have been fixed after the second call-in I would have been pleased. My recycle bin was not picked up on the trash pickup day. I called the company each day after for several days and was told they would send a truck out but no one showed up. I would leave a no star review if possible, my trash was not picked up, i have put my bin out at the same time, when i contacted them they were extremely rude and stated that the bin was not out there but in an extremely rude way, Lisa was the lady that spoke to me, she was extremely unpleasant and told me my trash would have to wait. First of all, i put my trash out at the same time every day for over a year and have never been late, i dont know if they came early or just ignored the bin this time for some reason but i have not changed my schedule at all, beside the point is how rude they are. Terrible service. They did fine for a couple years then all of the sudden they started picking up late by at least one day for both services, recycling and trash. Called and asked why and they said they landed a big contract so they were running behind...after 6 months of being late almost every week, had enough and cancelled. Was told they don't provide refunds as part of their "policy." They're promise was to pick up trash on time but they didn't do that...will be reporting them to the BBB as well. I guess this company is unable to pick up trash in the snow. They failed to pick mine up this week. When I called, the operator rudely told me it snowed. I said, I know it snowed. The street was plowed. You service NE Ohio where it snows all winter. I asked for a credit, since they failed to do their job, and was told NO. Very disappointed in this company, in the rude operator who answered the phone, and that a company that has a job to work in all kinds of weather, doesn't work in the snow. Pitiful. read more

I've been a customer for 4 yrs now and never had a problem trash gets picked up every friday unless its a holiday. the only times they didnt take something they left a note saying why. like a mattress had to be wrapped in plastic or things like that. KIMBLE RECYCLING IS RIDICULOUSLY INCOMPETENT AND SHEISTY Before paying for service I called them to confirm what their services consist of. I sternly asked them when garbage pick up is and was told garbage pick up would only be every Friday except if major holidays fall on this day. I said to her that I'm specifically asking because I'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair and have a very difficult time getting the trash taken out since my house is approx 150 feet from the road and have to wheel my chair on an incline up to the road which makes it VERY difficult to move a garbage can even if it's on wheels, and I don't want the garbage left out more than a day because of a neighbor lets his dogs out on the weekends and they already knocked down my garbage can and tore into the garbage several times making a mess for me having to clean it up regardless of me calling my local animal control office and then the sheriff several times after animal control did nothing and well the sheriff didn't do anything to stop the problem either. So the customer service rep said in a compassionate voice how she understands completely and yes garbage will be picked up in your area every Friday. After confirming some other details with her I went ahead and paid for their service where by she confirmed my address a couple times and even said she could see my residence by having brought up a google map, confirmed which side of the road I live on and exactly described my driveway, front yard, and house, and then said she placed a marker on my residence and input that into the driver's route plan. So Thursday night came and I got my garbage can put out. Friday came and they NEVER picked up my trash. In fact I was out in the garage when I seen them drive right past my house. So I had to wheel the trash can back down near the house! I called them the next day and was told the same LAME formatted reply with that happy-go-lucky tone that COUNTLESS businesses adopt which is merely saying "sorry for the inconvenience" but no sincere consideration at all and then she just asked me to confirm my address and said would input the information to their system again and add a note that they will be picking up trash from last week and this upcoming week for my residence. Well next Friday came and SAME THING THEY NEVER PICKED IT UP! So I called again. Got the EXACT same response from them and finally the 3rd week they started picking up my trash but then started missing some Fridays and picking it up on Saturdays. I called AGAIN and funny how this time the customer service rep now said "well actually there are some circumstances where we will have to do pick-ups on the following or more convenient day" I said WHAT...Convenient for who? No, you, the same person I talked to the day I paid for your service, told me it will be "picked up on Fridays and only exception is if a major holiday fell on this day". She just grabbed her book of excuses and started reading them off one by one with every thing I said concerning how irresponsible, inconsiderate, incompetent, etc they are. Bottom line...another business that uses bait n switch tactics of making you feel confident of their services before you pay their bill, end up giving you half-azzzz service, and then expose their insincerity with their formatted replies and excuses since you're just a number and money to them read more

I switched to Kimble on 7/31/18 to save some money. APPARENTLY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. We were with Aarrow for years and loved them but the prices were getting a little high so we made the switch. BIG MISTAKE. Kimble had lied to us several times causing our trash to not be picked up for almost a month! They even have to make an off day pick up because we had so mush trash piling up, we couldn't wait any longer. They told us that we would be prorated for our trash service and never was. "Melissa" on chat even argued with me and in not so many words called me a liar, while constantly changing her story as to when OUR trash was actually picked up. Furthermore, our property was damaged when they finally did pick up our trash. We were promised twice that this would be fix and it never was. last but not least I was told SIX times (this is no exaggeration) SIX times that I would receive a call back from a manager in regards to all of my concerns and never did.
